It's so easy to order from this bookseller, whether you do so online or via the order form at the back of the monthly printed colour brochure.

There's a wide selection of books available in a variety of genres - something for everyone - and at good discounts.

The gap between order and delivery is quick (compared with a similar London-based bookseller). Each order is well packed in recyclable bubble wrap and a cardboard box.

At this time of year (August) they have a good selection of 2026 calendars reduced from £10.99 to £5.99, and I've already bought some for Christmas presents.

Postscript books have a well organised, clearly laid out catalogue and processed my order quickly. I had my order delivered within a week of ordering, packed really well. I knew each step that was taken to send my order to me via frequent emails from both them and the carrier. Very satisfied with communication from them and speed of processing and delivering my parcel.

Good Service

I love the PS Books catalogue, although often can't wait and peruse the website. The books are all so interesting, to a point where I wonder why they were remaindered, and I am often tempted to outspend any notional book budget I may set myself. There is a great joy in ownership and one day I may even read some of them...but for now they take their place in the TBR pile.

I've been a customer for 10 years. I have never been disappointed in any purchase I made during that time. Excellent service and value, highly recommended.

I have had cause to complain to Postscript because of their poor delivery system, you see I do not live within the recognised boundaries of the village, but it's on the road between the actual village and a farm/office rural units complex. Their delivery drivers dump anything next to my dustbins, which are easily visible from the road but not the house, I have raised this with them and their response is "Pay more for Post Office service".
My response is simple is "Say Good-bye to my business" I'm not a big customer but I usually buy several books at a time and therefore save their admin costs.
Why do modern suppliers think that their customers have to accept bad service? Lets face it they are buying up unsold books from publishers and I'm sure making a good living from it!
People like me treat books with respect not things to throw about the house, but Postscript appear not to.

My heart either leaps with joy of sinks quietly to the floor, well it would if there was room for it. Six six foot bookcases already full with books stacked on top, more (3 rows) lined up under a five foot long coffee table and a smaller bookcase with taller shelves for bigger books. I live in a one bedroom flat! No more I tell myself sternly, but that has about as much effect as when I also tell myself I don't need chocolate to read a book. I don't listen to either little voice.
