Good service with areas to improve
I had a puncture in my front tire . The gentleman on reception/ customer service desk was very helpful, friendly and professional . The repair was completed quickly but I decided to buy 2 new rear tires after advice from the gentleman.
While I waited the gentleman left to look after other customers leaving a young lady in charge . I observed her dealing with other customers and she definitely needs customer service training. I asked her a question regarding timescales as I had to pick my grandchildren up she wasn’t helpful at all.
The service engineer was excellent , I noted that he was very busy but he was very polite and helpful he answered a few questions when he returned my car .
The reception area is very unclean and in need of a refurb. I usually use Pro Tyre in billingham and overall I rate the customer service experience higher than this branch .
The 2 rear tyres cost just over £200 I know that I could have got them cheaper but safety and convenience was my main consideration. I did get a small discount, the repair cost was deducted.

Rip off
I took my car here recently for a front wheel alignment as there was 50% off on the website. I'd never usually go for such "deals" but my husband has used the Stockton branch for years with no problem.
When I arrived, I was advised that I'd need a 4 wheel alignment at a cost of £129 and 2 new tyres. The cheapest being a budget tyre at £80 each!!! I'm not sure where they plucked such figures from but I told them I'd take the car elsewhere as their prices were ridiculous. I drove straight to another garage and got a 2 wheel alignment for £45 (4 wheel deemed unnecessary for a car like mine) and 2 new mid-range tyres for £60 each.
I've since checked ProTyres website and I can get a Bridgestone for £79.90, so I'd love to know what this mythical £80 budget tyre is. I'm guessing they saw a lone female and decided it was a good opportunity to rob me for car repairs.
To top it off, I've still not received a refund for the money I paid to book the car in on their website. I'll claim it back through my bank.

I found when I took my car for an mot the staff were sociable easy to talk to and efficient in their work.The price of the mot was good compared to some of the other garages 10/10

Great customer service and a really good price on tyres and brake fluid change. Even emailed me when their phones were down to let me know my car was ready to collect. Had availability the following day and no hassle. Highly recommend!

A relative recommended we try Protyre at Cannon Park, Mbro and I'm pleased we did. My granddaughter's Alto needed an MOT but failed on a brake pipe. I hadn't realised a repair could be carried out there so we accepted and off we went for a trip to the shops.
Hats off to the staff at Protyre from receiving us to getting the car through its' test. Matt was very thorough and listed other advisories to keep an eye on. Zara looked after us on a steaming hot day and offered drinks and ice lollies.
I think Protyre should be very proud of their staff at the Mbro branch. We'll be recommending them and coming back for future repairs and MOT tests 👍.

Despite unforeseen technical problems with one of the ramps the Protyre team at Cannon Park still managed to get my MOT done and ready on time Great service again from this branch. Going to get my AirCon recharged there soon as well

Air con regas
Excellent service.
Phoned just after 9 am and was given useful advice over the phone and booked in for an air con regas later that morning.
When I arrived on site the staff were really helpful and polite.
In under an hour my car was sorted and they even checked the tyres and breaks for me.
I will certainly be back.

Asda supplied wrong tyre.
Asda sent a car rated tyre in stead of a van rated one.
So Protyre Middlesbrough supplied the correct tyre.
