Waste of time and money
I have never received the ring I ordered from this company. They promised they would refund me, but I have never received the refund neither. Since February I have received the last email from James, there has been no response from them at all no matter how many times I chased them. I have left no choice but to take them to court. This is such a shame.

This review is inaccurate and misleading.
We received your order on December 9th 2024 at 10.14 am. Your order was dispatched at 4.04 pm by DPD guaranteed next-day delivery, and was delivered to your address on 11th December 2024 at 10.36 am. The parcel is recorded as being received by you. The proof of delivery was sent to you.
You raised a query about your delivery stating that you had not received your parcel on the 16th of December 2024. In support of your enquiry, we raised the issue with DPD through our shipping broker, GFS. The first response was received on the 23rd of December 2024: "DPD have advised that the consignee received another delivery from them on the same day. The POD (proof of delivery) for the second delivery shows the same location and the person accepting the parcel is wearing the same clothes. As the consignee is not disputing the second delivery, DPD are unable to raise a delivery dispute for your parcel."
You did not accept the findings of this investigation, so in support of your continued claim, we requested further investigations with DPD. A response was received on 24th December 2024: "DPD have advised the other delivery was made 11/11 and as both the PODs match, this is why DPD have advised delivery is compliant and are not able to review this further."
On January 4th 2025 we received this further response: "DPD have advised that they have had the previous delivery in November for a different company, I have asked for a copy of the POD photo for you to share with your customer."
On January 10th 2025, we received this further response: "DPD have investigated this and checked previous deliveries. They have advised they have had a look at previous deliveries to this address which haven't been queried by your customer and the POD image shows the same doorway etc and a [your name] has accepted the goods. Delivery is classed as compliant and DPD are unable to provide any further information."
On the 21st of December 2024, you filed a case with PayPal, and we corresponded with you via PayPal, sharing details of the tracking and DPD's response. On the 9th of January 2025, you escalated the case to a claim with PayPal. On the 23rd of January 2025, as you had raised a claim with PayPal, we advised that cases are usually resolved within a week. However, PayPal took until the 3rd of April 2025 to fully investigate and review all of the information, eventually closing the case in our favour.
In conclusion, your parcel was delivered to you on a timely basis to the correct location, and as such we have fulfilled our obligations to you concerning this order.
I am sorry if the item is not in your possession, however, we have done everything possible to support your claim for non-delivery against the carrier and to try to help you locate it. Both DPD and PayPal have rejected your claim and have provided clear evidence to support their position.
I hope you can appreciate that we cannot be responsible for parcels once they have been correctly delivered to you or your representative.

Suspicious behaviour for a firm like this
Sarah Layton have good communication and levels of service. Ordered a Garmin Fenix watch that arrived with the tamper seal broken which was upsetting as instantly I was opening a box that wasn’t untouched. This was opened by Sarah Layton to ensure the item was present. I communicated this to Garmin who said this was highly unusual, they’d never heard of this before and that I should return the watch. I currently plan to keep the watch though I struggle to believe it is entirely new, the price was however good. I admit to asking for some money back as a consequence but was told I couldn’t and only a return was possible. Regardless, odd, perhaps suspicious behaviour from Sarah Layton. Imagine ordering a new MacBook and it arriving open because the supplier wanted to check it was packed and adding their own ineffective hairy returns seal to the device.

Dear Harri, thank you for your review. I am pleased to hear you found our communication and levels of service to be good. I also appreciate your comments regarding our returns label. As we discussed over the phone and through email, our company policy requires that all items sold, whether in-store or online (except for pierced products and sale items), have non-return labels attached. This information is also clearly stated on the returns page on our website. This policy ensures that items are returned unworn and in the same condition in which they were sent.
I understand your perspective, but it's important to note that we are a jewellery and watch retailer, not a tech retailer. The products we offer are designed to be worn, which is why they have a returns label attached in a similar way to clothing and shoe retailers. We are an authorised stockist of Garmin watches (and indeed of every brand we sell) and are members of the National Association of Jewellers. Every item we sell is brand new, and we review our prices weekly to ensure we are as competitive in the market as possible. We do not sell pre-owned or used items. There is nothing suspicious about us attaching a non-return label to the products we sell. As mentioned during our conversation, you are welcome to return the watch if you are dissatisfied with the item, the packaging, or our service. Staff are always friendly and helpful .Have bought various Georg Jensen pieces at very reasonable prices and used the ear piercing service available in store .would recommend this shop it is lovely to have an independent shop in close proximity.
