If you want to risk your precious life only select SAVAARI. They DO NOT provide professional drivers, the driver was sleeping while driving on Express Highways. From both the sides cars was going at blazing speed of 120-130 Km and my car waving between lanes. Just imagine !!
Even after this driver didn't felt the guilt and he spoked so rudely to us threw my luggage in the car and pushed my wife and said "Luggage nai milega pehle paise do". Soon a harassment police case will be filed against driver.
I booked a AC car and later the driver told AC is not working. We travelled 500 Kms with a hot Blower. Still I haven't mentioned about the extra charges and all.
Savaari Mr. Prakhar and Driver (Rohit) both are greedy, they just try to take money from you in many reasons.
Mr. Prakhar from Savaari didn't helped us in any aspects. He just gave a fake commitments. He was on call with during the entire scene. I've the recordings. He did nothing.
This is for Savaari CEO, first be sensitive and train your team and bring some professional driver instead of 'inhuman' jokers. Still Savaari is immature to do deal with Taxi business. First learn the business ethics and ethics and then do the business.
Simply ignore Savaari, they will ruin/risk your enjoyable trip.
Drivers and Saavari team cheats, they have taken advance payments and the drivers will not turn up and they pull their pants down in the last moment do not book from here.
Please be careful!!
We had booked Savaari for a 5-day trip from Gurgaon to Nainital, Almora and then back to Gurgaon. We thought we were taking a service from a very big organization and hence, quality would be assured (as your customer service call keeps highlighting). The trip was from 24th to 28th Dec!
1. The driver's details a day before were shared with us and we called the driver 5 times in the evening before to confirm. No response. Next day morning, same situation. We had to call customer care and they connected us with the driver. He just didn't bother to take our call.
3. When he reached, we went down only to find the most broken-down car ever. It was a Swift Dzire. For 13k this was not something I was expecting. Driver's name was Sudhir Daima. Throughout he drove very rashly. We kept telling him to drive carefully but he wouldn’t listen.
5. When we reached the hills, we realized the car's 2nd gear isn't working! Every time the car slowed down at each turn (the Himalayan range has a fair few), he would raise it to the 3rd gear at full speed. Upon reaching we told him to get the car checked and even paid him 2k to do the same. This led us to both my husband and I to fall sick due to motion sickness.
6. Two days later, we left for Almora and on the way we understood, the driver will drive like we were in the F1 races. If anything, we know that the hills are where you need to be the most disciplined driver. But well, overtaking randomly, increasing the speed where it shouldn't be done is no biggie for Sudhir. So well, this led to us getting another bout of motion sickness.
7. On our way from Almora, my husband put in the location on the maps and we thought best to sleep given the way he drives. After a good 2 hours, we woke up to find he had gone from Almora to almost Pithoragarh which is in the opposite direction by 25 km. In the hills, even 1km detour is a good 10min delay. We basically spent 2 hours coming back and then moving back to Nainital. To make up for the time, he was back to rash driving. Thing is, in the hills, you cannot drive fast to cover distance - the terrain just doesn't allow. But can you really explain this to Mr. Sudhir?
8. The last and possibly the best part of our experience was our way back from Nainital to Gurgaon. No one can stop Sudhir and he was driving at crazy speed somewhere before Moradabad. I was listening to music with my husband's earpods and sitting right behind the driver seat. I noticed the car moving towards what seemed like a stationery car and I was thinking he would brake. But he went at full speed and rammed into the car. Agree my reflexes didn't react immediately (because you don't really expect a person to go ram into a stagnant car) and my face hit the headrest of the driver's seat. Well, now it is swollen and has a massive bruise. I am getting a CT scan done to know if I have any internal injuries or not. Not that I expect Savaari to do anything about it. Because when the incident happened and we called up your customer care they said, wait with the car for the car to be fixed. In the middle of nowhere India we will wait for 4hours. We persuaded a nearby village mechanic to arrange for a car - all Savaari said is that, whatever the additional cost, they would cover. Thankfully, to the good graces of the people there we got a cab and made our way back home.
We don't care about the money. The point is you just lost a customer and possibly many more as I will make sure this goes every freaking place (I took a good 30min to draft my experience for you, I intend to use it very well). Why would any customer come to you? For your service? You are not doing that. The cars are not quality checked, the assigned drivers have no sense of safe driving. Also leaving your customer at the mercy of people in a strange unknown place where we have no assurance of security or help. Your customer service didn't even note down the cab number of the cab that the locals helped us to arrange. Zero customer safety!
