The two settles we were expecting to be delivered today weren't on the delivery van .All we got was a leather care kit We have been in touch with SCS store in York and the settees are still in their premises.
Since writing the above review we later found that SCS staff at York did their utmost to deliver the goods within 2 days to our satisfaction. This does not, of course, bring back the time & effort in making our rearrangements, but we are therefore content to change the review upwards to 3 stars. Thank you Peter & Barbara DEAN

Kept well informed and up-to-date on the delivery of my sofa. Arrived exactly when they said and the tracker was very helpful. Polite and helpful.

There was good communication before the delivery. The delivery men turned up on time and were very pleasant and helpful. The sofa was put in place and all packaging cleared away

The delivery was great, the men were polite and efficient. Unfortunately the new soda has a flaw or stain so let’s see how the SCS resolution process plays out. Fingers crossed!

Excellent service by two very pleasant lads who quickly sited, assembled and tested the two recliner chairs. We received several contact emails and phone calls indicating delivery time slots which were extremely useful and delivery was on time.

Searching for the perfect chairs in our choice of design and colour could have been daunting but ScS was heaven!
We were greeted by the salesman Wayne in the Clifton Moor outlet. He was informative and helpful and gave us space to look and think. He demonstrated the functions of the riser chairs and showed us a variety which answered our requirements. The choice of fabrics seemed limitless and we found the perfect design of super comfortable chair and colour and texture of fabric. This is what shopping should feel like!

We had our new furniture delivered recently and the settee only had three feet (bad quality control) but the delivery drivers made a makeshift foot so we had a settee for Christmas. I would give the two lads 10 stars if I could. They were a great advert for customer service.

Quick easy delivery. The crew left a voicemail and txt message to give an update on the expected delivery time. Arrived at the expected time and got straight on with the delivery. They were friendly, cheerful and polite.

The end to end experience with SCS was very good. We used our local store in York and the staff were patient, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our sofa was easily ordered and arrived exactly as per the predicted date. On delivery the two staff were amazing (and we live in a second floor flat) and unphased, which makes a change. My only suggestion would be that SCS allow for samples to be taken home or some sort of system to order fabric samples to your home address (even if they have to be paid for). Our sofa fits the space perfectly and the extra options like the ottoman storage and the integral footstool make a huge difference.

Both delivery men were very efficient and engaged in conversation while getting the job done. Tested the electrics on the sofa and made sure we were happy before they left.

The delivery men arrived and immediately said, we'll never get these sofas in, you'll have to move the fish tank we have at the bottom of our hall, they suggested that they take the sofas back and return in two weeks when the tank was removed. They were here for approximately 20 minutes, my husband told them to leave in the hall and we got our son and grandson round. They got the sofas in without moving the fish tank. We paid nearly £2,500 but did not get the service we expected

The 3 guys who came were brilliant, happy and chatty, and got the sofa put together in minutes. They called to say they were on their way and turned up exactly on rime. A real credit to SCS. Thanks for a smooth delivery.

It was our first time buying a sofa from scs at York we received excellent service from Lee he was very helpful and made us very comfortable with the choice we made buying our new sofa and high riser chair

We were greeted by a very friendly guy called Lee who told us all about the sofas we were wanting to know about he then left us alone to walk around the store at our leisure when we decided on a sofa he was so helpful and went through everything with us at ease can't wait to get my sofa now !
