I have been a customer of Reed Comic's for only a short period of about six months (their website is the best in the UK for comics, in my experience), and in that time I have ordered multiple omnibuses, absolutes, and hardcovers.

First of all, the care that goes into packaging these items, particularly the more expensive and luxurious absolutes and omnibuses, is first class and I cannot say a bad word about the service when it comes to getting items to the customer safely.

As a side note, I really appreciate the unique packaging they use when sending smaller items; it just fits the cultural aesthetic perfectly and I really commend them for the effort to make themselves stand out from the crowd - it makes me smile every time I receive a delivery (you'll have to make a purchase to find out what I'm talking about).

Second, the prices are always fair, and they often do 10% off on pre-orders which an avid reader, such as myself, appreciates.

The last point I will make will be one of minor complaint, and I mean seriously minor compared to all of the other aspects of the outstanding service provided; the delivery times can be a bit longer than expected in my experience. For example, when I have ordered a single hardcover, I would not receive it for at least 7-10 days, and this wait time is a bit longer for larger items like an absolute. I personally don't mind, being fairly patient and happy to concede that delivery is not going to be up to the speeds of Amazon and its nationwide distribution network as Reed is only a small business, but I wouldn't be honest if I didn't mention it.

Personally, I am much more satisfied waiting a little longer if it means I can support a small business that focuses on providing an extensive library of graphic novels specifically and has clearly gone into a lot of effort to do so. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Before I purchased from this website, I was a bit wary of the negative reviews but I thought the positives outweighed the negatives and I was correct. I couldn’t of asked for any more, super fast shipping and delivery, even quicker than stated on the website. I ordered on the 25th and it came by the 27th which I am very pleased about. The book couldn’t of been any safer, the packaging was superb. Overall a really great experience shopping with Reed Comics, any negative experiences other people have had definitely was not the case here. I will be shopping with Reeds again in the near future. 5/5*

WARNING DON'T USE THIS STORE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T GET YOU THE GOOD THAT YOU PAYED FOR. if i had the chaces i give this shop no star it not even worth half a star. this is one of the worst shop ive ever try to buy from. i order twice off them my frist order was two an half week late to come after the initally order be cancelled and redone and sent out a week later. my second order never trun up when i sent a email ask where it was someone call simon who customer service. has the worst customer service skill i ever recived and he dicriminated against me for having a disabilty he refusing to resend the book or give me a refund this shop/website a SCAM better off buy else where

Great first experience. I ordered last week expecting there to be slight delays due to the current circumstances with the pandemic however this wasn’t the case.
Also love the packaging, my comic was sealed in plastic film and the decals on the box made me smile

I very recently ordered a handful of of Deadly Class comics issue Nos. 16, 19 & 32 - 35 in order to fill in a few holes in my collection of owning the series in floppy’s/singles from #1 up to current (as of the time of writing this #45 is the most recent issue to be released) All of the comics arrived bagged & boarded in pristine condition.

Overall I couldn’t be happier with my first experience with ordering from this company and I would highly recommend them to my fellow comic book enthusiasts out there.

Worst buying experience ever! Worst manager ever! About one month ago I have ordered from the first time, one WEEK after placing my order I e-mailed asking what is happening with my order as it has not even been dispatched yet! Of course the usual excuses about restrictions came. Interestingly other companies don't have such issues. Then recently I have received notification about a book returning in stock. First of all, just like before, I had to e-mail the company, because the item was shown in stock, but could not put it in cart. After a few days I see that I have been charged and then after 5 days the book was still not dispatched! This is not good procedure at all, I understand if they cannot dispatch in time, but then don't charge me days or one week ahead no? I have contacted them and this Simon who seems to be a manager was VERY unpleasant, showing no sign of any knowledge how to treat customers, couldn't even greet, then he canceled my order even though I never asked that and later on he even deactivated my account! You people can all decide what to think of this..... Now as you can see he has replied to my text denying everything.. :) Typical. He admits that after 5 days they didn't even send the book, but I was charged already days before. The thing is, that the person can claim whatever he wants, because he doesn't have any proof! But whoever is reading my message, just think.... why would I do this if I don't have a good reason? Also, they have replied to this several months later, surely they care a lot. Anyway, I have heard from others as well how ridiculously this person was behaving.

Phoned to enquire about an order I'd placed (which, it turns out, had been processed and posted that day), but found myself having a good old chat about the world in general as well; how nice is that! Lovely people, reliable service, terrific range of reasonable priced, extremely well packaged books, what more could you ask for?

I've been using them for over a decade now and have rarely had any issue with them at all. On those incredibly rare occasions they have bent over backwards to correct any errors and been expressly helpful and friendly.
I cannot fault them in anyway. Fantastic people, fantastic prices and above fantastic service.

The single worst shopping experience of my life. I ordered some books and when the parcel arrived many were missing. However rather than give me a refund the owner and manager Simon Reed accused me of attempting to steal them. I was questioned as to why I wanted a refund and he began to shout at me, he eventually put down the phone saying, and I quote ' I can't be bothered with this.' like a petulant teenager. I have still not been refunded as apparently, according to Mr Reed, it must be investigated with the courier company and I am left out of pocket until he is satisfied that I have not attemted some criminal sting against him. What Mr Reed fails to realise, is that the issue is with he and the courier and the customer is not in any way expected to wait to be refunded.

Sadly I am now having to seek legal advice and have my solicitor looking into the matter as he is being completely unreasonable, despite the fact that when I rang I was not angry, I didnt lose my temper, I offered to send him images of the box and was perfectly cooperative. The amount that I am owed is £194 and change and thankfully I am in a position right now, where that money is not the be all and end all to me. I can afford to seek legal advice as I feel the matter needs to be dealt with and I refuse to be accused of being a criminal. However, I wasn't always lucky enough to be in a financial position where £194 was not desperately needed and I urge anyone who is thinking of using this service to think again. Especially if you ask for a refund, heaven help you if something is to go missing or not arrive.

Fantastic company with excellent service and quality very good. Would use them all the time if i could afford it. 👌

I have been purchasing my books and comics from Reed Comics for sometime now and I don’t know of any other company that will look after you and your orders. The shipment is quick and your books are well protected. Each comic comes bagged and boarded and if you subscribe you can save even more money. I saved a fortune on Batman Damned #1 I only paid the cover price and not the ridiculous £30+ . There is also a points system when you open your account so you can collect points with each purchase and offset those points to your bill!
The staff are very helpful and will do their utmost to order anything that they may not usually stock for you.
DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE SHOP AT REEDS!

Great service and fairly priced comics.
I ordered a batch of comic books, and they contacted before dispatching to advise me that one of the comics had been advertised with an incorrect image. They checked whether I wanted the comic in the image, or the comic in the details, or wished to remove it from my order. Have checked their website since, and they have updated the listing.
I always highly value a company that owns up to a mistake and resolves it before you even know their is an issue! Would Highly recommend. I have ordered about 30 comics from them now over various orders and have always received efficient service and delivery (with excellently packaged comics).

Have ordered a few times now from Reed from both their main site and their Ebay store. Items always arrive very well packed and in superb condition.

Postage charges are very reasonable and items are always sent very quickly.
