We had shopped around for a while before visiting the White City Store. There were plenty of styles to choose from and the sales rep Paula was extremely helpful when we explained what we were looking for. At no time was there any pushy sales pitch which was a refreshing change. The sofa we chose finally arrived three months later, but it was worth the wait as we are really pleased with it. The only reason I’ve given four stars was due the attitude of the delivery team. I’d cleared the area the sofa was going to as well as the hallway. Only to be told quite curtly I needed to unplug the plug in air freshener in the hall. There was very little further interaction at all. I’d have thought any customer facing role would involve better communication skills whilst visiting a property.

The welcome as you entered the store. The member of staff was knowledgeable about the products, attentive without being pushy.

Helpful and welcoming

We dealt with Paula who listened to what we wanted and showed us just the right thing. Even though me and my husband had different preferences she found us something that suited both our tastes. She was friendly and helpful and made our shopping experience much more enjoyable.

Hannah at the Manchester store was very helpful, gave advice when asked, but did not hover. We ordered a sofa bed and a two seater reclining sofa. Both looked good quality and were very comfortable. I'm looking forward to them being delivered.

Delivery date was flexible as we needed it. Delivery guys were in an out in no time and left no mess behind. Great service

, and allowed us to shop without pressure. We were guided to make the right choice of chairs for our needs and age.we are extremely grateful for the shopping experience.
However, I would have liked Poltronesofa to have offered to provide a printed invoice of our order either at the point of sale or by post together with the special insurance protection cover taken out as I am not easily able to “ do tech” at my age as an OAP.

arrived on time and got straight on installing the suite. No problems - well, I discovered a broken doorknob after they'd gone but they may well have been unaware anything had happened and I needed new ones anyway. Suite looks good and I am delighted. Thank you.

The worst customer service experience I have ever had. The sofas themselves are not too bad, but the way this company treats you after you have paid your deposit is simply not worth the hassle.

Communication and support after purchase have been extremely disappointing, and the overall experience has left me very frustrated. Based on my experience, I would avoid buying from this company and would not recommend them to others.

We were helped by Paula at WhiteCity Manchester - she was genuine, friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy! I loved the amount of materials you could chose from and the quality of the actual sofas - the prices were much more reasonable than expected - especially for made to order!

Staff assisted us when we asked for help and left us to discuss privately when needed. Also the process of actually purchasing the sofa, the staff were a great help keeping it a very simple process and wasn't pushy with protection. Explained delivery no issues. ( sorry I can't remember the assistants name lovely lady knew her stuff, White City Mcr)

Incorrect furniture delivered. I paid a deposit of over £1,100 on the 3rd April and the balance was paid on the 10th July. Our old suite was disposed of on the 21st July, the day before the new suite was delivered. It was not what was ordered and Poltronesofa agreed to collect it on the 5th August. I was assured that they would be in touch within a couple of days of collecting the unsatisfactory furniture to process a full refund. As of today, 13 days after it was taken away I have heard nothing. I have no suite and they still have my money. In the meantime my wife and I are sitting on garden chairs as we wait for the refund to buy a replacement suite. We are pensioners, quite dreadful experience.

From viewing and buying my sofas everyone was helpful. I liked the fact that I was texted the night and in the day confirming delivery slot. The guys delivering were polite and punctual thank you to everyone
