The gentleman who dealt with our purchase was helpful and not pushy as some are. We were left to browse and not bothered. Everything went smoothly and I am now looking forward to my new furniture.

Purchased a sofa in store…staff were very helpful and polite. So much choice on fabric and leather. We did wait a while (16 weeks) but it was worth the wait and it was custom made. We were kept up to date with delivery date and slot. Delivery drivers built the sofa up in my home took all packaging away (which is a bonus) and were polite. The sofa exceeded my expectations and looks so luxurious. I did have a bad experience with a previous order over 15 years ago and decided to take the chance and I’m glad I did. I do believe SCS has been taken over by a new company.

Could not ask for anything more got a call that they could deliver my softer as there was a an early spot for delivery they came a 8am I had everything ready for them to get the softer in to the house they put it in the sitting room and put it together and we’re gonna by 8 30 am thank you very much delivery men

Visited the store at Renny Lane, Durham.
Greeted by staff who explained about the sofas, materials and features. We were left to look around and try the sofas, but help on hand when we needed it. Great choice of furniture with so many materials and colours to choose from. We asked for measurements for a few sofas we liked so we could measure at home.
We returned the following day and chose the sofa we wanted. The store manager, Gill and salesman Terry were amazing, patient, helpful and very friendly. Paperwork filled in and sofa ordered.

Well from the first arival at Poltrone SCS great welcome and support in locating choosing and agreeing purchace very helpful staff. Updates by text and email and delivery updates and time very efficient early morning delivery over all great experience 👍 was in this week buying an occasional chair for bedroom and again great service 👍

Staff gave us brief overview of leather/ cloth availability and left us to browse without being intrusive.

Jen was pleasant (as were all staff) knowledgeable and took time to explain all the different fabrics and sofas. I felt valued as a customer. She is a credit to your company and I would highly recommend this store.
