I regret hiring this company to install solar control film on my windows. The sales process was misleading — I was upsold to a pricier “Solar 20” film without being given specs, a manufacturer name, or a clear explanation of the downsides (e.g. light loss, nighttime mirror effect).

They didn’t check my glazing type, skipped thermal performance checks, and ignored potential warranty implications. Installation was rushed. They applied film over existing frosted privacy film (bad practice), and when adhesion failed, simply cut the film in half and left it — no discount, no fix.

They quoted for 11 panes (including skylights) but did only 9 and still charged more. After I complained, they promised to return, but didn't get in touch to arrange until I wrote a formal letter of complaint. I now need the film removed by a professional due to heat issues and risk.

This was a clear failure under the Consumer Rights Act — not as described, not fit for purpose, and not carried out with reasonable care. Avoid.

Paul did a great job installing heat reflective film on two large windows which are south facing and get a lot of direct sunlight. Fast and efficient, he managed to squeeze us in at the end of the day that I spoke to him as he wanted to ensure that he was able to carry out the installation before the next heatwave! It's already making a big difference!

Just had solar film fitted to the windows and doors of my orangery, including a roof that’s over 15 feet high — no small task, but Paul handled it with zero fuss. From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth and professional. He turned up on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable with the process and the benefits. Since moving into our new-build Paul has installed several large windows & roof light with UV protection film. We needed to replace a large sliding door & called to see if he could renew the film. I had a very disappointing experience with this company. The window film installation was rushed, and the quality of work was terrible. They made cuts to the rubber around the glass, leaving bits of rubber hanging off the window.

When I raised concerns about the poorly fitted film, I was met with endless excuses from Paul instead of a proper resolution. Despite offering a 15-year guarantee, there was absolutely no aftercare. He repeatedly promised to come and fix the issues but never followed through. It became clear that he’s only interested in quick jobs, not customer satisfaction.

If you’re considering this company, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better options with professionals who actually stand by their work. Avoid this company if you want quality service and proper aftercare.

Despite a mix up on my part, Paul's customer service was above & beyond. Highly recommend.
