Refusing to refund 19 year old in his first year of business...
I was a former whitelabel customer of Sendspark, the software was not working for me so I decided to cancel my plan. Little did I know was actually only downgrading my plan... I then realised this months later after seeing $249/month coming out of my account. I then tried to cancel again and ended up downgrading, so then months later i saw $50/month had been coming out of my account
I then spoke with Dan from Sendspark who said he could not give me a refund to the T&Cs that Sendspark has.
1. Dan could see I had not used Send spark over the past months
2. Dan could see I was paying for it monthly but not using it
If a 19 year old business owner in his first year of business was accidentally paying for your subscription, would you notify him to let him know its charging him and would you let him have at least a partial refund?
I will never do this to anyone in business, especially young entrepreneurs starting out.
And to top all of that off I didn't convert anything from using the software hahaha.

Happy customer
We first tried Sendspark more than a year ago and the experience was great, but our product didn't take off.
Now here we are again.
Dan onboarded us and was very helpful. On the product side, everything went smoothly as well!
The outreach tool that quietly changed how we communicate
I did not expect a video messaging tool to meaningfully change how we talk to customers, but SendSpark ended up doing exactly that.
We originally tried it just to add a bit more personality to outreach. What we found instead was a faster, clearer way to communicate things that would normally take paragraphs of text. A quick video removes confusion, builds trust faster, and feels far more human than another polished email template.
What surprised me most is how SendSpark makes personalization actually practical. Recording once and letting the platform handle personalized touches across recipients sounds gimmicky until you see responses come back that clearly show people felt the message was meant for them. That is rare in modern outreach.
The setup was straightforward, the interface stays out of your way, and it fits naturally into existing workflows instead of forcing you to change how you work. Tracking who watched and when also gives useful context without feeling intrusive.
It is not about sending more messages. It is about making the messages you already send land better. We have seen stronger engagement, better replies, and smoother conversations just from adding short videos where text used to be.
If your communication matters and you want it to feel human without becoming time consuming, SendSpark ends up being one of those tools you keep using once you start.
Absolutely worth a look!
If your team is still relying on text-only outreach, Sendspark is absolutely worth a look. It can save hours of manual work and drive better engagement from prospects. I like that it's easy to use and quick for teams to adopt. It's a smart way to make outreach feel more human and less transactional.
This tool kinda changed how I do outreach
I was skeptical at first — do I really need another sales tool? But Sendspark got me. The whole concept of recording one video and letting AI personalize it for every prospect is genuinely clever. Got it set up in like an hour, no headaches.
The personalized thumbnails are lowkey one of the best features — people actually click because it feels like it was made just for them. My reply rates went up pretty noticeably after switching to video, which is all I needed to know. It also plugs right into my existing email sequences so I didn't have to change anything about how I work.
The landing pages with built-in calendar booking are a nice touch too — less friction for the prospect, more meetings for me. Analytics are clean and tell you exactly who watched and how much.
Had a question for support once and they got back to me fast. If you're doing cold outreach and still sending plain text emails, honestly, just try this.
CEO was available
Didn't really understand how to launch my first campaign and the CEO himself jumped on a call to get me setup. Turns out it wasn't the platform just me. Have used it now for outbound and product update videos and couldn't be happier, saves me so much time, even if it was a bit tricky to train an Aussie accent to start with.
We scaled personalized video without burning out our SDR team
We’d been trying to figure out how to make outbound feel less… spray and pray. Our SDR team was already sending videos, which worked, but recording a brand-new video for every single prospect just wasn’t sustainable.
I was shocked by how real the AI personalization feels. You record one strong core video, and it dynamically personalizes it for each prospect. It says their name, pulls in their website, and genuinely looks like you recorded it just for them. It doesn’t feel robotic or stitched together.
Once we rolled it out across email and LinkedIn, we saw a 36% lift in conversion rates. Actual replies. Prospects reference the video. They comment on the site background. It immediately shifts the conversation to “okay, I’ll engage.”
From an ops perspective, it slotted right into our existing stack without any headaches. (HubSpot | Instantly| HeyReach) The team adopted it quickly.
If you’re running outbound at any real volume and still relying on text-only emails, you’re leaving engagement on the table. This was one of those small shifts that made a measurable difference for us.
I’ve been using Send-spark and it’s…
I’ve been using Send-spark and it’s been a game changer for my outreach. Being able to record quick videos instead of sending another long email has noticeably increased my response rates. It’s easy to use and the videos look professional. It feels more human which is what’s most important to me. It makes it feel less transactional. Definitely worth it if you want to stand out in crowded inboxes.
Avoid This Company At ALL Costs!
I rarely ever leave reviews, but I had to so I could potentially save someone the time, energy and money.
Avoid this company.
Sendspark sounds great on paper but the technology simply is not there. The software performs terribly and did not work as promised, even when I followed their recommended guidelines exactly. Then they tried to blame me for it.
Worse, their business practices are misleading. Key limitations are deliberately hidden on their website and at checkout. You only discover the truth after you have paid.
I requested a refund within 48 hours, having used almost none of my subscription. They refused outright and kept my money for a product that does not do what they claim.
There is no free trial. That is intentional. They know if people could test this junk first, nobody would buy it.
Looking at other reviews online, this is a pattern, not a one off. Take your money elsewhere. Even if the product improves, the way they treat customers makes them impossible to trust.

