This is my second crosman vapor max.Both are very accurate with rws supermag pellets.I hate that people don't give the rifle a chance cause its a great rifle.All of my multipump air rifles shoot best groups with wadcutter pellets.

The shipping used to be very fast , Now it’s very slow and sloppy IMO , I have had two recent orders that were within a few hours of my home and they were transferred to Ohioand then back adding several more days to the waiting time as far as my last order went I never received it. After being transferred to Amazon delivery it was marked as undeliverable and sent back to you and no email notifications were sent to tell me what happened. I had to continually check the tracking system to discover that I wasn’t getting the pkg

It's hard to find a negative thing with PA because their mantra is customer service. That said, I bought a refurbished rifle on the (indirect) advice of BB on their own site that states you should trust a refurb over new because these units have been screened by TOP people (paraphrasing) and given a good bill of health. My rifle, a .22 Avenge-X had some signs of previous issues which included some mangling of screws and a bizarre hammer spring adjustment... but it still shot well. Until it didn't hold air, which did give me some angst. This was my first PCP and some might forgive me for being a bit irritated, but the warranty was 3 months and I didn't even shoot the gun until spring, which was well past that time. So, I have to fix this thing on my own and information on the mechanicals of the gun are sketchy at best. As it turns out, seals on these guns are awful and there is no conceivable way to reseal without a full factory O-package, which is what I eventually bought. Ace Hardware had a few O-rings, but there is absolutely no way to reseal the entire unit without a package. The good news is that while I was languishing in the backorder chaos of a firing valve, I went ahead and just put the seals in (which had dropped in price by 60%) and it holds air perfectly and shoots like a champ again. One of the things that chapped me a bit was that I found a bellinger washer all crushed up in the firing valve area and couldn't determine where it came from or how to replace it from the parts diagram. AirVenturi figured out that I'd left the "wave washer" installed behind the pellet probe loose and it had migrated all the way into the hammer area, smashing it to bits and causing one of my original problems. THAT was almost certainly my bad from when I switched barrels from the original .22 to .177 (an awesome feature) but didn't know or remember that there was a loose piece in the area. Yeah, be mindful of that stupid washer and you'll have only the crappy seals to deal with. The sparcity of information dictates that I tell you that the reseal package includes a knock valve seal as well as the two base seals of the pressure gauges, so the only real possibility of a pressure leak not addressed by the package comes with the fill probe check valve... which is still on back order. MY lack of fill probe sealing was ultimately found to be a split O-ring that seals the base of the check valve to the probe, just one of the many rubber-oriented quality control issues with this unit. On disassembly, you'll find one great seal and the next RIGHT NEXT TO IT is hardened and square -- the same seal, just apparently different chemistries. Replace 'em all and be aware that Captain O-ring now has reseal packages available if you're not confident with the factory stuff. I have three factory kits in the range kit now and the gun has been holding 4K pressure without a whisper for 2 months since the total reseal. Dang. I wish it was still camping season, but the bugs at 30 yards that got a new lease on life won't complain. BTW Benjamin Single-Die pellets in .22 and .177 are absolutely positively the best for this gun at 1600 reg pressure, shot at 9500 feet altitude. It shouldn't make any difference with a PCP but my TX sure hated life out there.

Earlier than promised delivery date. No issues with ordering process. Biggest disappointment was having 1499 bonus bucks, just 1 point from $15 discount but did get $10 discount. Sig 1911 shot nicely right out of the box.

Found what i was looking for fairly easily. Purchase went smooth, shipping was fast, and delivery was even faster than expected!! Pellets were well packed and protected.

The JSB 18.13gr are one of the most accurate pellets in my gen 1 Barra 1100z with 3 turns in of the hammer screw, the RWS Meisterkugeln are right up there too with pinky nail size groups between the two of them at 20yd. Will need to change direction of fire for more distance (35yds max).

I was kept informed about my order, tracking was easy to use and order arrived quickly and on time.

I feel that Pyramyd Air is a top notch 5-star company, but even 5-star companies sometimes fail to live up to 5-star performance. My latest experience, although uncommon did not go well. I had an air rifle in for an air leak. I was told it would be 3-6 weeks. After 7 weeks I sent an email asking for an update. Two business days later I received a reply that "parts" were delayed. The next day I received an email "good news the parts are here". The next day I received a call that the repair had been completed. The rifle was shipped back to me in a timely fashion. But when I was sighting in my scope, after 15 or so shots, I started feeling puffs of air to my aiming eye. Then a hissing noise. Yep, the rifle was leaking again. I contacted Tech support 2 business days ago and again yesterday. No response yet.
On the other hand, I recently placed an order for pellets but forgot to use my “Bullseye Bucks”. Within 5 minutes, on a chat, my order was updated to reflect the discount and, while still on the chat, I received an email for the order with the Bucks applied. Now that is 5-star performance by Customer Service.

I pre-ordered an Air Venturi MicroStrike PCP Air Pistol, Caliber - .25 (6.35mm) in early October and received it in early November.

It was unexpected and I was very pleased to get the gun so quickly given its pre-order status with an unknown restocking date when I bought it.

The carbine was packaged well and was in perfect condition when it arrived.

One thing to note: a 24h pressure test for the gun was requested at purchase, which P.A. tested at 3500 PSI instead of its nominal 4350 PSI. This is not a big deal since the gun holds pressure fine, but such pressure tests should be done at the maximum pressure allowed by the manufacturer.

I added a compact 3-9x40 scope to the gun and added a DonnyFL KOI moderator. A quick 6 shot group test showed that the gun is perfectly accurate at 15 yards using AEA .25 Cal. 33.9 gr pellets that I had on hand.
