Poor choice and value for money

Poor choice and value for money. Booked a driving experience only to find out i needed to pay around £180 extra for insurance. So changed to a hotel stay but even that I had to upgrade to get a hotel that was worth a lot less than my original voucher value.
Great business model for the company. Not so much for the consumer

Booking process was straightforward…

Booking process was straightforward once I had decided on the date. On arrival we were greeted well and shown around. The gown was slightly short and the flip flops were too small , the replacement was a larger used pair. The treatment was great , masseur was attentive. The resting room after the treatment could have been cleaner as there were cups and plates still on the table that needed to be cleared away. It wasn’t too busy so couldn’t understand why attention to detail was overlooked . Overall, The treatment was the best experience the venue did not match my expectations.
Will not be returning in a hurry .

It was a lovely day out

It was a lovely day out. There were no problems booking the experience and the staff on site were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend Didcot railway experience to anyone.

Booked a fire engine, no longer available. Now being ignored 🙁

Booked a fire engine. Tank and army truck driving experience for my husband. Fire engine no longer available. Now the Tank id in Rubgy and the truck near Gatwick. Red letter have ignored 3 attempts to contact them about this. I will do a credit card charge back as its not acceptable

Had to abort my visit 24 hours before…

Had to abort my visit 24 hours before due on site due to a house break in. Had to return north to make safe my house. Advised too late to re book

So basically

So basically, my wife booked a hotel that is listed on Red letter day website, paid extra which was fine, got an email confirmation from Red letter days with the booking and have now been told by the hotel itself it doesn't accept Red letter days ...
Impossible to get in touch with customer services ..
Hoping someone from Red letter days responds on here 🤔

Really wish I'd never used red letter…

Really wish I'd never used red letter days as a gift. My partner couldn't really book anything she wanted and we ended up spending more just to get something and phoning to get a code that worked. Will book direct in future.

Extremely inflexible

Extremely inflexible and useless customer service. Never had any issues with extending long expired vouchers on Virgin experiences, but apparently with this company you can have a £200 experience paid for and they are all too happy to gobble up your money and tell you go to f yourself if your voucher expired 2 months ago. What a disgusting practice. Stay away from this site and use Virgin for your experiences!

Stay Clear….

Great experience with Red Letter Days

Great experience with Red Letter Days. I booked an overnight stay and everything was easy to arrange from start to finish. The process was smooth, and the experience itself was really enjoyable. It made for a nice, relaxing break—would definitely use them again.

Was very noisy and not relaxing

I booked a spa day through Red Letter Days (was straight forward) for myself and my husband, expecting a relaxing and peaceful experience. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
It wasn’t made clear at the time of booking that the spa facilities were open to the public like a leisure centre. The pool area was very busy and noisy, with families and children jumping in and out, which made it hard to relax. Around midday, a large speaker was brought out and a water aerobics class started, adding even more noise and disruption.
This wasn’t the calm spa atmosphere I had anticipated when booking.
On a positive note, we did really enjoy the cream tea and the massage—both were lovely and the highlight of the visit.
I do think clearer information should be provided when booking so customers know what type of environment to expect.

Terrible systems

Every time I have use this company there is always a problem with actually making the booking. On this occasion I have place the booking and extended the voucher only to find the payment has been taken, but no extension on the voucher. In general the booking process is arduous and frustrating to the point where this voucher was a present, but my parents gave it back to me.
