not the best council i have lived here 25 years and its been been progressively getting worse and worse. The roads are in a poor state with potholes, the footpaths on the streets arent cleaned and often rubbish lingers there for upto a week or more. But the council are excellent when it comes to taking peoples money with parking tickets etc.

My reason for writing this review however was the lady i spoke to when it came to me registering my marriage, didn't seem like she cared and constantly saying "yh yh yh yh" to cut me off so she could end the call early without resolving my issues.

Has to be the worst borough I've ever lived in. No responses from call line, website is a SHAMBLE with confusing and conflicting information; it's simply like they don't care!

Can you please, get someone competent to raise the current standards, because it is bottom low, Redbridge. A little competency is all a humble resident asks for.

Absolute shamble.

No one picks up the phone or bothers responding to emails with regards to Redbridge council tax. Whats going on? Terrible service and correspondance.

cant get a hold of anyone in the council regarding council tax enquiry, i have an sent enquiry via the log in site NO REPLY been 30days!!, subsequently sent an email regarding the same enquiry been 11days NO REPLY! either your employees are in their jim jams working from home and cant be bothered replying to theses enquires or you need to hire more staff! thank god after more than 38 years in ilford ive moved out from what has now become a proper S.H!T WHOLE over the past 5-10 years!!

Rang to speak to someone after having gone through the option list Re Gardens waste. Voice Message saying busy and someone will be with you shortly. Waited for nearly 14 minutes and the phone cut off.

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC OLD AGE BRITISH STANDARDS.
Just like everything else about this country the councils are stuck in the 40s where everything is paper and slow and passes the buck to you. Recently moved recently bought a car - car obviously registered at my previous address so they wont take my new resident parking permit even though I can show council tax, drivers licence, HOUSE OWNERSHIP of my new property. They say I cant prove I am a resident o the bourogh due to my car being under a different address when I bought the car the month before I moved!!!

Comig from a much more progressive country i can believe the issues i face living in England.

WW2 was 80 years ago British might hasn't been a thing since then.

I Think the council has sort it self out turn out to be like other council's money grabbing out of order council specially on the roads none stop having road works plus Thames water messing the roads when you ant got choice you have gone done some of the roads and for no reason at all none risker of life threating to people there got cameras recording you take pictures and sending fines either to people who are disabled I think its out of order sort your self out.

If you have noisy neighbours that are driving you to distraction even after you have made more than 10 attempts to politely and through the correct channels to get the noise to cease... I suggest that you don’t ask the Antisocial behaviour team for assistance! (However I have only good things to say about Akeem he did actually seem to care at the time)
They will wait until you are so fed up of dealing with the issue that you retaliate against the neighbours that are disturbing you and then the Council will then slap YOU with a warning notification. Better off calling the Police who responded immediately and with empathy for my situation. Met Police Officer Jennifer Ayres was a God send.

Redbridge Council are lazy and will only be happy when you have moved out of the Borough which is what many decent residents including myself are now doing.
Redbridge Council win zero stars for tact and decency and are clearly not interested in assisting if you are a hard working property owner just trying to live a quiet decent life. How dare I complain!!!!

Awful council management. Is been one week I try to contact them on the phone half an hour speaking the robot until they put you in the line with the operators and nobody answer . Keep calling to this incompetent staff. Last year I applied for exemption council tax and after some many they mistake they accepted and they call me for tell me that I m exempt.Suddenly I receive a call after 8 months of exemption saying that I have to pay council tax as they don’t found my exemption on the system and I don’t result I have an application before ridiculous. They say I need to reapply as someone of them delete my previous application. I apply since three time online and many months pass after. I receive now a letter that they suit me on the court for not paying the council tax since last year. I try to call them so many time nobody answer on they phone and the robot tell me to go apply online for the exemption. Is the worst council in all London. Never happen that in others area council. They are all worthless there. They should hire born languages people’s English too because Mama India, Pakistan employers in this council are unable to help us. Nothing against this mother’s country but Brexit should help to make some space jobs. Out of them if they are incompetent to do they jobs in this institutions.

Dreadful council been living here over 25 years. But over past few years dreadful service. Complaints about noisy neighbour. Do nothing. There been lots of all night parties with shouting all night and banging all night. Him just generally noisy banging and doesnt stop shouting. One night I call out noise patrol cos sounded like 20 men stamping on floor upstairs and shouting continuously late in evening. They came round and said my neighbour just has a few friends round and not going to do anything. I have had to put up with years of it. I been put through sheer hell with building works going on through a pandemic from same neighbour for 4 months. Lots of concrete drilling, loud banging and hammering all noise coming right through my house. I would like redbridge council to tell me where am I supposed to get away from all the noise you ALLOWED to take place during a lockdown??????? I have disability cant walk that far and dnt have a car. Where is there to go anyway? I have no escape but local parks and bus stops. Try spending an entire day sitting in them with disabilites. And nearest one is quite a walk. Then I tell them about the builders working on a sunday. I talked to the builder asking him why he working when hes not supposed to be on a sunday. To be faced with a patronising response. Told noise team twice. They did nothing. Had to call out police to go round there cos as well as noise they werent follwing social distancing rules, werent wearing masks. Some of them were coughing and spitting all over place. Write email reply back to council writing me a letter saying they wrote to him about building noise. Nothing still nothing. Told them about building at bottom garden neighbours house all derelict and hard plastic roof with sharp edges flying off into my garden and broken up fence panels dangerously banging and swinging in wind. Asked could he just take the broken bits off to make less dangerous. Nothing. Still nothing. Have to put up with noise and wondering whether im safe to go in my garden cos flying debris and fence panels and also whether Im safe from builders not wearing masks and throwing cigarettes and building materials in my garden. Appalling. Council has done nothing to help me. All the while letting my inconsiderate self centred neighbour get away with everything.