I have booked cab for my parents ( senior citizens), for their comfort from pilibhit to faridbad. The driver has picked up the longest root rather than the shortest just to save the toll taxes ( which was already included in fare charges). The time taken for this distance should be of 5 hours and he took 9 hours. My parents suffered a lot, never book cab from sawari.
Beware before booking savaari car rentals
Dt 24-11-2020. Today I will urge everyone to be aware before using. I am a regular savaari customer but my todays experience was horrible. I booked a car with advance payment. I received car detail on time and called driver an hour before journey and informed him my destination over phone. At scheduled time I started my journey suddenly after almost 30 mns of drive in middle of road driver named Chandan, 8820588904, WB-04-G-4479. Switched off the car ac and stopped the car as said its outstation and he will not go. We was abused and was forced to get off the car. Surprisingly somebody from savaari company called me said either I have to upgrade my billing which is twice the fare they showed while booking or have to release the car rite their. And we was forced to get off in highway with family. Unprofessional and cheaters is the words suits for this cab provider. I urge everybody please be careful enough before you book your ride. On top of that whenever I tried to reach savaari customer care after listening my contact no they disconnected calls several times. Thanks to a ola driver who helped us to get a car nearby... horrible service by savaari team. Very disappointed...
We used this service on 21st February 19 for two days from Delhi airport to Agra and then from Agra to Patiala. Our driver was Surinder. He drove the car beautifully and smoothly. We were worried of the driving in India but he was very good. He picked us up on time and helped us to find a tour guide to take us around in Agra to see Taj Mahal and fort. He charged us for the petrol which I wasn’t sure whether it was included in our price but we paid as this is what we normally do in Uk. We were very happy with Surinder our driver.
Thanks 😊
Worst ever services .Don't even think about booking.Should be closed soon
The car was good and so was the driver Mr Manoj. What I want to ask is this :
I asked for a pick up from the airport at 1145 and I was with the driver at 1144. I was on time, then why do I have to pay for the airport parking ? I would be willing to pay if I am late. Why should I pay for being on time.
How can I incur charges before my appointed hire time ?
The customer service reps are bunch of cheats. They dont provide all the information required. I booked a one way trip and at the end of the trip was charged return charges too. had to pay an extra Rs1600.00. Couldnt argue as customer care wont listen. when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the customer care guy refused to transfer. Worst company to deal with.
Had I read these reviews last year, I wouldn't have booked airport hotel transfer with them. On arrival at the airport, telephoned the driver, he seemed asleep, and after telling him that we were at the airport, he put the phone down. Then he was unavailable on the phone. The office had answer machine telling us the office hours. We then hired a prepaid taxi from the airport, and then get a call from the driver once we have reached the hotel.
Improve the customer experience. There should be fixed charge from point A to B in case if it is a Airport pick up from Ahmedabad to Vadodara. Like the other service providers are doing it. As it is un- welcoming when the driver ask you money. In this case driver asked extra money for night allowance which was already paid in advance. This was enough to loose trust. This was settled after calling the customer service. I also eventually end up paying Rs 10/km for any km above 111Kms. On the internet e- map traking & google showed as 119 Kms from the point of pick up to the point of drop for the route taken by Savaari car. However car odometer showed 125kms. I paid extra Rs 140 for the extra Kms over 111Kms which is pain after hiring a taxi and making payment in advance. Also, I paid toll tax as extra although it was mentioned in the terms and conditions. Overall, I was disappointed as it was not a professional service as Savaari claimed over the internet.
very very unprofessional company
after payment they cancelled my booking, they sent me refund e mail.
when i booked with new transport company they sent me e mail they re-booked and processed the payment from my credit card without my concern.
this is criminal act
we aware and do not book with them
We are a family of 6 adults and 1 five year old kid. When we ask for a cab, we say 6(passengers)+1(driver), assuming that the kid will be on any of our laps. We had asked for an Innova and they sent a car that had 2 bucket seats in the middle. According to us, 1 person will sit at the front, next to the driver, 3 in the middle and 2 at the back. So we wanted a car with a continuous middle seat. Savaari did not even acknowledge that, they insisted that 3 people always sit at the back. We had senior citizens in our group and it got extremely uncomfortable for us throughout the trip from Delhi to Mussoorie, and back!
We let that slide. The driver was ridiculously rude and did not listen to us at all. It was as if he was the decision-maker on where to stop and what to do! Extremely annoying.
At the end of our trip, the driver demanded extra money(inspite of us having given him his daily allowance, he expected extra allowance for food and tea) and started fighting a lot! All the fun of our trip was lost due to this terrible experience with Savaari and especially the most-rude driver ever!
