I was let down by another moving company and contacted George at 1:45pm on a Friday afternoon. He was wonderful and agreed to help me the same evening after his full day of work. He and his team were on time, had everything they needed to move my things safely & securely, were upbeat and professional. Even though they had to deal with heavy items up and down stairs until almost 9pm they still had the heart to chat happily to my 2 year old and coo at my baby. I would 100% recommend.

The whole process was easy from the start. I liked being able to complete everything online and on my own schedule. I also liked that George sent reminder messages leading up to my appointment, and day-of texts to let me know exactly when the movers would arrive. George and Ika was fast, thorough, and communicative and did a great job!

The initial phone calls were straight forward and I was happy to go ahead. All seemed well until move day.

The team turned up, they seemed irritated from the offset. I found their attitudes stressful to deal with - especially on my own.
They accused me of lying about the amount of possessions I needed to move - entirely unfair given I had answered all the questions asked of me during consultation phone calls.

I gave them the option to leave the job, but the said they were 'here now, so may as well continue'.

Some of my furniture was damaged as they tried to move it down the stairs. I tried to help offer advice about how to move it, but was just told this furniture couldn't have come into my flat via this staircase - which of course it had.
There was only one way in. This wasted a lot of time.

They did not seem to be in a hurry the entire time compared with other companies I have used.
I ended up doing 10 runs up/down myself because they just didn't seem to want to move quickly - making the experience even more anxiety inducing.

After 3 hours I knew I'd be charged extra. I was charged for an extra hour, despite it only being 20mins past using the 3 hours I'd booked for.

The whole point of using a company was to make it a stress free experience.

A previous company I used got the same job done in less than 3 hours, including a drive which was further, in the snow- and it was all upstairs, not down.
I am disappointed with the service and I would not recommend, particularly to anyone moving on their own who is looking to be looked after.

Booked weeks in advance to move two properties, one with a newborn baby. Failed to turn up to either property on the day and didn’t even let us know. We had to chase, was told they’d get back to us with a plan due to staff illness and then proceeded to block our calls. This left myself stranded with 2 children, one being a newborn and all of our belongings fully packed. Luckily my husband managed to secure a rental van which was an hours drive away to pick up. 16 hours later, what should have been a couple of hours job with two vans and 4 men we had booked, my husband and brother had completed the two house moves with myself 12 weeks post birth having to load and unload the van all day and find childcare last minute. This was an extremely stressful situation we were left in, with no help to try and resolve the issue whatsoever, as well as no attempt to contact us with an apology or any explanation or anything since and have also blocked us on social media as an attempt to stop us letting other people know about this company

This company is honestly the best option. I have made two moves with them (the latest on June 2023) and have also recommended them for a friend of mine who also had a great experience. My solicitor was Malik Khalid and he was careful with your case, patient, friendly and very professional. Booking the firm is really easy and you have personalised communication all way through. Not only that, they have the most competitive pricing (and believe me, I did my research)! You'll be pressed to find a better service. Many thanks Malik for your wonderful advice!
