Over 4,400 RAL, NCS and British Standard Colour Samples – Cards and Sachets Delivered Free Get instant colour previews with A6 colour sample cards or sample sachets. These options let users view colours on almost any surface before committing to a larger purchase – ideal for checking harmony, contrast, and finish in different environments without opening a full tin of paint. Perfect for trade and domestic use on doors, floors, cladding, masonry, uPVC, railings, and more. Sample cards allow mess-free comparisons without painting out, while sachets offer physical samples that can be brushed or rolled directly onto the substrate. Fast, Simple Colour Testing Sample cards are clean, portable and ready to use – no tools or drying time required. Simply place and assess the shade in situ using low-tack adhesive or tape. Alternatively, sample sachets contain water-based satin finish paint for real-world testing on the surface in question. Both formats help ensure colour suitability for surroundings, lighting, and materials. Cards can be filed for future use, and sachets allow full finish preview including sheen and coverage. Choose lighter or darker tones to view side-by-side and compare with confidence. Colour Match Service Can’t find the exact colour you need? Rawlins Paints offers a free colour match service for physical references. Send in a 25mm x 25mm sample and the team will match it to the closest RAL, NCS, or BS shade available. This runs in parallel with the sample sachets and card range. Click here for more details and instructions on submitting your sample. Alternatively, contact technical@rawlinspaints.com or call 0113 2455450 (option 2) for tailored advice and support. Important Disclaimer These colour samples are provided for colour identification only. They do not represent other characteristics of the final paint or coating product. Final finish, sheen, and texture will differ in the applied product. Lighting, application method, substrate, and preparation all affect final results. Only purchase a full product once satisfied with the sample outcome. Cards are printed to provide a close representation. Sachets deliver a water-based satin finish paint – always test first in an inconspicuous area. Sample sachets and sample cards are non-refundable and non-returnable. How to Use Cards View in daylight and artificial light to understand shade shifts. Place directly on the intended surface – interior or exterior. Fix with low-tack tape or adhesive. Compare multiple shades side-by-side. Store for reference or re-use on future projects. Sachets Shake well before use. Apply with a suitable brush or roller. Ensure surface and air temperature are between 10°C and 32°C, humidity below 85%. Apply 2–3 coats, allowing 1 hour between coats. Dry for 24 hours before assessing.