Recycling collection every 2 weeks for a 8 apartment building is not ideal. Specially after Christmas...

Useless staff. Useless at handling complaints.

I hate this Borough and doing everything I can to get the hell out!!!

I had an issue and the lady I spoke to at the call centre was so rude, ready to argue with everything I said right from the start of the conversation. In the end I just got off the phone because of how aggressively she was speaking, there was absolutely no need for it.

Pretence of Safeguarding (adult & children social services).
It is all pretence of safeguarding (children and adult social services) and child protection. They diabolically abused me pregnant down to after delivery to date and took away my two children in connection with same corrupt diabolic Newham Council but hoping on Jesus Christ to restore my children back safely to me which is sure to happen or else they will face the consequences directly from me. They abused my children the same way and even took one away from birth. They are diabolic International Modern Slave traders, child and human traffickers. If you are not a part of their diabolic criminal occultic circle here, you will lose your life and that of your children. It is arranged for modern slavery child and human trafficking. They produce the highest terrorist in the world. The same are all their affiliations with most of corrupt local authorities and Social services, police and government. Naive and new people in the UK like me either looking for a job or for children and adult protection, run for your lives! This council and the rest of them need to be closed permanently under such names of owners or anyone connected to them. Very Scary and terrifying Council in all manner. Knowing that I had done a low rating for MET police today for same reason being a part of these diabolic crimes, some diabolic criminal had come here before me to do a fake rating of 5 for them on my same name "Hannah Baugh" meaning I have to bow to their Snake/Python religious, witchery and wizardry worship which they force you to worship them and make a sacrifice to them including with your children. There is also fake other religious worships or even non religion maniacs as well.. Bizarre things happen in the houses you rent or own because you must be diabolically criminally monitored 247 for modern slavery, child and human trafficking purposes. The same mind and physical monitor and control from home to anywhere on daily basis. Armed robbers, murderers and criminals. Full of diabolic schemes and harassment of all sorts including sexually. So are all their workers and associated persons. There is no respect to right to personal and private family life. Child abuse, exploitation physically, intellectually, spiritually, online and otherwise for both adults and children. International diabolic prostitutes attacks to force for you to become one of them or else confiscate all your working papers, criminal record checks and jobs. If you dare work, they must have already been in control if not gain access to you at all costs at work to remove you from work and abuse you there as well. They can give your work to another of their occultic members even if you like move or run to another borough for your safety with your children. Food in shops, supermarkets and ordering food online or anything online even outside this council are already secluded, poisoned and initiated occultically for their victims like me. These councils are worst show of shame and disgrace to a whole overrated government of United Kingdom.

Left-Wing Fascist (contradictory but true) Unscrupulous Charlatans-
Fined me for driving passed a primary school during drop-off time (with signage hidden round corners and obscured with a purpose to deceive), who even knew that this was even a thing? In fact it had only been a thing for a small few days and yet they would give no period of grace... Why? Because it's not actually about children's health and well-being: IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, APPARENTLY OVER £7M PER ANNUM.

Child / young person with a serious disability, vulnerable and homeless, no care plan or support can't even get the name of the condition right. Disability discrimination claim proven through tribunal!! Redbridge council is still unable to put correct support in place. Rude, unhelpful, laughed at the young person when he asked for help. Keeps getting told its not within remits when approaching different departments and getting pushed from one end to another. Happy to name staff and recording of conversations with redbridge Council. Unfortunately Redbridge has quite a few disgusting, rude, unhelpful not fit for purpose services and staff

They deserve 0 star dues to their unprofessional and arrogant behaviour. I don't understand how the people are employed by the council. They talk to you with their arrogant behaviour rather than resolving the issues. I have raised concerns on several occasions but they never get back to me via email and kept sending letters. I dont understand they are there to help people not to make their life miserable. I have to take several times half a day of from work to see someone face to face but noone is there to help you. They advise you to call the number where very unprofessional people are sitting and reading the scripts rather than resolving your queries.I have recorded all their conversations with conflict answers and advise from their staff members. My advice to everyone is please do not be put off with arrogant and unprofessional peoples.

The rudest customer service ever, the call takers are always ready to argue with you rather than resolving anything, I have called up many times always get unhelpful elderly ladies on the phone some of whom I know by name and positive do not like working and speaking to asians as they cannot pronounce our names.