No customer support for there mistakes, and no refunds
The main recordings using the web browsers had a known issue affecting users, its was within the first week of membership for a year. The support staff told me it was an issue and they updated last friday. I wish they would keep users updated prior to filming so we have a change of saving our work.

Extremely frustrating experience
Extremely frustrating experience. I record online screen videos and on average, 1 out of 2 videos is lost due to upload errors.
The biggest issue is that videos don’t upload automatically, and after spending up to an hour recording, I often find out the video is simply gone. Error messages, failed uploads, no clear recovery.
This tool is not reliable for serious work. Losing recorded videos repeatedly is unacceptable.

Awful customer service and no refunds after dissatisfaction on first day!
Awful customer support. No trial and when I signed up and wanted to cancel the same day they would not refund me. They are desperate for new users because their competitors have more credits for a lower priced plans and do have trials. Just from their conditions and no guarantees or refunds I do not recommend even trying out the tool!

Good for Dynamic videos.
For EU customers, they don´t have any support coverage. You only get answers from 3-4pm onwards.
It is not possible to cancel subscription from the self service. Have to reach out to their support for that.
Constant issues with the videos - the LinkedIn background scrolling does not work all the time so took lots of manual work in order to fully utilize the tool.
In general, it is a good tool for AI Videos. Prospecting with Sendspark will take time (not fully automatic as you would think)

SendSpark's Ethical Business Issues
**Sendspark Lifetime Deal Review: A Masterclass in Broken Promises**
To anyone considering a lifetime deal with Sendspark, here’s what you need to know: promises made are not promises kept. The hallmark phrase across their offer—“All future Pro (Tier 1) or Business (Tier 2) Plan updates”—is little more than marketing sleight of hand. In reality, “all” does not mean all. It means “some,” “sometimes,” or “only when convenient.”
Sendspark, like a number of other SaaS companies peddling so-called lifetime deals, has failed to honor the very terms that convinced early investors to hand over their support and hard-earned cash.
When pressed on missing plan features, the founder flat-out admitted that Sendspark won’t honor their agreement because “features that cost us money to deliver that were not originally budgeted in the lifetime deal (like AI credits).”
Translation: if they didn’t plan well, so it’s the customer’s problem.
Here’s the bottom line: you can sign up, comply with the refund window and activation deadlines, patiently tolerate buggy features, and invest in a company’s early development phase—only to discover that, once profitable, Sendspark simply rewrites the rules. Plans like the Business (Tier 2) tier do not deliver all updates as advertised. If dynamic video minutes or other high-value features were part of the deal you purchased, too bad. Apparently, these were never included “in spirit,” even as the face of the deal said the exact opposite.
If they didn't want to honor it or couldn't, simply change your Tiers.
Even worse, you’ll find nothing but excuses, legalese, and shifting goalposts if you seek help. Their message is clear: “You get what we say you get, when we feel like it, regardless of what the deal terms describe.” Transparency? Integrity? Not here.
The definition of “all plan updates” is not open to wild, self-interested interpretation. All means ALL. It doesn’t mean “when it’s convenient for us,” or “unless we made a bad business decision,” or “not when it costs us.” If the deal terms don’t mean what they say, they’re not terms at all—they’re bait.
If you value the agreements you make and expect others to do the same, steer clear of Sendspark’s lifetime deals. Until they decide to honor the very promises that got them off the ground, they deserve consumer skepticism and criticism.
If a company realizes that honoring its original Lifetime Deal terms is unsustainable, the **responsible and ethical choice** is clear:
- **Communicate honestly:** Acknowledge the shortfall openly. Don’t hide behind vague language or legal loopholes—transparency builds trust, even if the news is disappointing.
- **Offer alternatives:** Introduce new tiers that reflect what’s actually sustainable. For existing early investors, provide genuine value—a meaningful upgrade, free credits, exclusive features, or a partial refund. Show you appreciate the risk those customers took when your product was brand new and unproven.
- **Make amends, not excuses:** The worst response is to ignore or minimize the breach of trust. A “take it or leave it” approach signals contempt for your earliest supporters.
People understand that startups evolve and circumstances change. What’s non-negotiable is respect for customers—especially those who invested first, stood by during the buggy beta days, and helped get the business off the ground. When products outgrow their old promises, honoring the spirit of the deal—and showing appreciation for early adopters—is the only way to grow a loyal customer base and reputation.

wasnt for me, but great product with good support
I purchased a subscription for sendspark thinking there was more personalization capabilities. However, currently there is only support for First Name. Fortunately, after i reached out to support they issued a refund immediately. Definitely respect and appreciate how quick they responded compared to many other solutions these days.
Great Loom alternative
We've been using them over Loom for a while now and we get far more engagement than before, so we're happy with the switch! Highly recommend
Overall great product and great company to work with!
Great product overall - Exactly what I was looking for! I was previously using Loom, but their AI is way behind what Sendspark has. Sending customized video's at scale is priceless!
Customer Service/Support - Spot on! They always get back to me in a reasonable timeframe and solve any issues I have. If it's too tedious for chat, they are willing to schedule a 1-on-1 zoom screenshare session to resolve it (shout out and big thanks to Dan Delauretis in Tech Support).
Instantly Email interface - Started using the email interface feature yesterday and my campaign ran just as advertised. All dynamic videos processed through seamlessly.
Looking forward to using more features and seeing the new releases as the platform grows. I will be bringing other team members to the platform so we can all reap the benefits of customized dynamic videos!
