Beautiful display of Sofa's..The gentleman who assisted myself had a nice manner and very important no pressure from him..His name is Phillip...at Middlebrook, Bolton..he was very patient with me helped me choose the colour I wanted.

I don’t normally leave reviews but on this occasion I will. We bought our last sofa from SCS and were very happy with it so returned for a new sofa years later. We visited twice as we didn’t want to rush into buying one. The first visit, we had a lovely man called Josh helping us. We wasn’t rushed, he wasn’t pushy and he had a lot of time for us. We found a sofa we really liked and came back the weekend after. This weekend, we had Mandy helping us. She too had a lot of time for us as we were unsure on what colour and fabric to go for. We eventually decided and are looking forward to our new purchase.

Greated by Phil who explained how to understand the information on each sofa. Left to browse and try different sofas at our leisure without being followed around by sales people. Once we had decided on the sofas we wanted, everyting was talked through with no pressure to purchase additional extras. All in all Phil was very polite and proffesional.

Natalie was so lovely to deal with, nothing was too much trouble for her as we debated which sofa to have. The whole process was made so easy for us, and we look forward to receiving our sofa in the near future.

We were greeted with Chao and were given a resume of what the labels on the furniture related to and where left to peruse the store without being hassled. We eventually found what was suitable and Philip the Salesperson completed the sale.

Received sofa 6 weeks late, wrong measurements on the sofa doesn’t look right. The correct measurements were given to the salesman. We explained we need it a certain way our living room is a bit of a weird setting. The salesman got it wrong even though going over it over and over again.

Now the customer service said it’s not their fault. The after sales is appalling here! Before the sale they seemed like genuine good people. These people are the worst kind you will ever come across. Really bad service, only in it for the money. The company is refusing to do anything. The quality of the sofa also looks different to the one in store.

When ordering my new chair everything was processed perfectly. I don't expect to receive further updates until nearer the delivery date, approximately 8 weeks.

We were met as we came into the shop , he was very knowledgeable and was a great help , we looked round and found one we liked but we didn't want recliners but he said we could have any either original or recliner , any colour, he was a lovely helpful man , a credit to your company

Brand-new recliner swivel chair with multiple faults. The arm is loose and creaks, the charging plug for the battery pack does not fit correctly, and the leather around the control panel is creased. The salesman strongly pushed an extended warranty at the time of purchase, which now raises concerns given the condition of the item.

The system directs customers to make a warranty claim, despite the product being new and requiring replacement or refund. I have had to chase this issue multiple times and have not received any response. Customer service is terrible, and supplying a faulty item without properly resolving the issue is unacceptable.

I was not aware of the company’s poor reputation until looking online after the purchase. The service before buying was welcoming and attentive, but this has not been the case since the issue arose, with no meaningful support provided.

We had a good look round were given advise about measurements . We left went home to discuss and retuned a few days later and purchased .

Seems like SCS have rebranded. Hard to say if that’s because of their poor customer service, a sales team that says anything to dodge responsibility.

The salesman treated the whole thing like a comedy act—jokes every five minutes, nothing taken seriously. Didn’t inspire much confidence, and it showed in the outcome.

Overall, it felt like the priority was making the sale rather than looking after the customer afterward. We won’t be using SCS—whatever name they’re trading under now—again, and we’d strongly advise others to think twice before buying from them.

Poor customer service, very bad quality sofas.
Don’t waste your money or time. This company is scamming innocent people selling them cheap tacky sofas that are not fit for purpose. Within 3 weeks of purchase my sofa developed faulted spent £3400 and nothing gets resolved.

After sales is terrible- the whole company just be nice for a sale then once your locked in nothing can help you not even the warranty.
