I had a very disappointing experience with the Chatham branch of Robinson Michael Jackson, specifically with the handling of my purchase by Kiran.

As a first-time buyer, I made every effort to carry out proper due diligence, including requesting a second viewing shortly after my offer was accepted. This was not facilitated for several months, despite multiple requests, and even after I had already paid for a survey. This delay meant that when I was finally able to revisit the property, it was very late in the process and close to the seller’s intended completion date.

During the second viewing, I identified an issue that required further inspection by a builder, which I had to arrange at short notice and additional cost due to the delays. When raising this, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive response, being told that my surveyor “should have picked it up,” despite the fact the survey had been carried out months earlier.

When I attempted to renegotiate based on professional advice, I felt significant pressure was applied due to the seller’s timeline, culminating in being told “we will not be doing business with you.” This came across as highly unprofessional and inappropriate, particularly given my position in the chain as a first-time buyer.

Communication throughout was poor, and there was a lack of consideration for my position in the transaction. The process felt rushed at the end due to earlier delays that were not of my making.

I will say that Sam, the branch manager, did step in and made a genuine effort to resolve matters, which I appreciated. However, this does not outweigh the overall experience.

Based on my experience, I found the service to be unprofessional, poorly managed, and not supportive of a buyer acting in good faith.

Georgia in the Orpington branch is absolutely lovely. She’s extremely personable, helpful, upbeat and accommodating and as another review implies, a great asset to the company.
As I mentioned in another review Steve Perrin is brilliant too, equally as helpful and down to earth. I’m extremely impressed with the Orpington branch of Robinson Jackson. They’re very reasonable and sold my house and were great communicators and hopefully they will find me one too!

Emma from the Strood branch was very helpful she answered all my questions with a professional approach she was also very helpful could not fault her thankyou again.

A viewing with Georgia from Orpington Branch. Extremely knowledgeable about the property. Very kind courteous and friendly. A warm and lovely personality - a great asset to the business and as a result I shall recommend them. She will go far in her career without doubt.

Erin and ellie have been super helpful of getting us our home, they have made sure everything is done as soon as possible and have been in contact about everything step, can't fault them,

I was looking for a property in Kent and i came across this company online, looked through what was available and in my price range , i called in and i was told i would be contacted back to send in my DIP. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. I feel like they wanted to dictate what i bought or the property was never available. The tone one of the agents used was argumentative and authoritative. I.e. asking us why we were moving to Kent ETC at which i responded it was our choice . Then again i thought , how do you ask someone you are selling property to that kind of question? It just didn't seem right so i did some digging and some research on here and I'm not surprised. I have removed them from my search engine , no history , nothing, i don't wanna deal with them, it's my money and house i spend it and on what property and where is my business otherwise these people are a joke of time wasters. good luck to the lucky ones that acquired good services from them and all the best to whoever is dealing with them. We will be looking and buying somewhere else. Thanks.

Robinson Jackson Ebbsfleet helped us through our house sale and onward purchase and we had a great experience. There were a lot of complications but Kerstie, Carol, and the whole team worked really hard to keep us moving forward and we felt like we were in very good hands. We'd happily recommend them to anyone looking to move house.

Absolutely shocking service from start to finish with Robinson Jackson’s and they left us feeling frustrated and disappointed with the service they provided, not happy in the slightest and I wouldn’t recommend them even if they were the last estate agents on earth!!!!

Robinson Jackson have been a very organized and approachable estate agent, with a wide variety of properties in their portfolio. They have worked hard to answer my many questions on multiple properties I was looking into. Isabelle, was also very professional and adaptable in organizing viewings, answering questions during the viewings and following up afterwards to address the concerns of both buyer and seller.

Can’t fault the fact they TRIED to sell my flat in Catford - however the market is rubbish and in the end I secured a deal with an investor. The problem lies in that i think the branch manager was very miffed that i sold elsewhere - i did check the notice period, gave notice and never heard anything back. Ive emails several times and havent had the assurance I need to continue with my sale.
I’d really like it if Robinson Jackson would ease my anxiety and please confirm that we are no longer in contract so that i can go about my business and sell without worry that somehow im doing something wrong - its a really stressful time, im sure RJ can empathise. It’s not been an easy time for me, selling my home and moving away.

Very unprofessional experience. A viewing was agreed upon and confirmed on the same day, but no one showed up. Multiple phone calls went unanswered, and emails were ignored. No explanation was ever provided.

Extremely poor service from Robinson Jackson Dartford. I waited to view a property for weeks, calls were unanswered ,and information kept changing. On the day of the confirmed viewing, I was told at the last minute that property was no longer available. Totally unprofessional and waste f time

Worst ever service I have received from any organisation. Pure incompetence, to say the least. Rented a property with them and at move in, property was at best filthy. This was after they lied during the viewing that the property would be painted and cleaned. Heating in the home not working. Made them aware that I have 3 children with me at the time, they didn’t even care. Don’t use them if you don’t want heartache. Regrets all the way. Never been so stressed in my life.

Despite us already having a mortgage in principle, she repeatedly pressured us to use their in-house mortgage services. She stated that without a mortgage in principle we would not be allowed to view the property, even though we had already provided an email from our independent mortgage adviser confirming how much we could borrow. Her approach was unprofessional and made the experience very uncomfortable.

We recently bought a house through the Belvedere branch of Robinson Jackson. The sales team were very accommodating, showing and reshowing the house to us and their sales negotiators, especially Charlie Greenway, were excellent at promptly answering all our questions (even the possibility daft ones). It was a smoth transaction and tgey even negotiated to move up the move-in date by a few weekd. Overall, I would highly recommend Robinson Jackson as estate agents.

Went to purchase a house first time told I was a preferred buyer then suddenly seller went with someone else the estate agents involved were not transparent to the point of lying on occasions I do not recommend this company they have a bad reputation amongst other agents

I had a very bad experience with this agency, I applied for a property, they sent me a rental form, i fill all and transfer holding deposit . 4 days passed and they told me absolutely nothing, then I called and they said Sorry but we stopped your renting process. The WORSE I lost money they Don't want to return holding deposit 480£ If I didn't call they weren't going to let me know, precious time for me, because during this time other agencies called me to view other houses, and I refused, thinking that we would be accepted. I don't understand why these lies and give useless promise why don't they tell me the reality, that you were refused and the reason why? ...as I said, very bad experience with this unprofessional and cerles Orpington agency, not serious. DON'T RECOMMEND they can let you down easily !!!