Booked a Cab for Nashik an return travel from Pune on savaari.com. The cab was shabby. Since it was a day trip, i got a call saying if i reach Pune post 2AM I'll have to pay extra. However we started at 10PM and The cab stopped at 11.24 PM for Ice cream, tea and smoke by driver. I caaled customer care and driver lied them hi is having dinner. I asked before starting the trip to driver to have food with us but he denied saying he will feel sleepy. All of a sudden after 1.5 hrs cab got stopped and then started at11.57 PM. Then it took hault at petrol pump by driver for fuel filling and took almost 15 mins to start the trip. Nashik Pune distance is 220KM. We started at 10 and reached at 2.57AM. So it took 5 hrs to reach pune. Cab driver was also driving with a speed of 40-50KMPH to make trip late and make money. This was unexpected and he was sleepy duribg the trip, was spitting throughout on roadside, AC was not on. He was asking to close window as it was opened by us since AC was not on. Neither he was keeping AC on nor was allowing us to open window.
This is sheer cheating with customers and such an un professional behaviour forced me to bear with cab driver and also to pay additional Rs1000 for the intentional delay of trip at the speed of 40-50 KMPH. Ideally with a speed of 60KMPH it takes 4 hours to reach. I travel frequently on this route and had not took more then 4 hrs ever.
It was shocking. Will never plan via Savaari in future. I need my Rs 1000 back as you guys cheated during travel.

First time booking with savaari.com. Booked it through online & payed the initial amount of rs500. Got the confirmation no. And next day they cancelled the booking saying they didn’t received any money. I have proof of my money being debited from ICICI bank
Absolutely pathetic . Please never book through this company . I was booked to travel from Chandigarh to Delhi and paid advance . I called an hour before the departure time and was informed that no cab is available. They promised to refund my deposit . I gad no option but to travel by bus . Please do not trust this company for your travel needs
From the moment we landed in Bangalore to meet our driver we lost any confidence in Savaari’s ability to provide the service they promised. To make the 4 day booking in the first place, Savaari were of course super quick to take my money to secure the journey. After confirming with the company days before that someone would be waiting at the airport to meet us with a name card, we arrived to no such thing. We had no idea where to begin to find the driver and after several phone calls, a great deal of walking, we found him about an hour later. During our trip, our driver appeared disorganised, unclear of our itinerary, asking us more than once where we were going and for how long. He also appeared to not know the way and occasionally got lost accumulating unnecessary kilometres.
It was difficult to communicate due to language differences however we sensed from the beginning there was an issue and this made us uneasy. The journey itself was very stressful as the driver continued to text and make calls often taking his eyes off the road even while overtaking, resulting in swerving and some near misses. He frequently made calls on loud speaker to a number that would end in a recording that stated the number was either switched off or disconnected. He called this number continually for the entirety of our journey.
Once at our first destination, we rang Savaari to tell them of our overall experience with unsafe driving being our greatest concern. They said they would discuss this with the driver and that the arrival issue at the airport was probably due to a miscommunication. In retrospect, I suspect there was no communication with the driver in the first place.
On our last day, an estimated 7 hour drive to our final destination, our driver again drove while texting, made calls to the same unanswered number and did not concentrate on his driving. We politely asked him to refrain from texting/calling while driving as we felt frightened and encouraged him to stop on the side of the road if the calls were important and work related. He apologised, however appeared agitated and unsettled. He continued to make these calls and we continually asked him to stop on the side of the road. When we enquired after his well-being he said there was no problem.
About four hours away from our final destination things rapidly deteriorate and our journey went from an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience to a nightmare and potentially dangerous one. At a major highway toll point our driver made a u-turn and stopped the car in the emergency lane and got out to make a call. After 20 minutes he came back to the car distressed, telling me to call Savaari because he hadn’t been paid for this job and he had been attempting to get in contact with the company who commissioned it, but the number was switched off (hence the constant calls from the beginning of the journey). When I rang Savaari they asked him to keep driving and assured him they would rectify this payment issue however he refused and we remained on the side of the road for over one hour. I continually called Savaari who eventually asked me to pay the driver 5000 rupee cash to finish the journey and that I would be reimbursed by the end of the journey. When I asked Savaari several times and in several different ways HOW I would be reimbursed I was continually met with ambiguous answers. Such as ‘don’t worry ma’am, we will get back to you’ or ‘don’t worry ma’am we will work it out with the driver’ or ‘ma’am we will call the local office to resolve it’. I had no confidence in these answers as there was no commitment to a solution. They even refused to pay it into my paypal account at the time. I had no choice but to give the driver money as we feared we would be left on the highway, two foreign women in an unknown country, no idea how to get around, with 3 hours left til sun down and several hours away from our destination - very, very vulnerable and worried. Our situation further deteriorated when we got to the state checkpoint where a state tax payment of 250 rupee was required to enter. Our driver was insistent we pay 2500 rupee which seemed ludicrous and excessive and did not reflect the prices on the signage. I offered to go with him to the cashier but he was very evasive and refused. I gave him the money because again we weren’t moving and it was now sunset with 2 hours left. I asked for a receipt. In the meantime Savaari did not call me back as promised to explain how I was to receive my reimbursement. While the driver was at the cashier, I rang Savaari enquiring about the state tax fee and the status of my 5000 refund. I asked them to research the state tax cost, they put me on hold stating they’ll contact the ‘local office’ (a regular response to my enquires). Be warned people there is no ‘local office’ it’s a way of buying time or calling the driver, who had left his phone in the car while paying the state tax entry fee. The operator informed me he was unable to get through to the non existent ‘local office’ and when I confronted him about this lie he was very apologetic because he was caught out (note: this was the only time a Savaari apologies). This behaviour confirmed to me that Savaari did not have the best interest of the customer in mind and was deferring to the driver every time there was a problem with the driver. Insanity!
