Scam Alert! Beware of this website!
I want to bring your attention to a fraudulent website that I recently encountered while attempting to apply for a check cashing system for my retail business. The website in question, called "Secure Check Cashing," turned out to be a complete scam. Here's what happened:
After expressing interest in their services, I was contacted by an individual named Andy Lewandowski. We discussed the details of the check cashing system, and he subsequently sent me some paperwork to complete. Trusting the process, I filled out the forms and provided my ACH payment details as requested.
However, once I submitted the documents and payment information, Andy suddenly stopped responding to my emails. Concerned about the status of my application, I reached out to him repeatedly, inquiring if he had received my documents via fax. Unfortunately, he never replied.
To make matters worse, Andy also requested a voided check from me, which now leads me to believe that my personal and banking information could be exploited for unauthorized purposes. I shared sensitive company information along with my bank details, making me incredibly worried about the potential consequences.
In my last email, I informed Andy that I planned to contact my bank to halt any ACH payments and report his fraudulent activities. In response, he simply stated that my application was closed, accompanied by a message that was completely incomprehensible.
This entire experience has undoubtedly confirmed that the website, "Secure Check Cashing," is indeed a scam. It's important to exercise caution and stay away from such fraudulent websites. It's worth noting that I couldn't find any information about their legitimacy on any relevant platforms where I could report their business.
Please be vigilant and protect yourself from falling victim to these types of scams. If you come across "Secure Check Cashing" or any similar websites, it's crucial to avoid them at all costs. Together, let's ensure our safety and keep others informed about this fraudulent operation.