There are so many issues with this situation that it will take too long to explain the rest. However after independently researching state entry tax it was evident it only cost 250. After viewing the driver’s receipt we realised we were being made to pay a 2000 rupee fine because the car was not registered to go across state. We emailed a photo of the receipt to Savaari and they held the position that this was a normal cost to the customer and that the word ‘fine’ meant tax (seriously!). Either Savaari is very ill informed which would be surprising considering what they represent or they think all customers are stupid.
With one hour before our arrival, several phone calls to Savaari, being hung up on, placed on hold, spoken to rudely, spoken over, not having my questions answered, being evasive, being lied to, hearing the call centre say to the driver ‘the customer is complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining, complaining’, wouldn’t you complain if you were practically held at ransom to pay 7225 rupee for the total incompetence of Savaari and their terribly appalling management of the situation? Once at our destination and with the pressure of the hotel manager who was aware of our predicament before we arrived because we emailed him the receipt and explained what happened, we got our 2250 back (minus 250 state tax) by refusing to get out of the car and from pressure from the hotel manager and other taxi drivers.Savaari eventually agreed to pay the 5000 into my account a few days later. Savaari told me ‘we are a reputable company ma’am’, ABSOLUTE BS, you exploit both your drivers and your customers and you were incredibly uncooperative, and showed no concern for our safety from the moment we did a u-turn on the highway. My recommendation is NEVER EVER use this poor excuse of a ‘reputable’ company. The reviews say it all!
I will not recommend and will book any further trips with Savaari.com.
You services were not up to the mark. This is the worst experience I ever had on a trip. We faced many issue with the drive as well as cab. To start with the cockroaches in the cab, we found many cockroaches in the cab. The driver did not maintain hygiene, to resolve this there was no air freshener in the cab. He did not switch on the AC when requested and told us that it is not functional. As soon as we called the customer care he started the AC which seems suspicious as it was not working before and only worked when we called customer care. He refused to turn the AC on in the evening making an argument that he is sleepy. We did not make him drive the previous night. You should provide him night stay facilities so that he could switch on the AC. As we booked an AC cab for utilizing those services but we were unable to use it properly.
Then He refused to take the cab to our hotel. We had to walk for 1 km with all our luggage.Although there were other cars parked near our hotel. He did not even try to take the cab to our hotel.
He parked the cab really far from our hotel and at first refused to drive it to a pre-decided location. As we was parked in a huge parking we were unable to locate him so we called him to take us to the cab where it is parked. Then he decided to come along with the cab which he refused to do before. This behavior seems really unprofessional on your behalf. The driver should be able to manage all these small issues.
We informed him a day before the time we had to leave the next day.
But he did not pick up the phone in the morning. Which delayed the trip by 1.5 hours. To resolve this issue as well we had to call customer care.
Throughout the trip he did not know the route and was not using his own phone to route the path.
We had to provide him our phone for tracking the route for 9 hours journey
He was also attending personal calls on speaker which is not professional
We make an advance booking at you website so that you can make appropriate arrangements for us
He charged us 5500 for fuel but he only filled the tank with 4500 bur he gave us the receipt for 5500, it means the journey is not that much costly as you are posting charges on your website.
But unfortunately we were not provided with all the services that we paid for. The trip was really stressful because of the unprofessional behavior of the driver and poor cab conditions.
As well as they created some confusion for invoice also, i have noted the KMs from where we have started and as per my reading from the cab's odometer we have covered 115 km extra from the package and in an invoice we got 134 KM , This is totally cheating.
this was not worth the money we paid
