This is the worst company
This is the worst company. They charge $25 to ship, and $25 to return. They only give you a free return shipping if you have a defective product. They will give you an egift card, so that you have to buy more products but don't have to pay shipping for the return, but will pay shipping again on new purchase. In today's market place, there are so many places other than sharper image to buy and EASILY return unwanted items. They do not make clear their return policies. I purchased a leather bag that looked like plastic. This is a scam company.
Faulty item return was refused
Last Christmas (2023), I bought my mother an expensive infrared heating pad, According to the website: “ FIR heat penetrates 3'' deep into muscles and bones. Ideal for arthritis, joint pain, and sports injuries.” My mom is in constant pain from numerous surgeries. She tried the heating pad - once - and it never came even close to being warm and she said it was like just like laying on a rag. She didn’t feel any relief. In fact, she didn’t feel anything at all. The website states,”If you are not satisfied with your purchase within 60 days, you can return it for a replacement or a refund. Returned products must be in a new, unused condition…” That’s the catch. When I tried to return it because it clearly did not work, Sharper Image would not allow a return because it was “used”. How do you know if something works or not if you don’t use it? What a colossal waste of money.

Deals and discounts are total bogus. For example, free shipping isn't free but rather a rewards credit. Complementary Gift card is indeed a gift card. Neither can be combined with each other, nor can they be combined with discount code for say, "Cyber Monday." So, in essence, they are useless even though they say they can be used on "ANY PURCHASE!" They got my money this time on their overpriced merchandise but never again.
BUYER BEWARE
I ordered 4 items, rec’d no problem, I ordered 1 new item because I had a cash back. The catalog said the item cost $79.99 minus $29.95 cash back, free shipping rebate $15.95 should leave a balance $34.09. They charged my cc $91.37. I called them, no response, I emailed them at their customer service link, no response.THEN I GET AN EMAIL SAYING THE ITEM HAS BEEN SHIPPED! No one ships over night. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE-SCAM OUTFIT!!!!!!!!
Horrendous Customer Service
Wish I had read these reviews prior to ordering. I ordered 1 each of 2 different products but didn’t think the order went through so I inadvertently ordered 2 more of 1 and 3 of another. Tried to return online, it states mailing label sent to email but never receive. Have talked with customer service twice and each time they insist they sent return labels to my email but never receive. I’m 66 and this is is the worse company and customer service I have ever encountered. Will never order from Sharper Image again. I guess I’m stuck with $300 of duplicate products!

infrared heating pad is completely contrary to what they advertise. It states the heating pad will shut off automatically after one hour. If it would stay on for more than 15 minutes it would seem like a miracle. This is the second one I purchased. The other one worked well but quit after 2 yrs. In order to return it they require the customer pay shipping. After paying $50 for a heating pad that doesn't work, I shouldn't have to pay return shipping. I am not surprised this company has such low ratings and has gone bankrupt.

I looked at some heated slippers for my husband for Christmas, who needs nothing but likes gadgets. Thinking I had just stored them in the cart, I kept shopping elsewhere and forgot about them. When in reality I had purchased them but didn't notice until months later when I saw the charge. The slippers never arrived. I called CS and was told I had to provide an invoice. (Really-they have no records of sales?). Eventually I found the email and sent it in. I was told it was too late for a refund, but was offered a $25 certificate. All for a $150 purchase I made and received nothing. I tried numerous times to get a refund to no avail. Why on earth would I shop with them again? Steer clear on this place.
Ionic Comfort Quadra Poor Product & Poor CustomerService
Purchased an Ionic Comfort Quadra just over 2 yrs ago; went to remove the guts from housing and black handle broke 5/15/2024. Called Customer service, spoke with Logan who stated that the warranty for this expired 1/21/2024. His response was to send a replacement for same with 20% discount which is written on every catalog they send with free shipping. This is unacceptable as this item cost $379.99 2 years ago & Sharper Image is NOT standing behind their product. Sharper Image used to have a good reputation many years ago; currently they are POOR with equally POOR customer service. DO NOT purchase this product; it was a very expensive mistake. Sharper Image's decision is unconscionable & unacceptable given the cost of the item that can NO LONGER be used.
Soothing sounds to relax you
Ordered their sound soother, as I need to hear something relaxing so I sleep well. The controls are simple. I love that there are 20 sounds to choose from: rain forest, surf, thunderstorms. I like to switch it up. I'm sleeping deeper for longer & waking up ready to go. Wish I'd have bought this years ago!

This company should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, I did not see the review before ordering. I will never order from this company again and hope someone files a class action lawsuit against them.

Never ever buy anything from this company! Got a weighted heated massaging pad as a gift. I have no box or receipt. Two months later it totally goes dead. I then called Sharper Image and they say its not their product and they give me another phone number and the person there says it not their product either. I get another number that is spoofed and out of service. Wow what great service! Not!

I can not recommend this company nor will I purchase from them again. They mislead you on free shipping. It is not free. They give you a voucher for future use. I bought a $119.00 item and my refund after my return was for $98.00. I lost over $50.00. This is unconscionable. I am so disappointed.
Customer service reps don't know what they are doing
i ordered a seat cushion thinking it was gel based. You had to blow it up. I had used my $69 rewards card as part of the payment to purchase it. I promptly returned the cushion and did not get the $69 rewards credit back. First customer service rep told me it was a cash back reward and it would be applied to my credit card. It wasn't. Second customer rep told me he would reissue the $69 . It didn't work when I tried to reorder a gel based chair cushion. 3rd rep told me that the $69 reward was just lost. I would have kept the air cushion and just resold it on my own had I known. Would never order from this company again. Told them to remove me from the catalog list. Used to be such a good company but it has went downhill fast.

Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible! A mistake was made on shipping address and I immediately called to correct the mistake. Spent 4 hours on hold, asked for a retun call 3 times, and sent an email. NOTHING! The next morning I got someone on the phone and they told me it was confirmed for shipment and there’s nothing he can do! I will never order anything from them again as they do not have customer service support.

Do not order from Sharper Image. I place an order for a Video Camera Bird Feeder and a Night Vision Binocular. The 1 item didn't generate an order number while the other one did. Fedex was to deliver the 1 item, but it didn't show up. I called SI - they are suppose to send another item to a FedEx store for me to pick up, but so far I haven't received a tracking # for it (7 days ago). The other item didn't generate an order #, but I was charged via PayPal. The customer service rep said that she couldn't do anything about that item as it isn't showing up as ordered in the system - but she did offer to give me 20% off + free shipping if I would order it AGAIN wit her. I filed a claim via PayPal. SI says it was delivered and PayPal has closed the case. This item wasn't ordered, wasn't supposedly delivered. I'll pursue getting my money back for the 1 item and hopefully a replacement for the other, but it's turned into a nightmare. I'll stick with Amazon and local stores from now on. It's quite disappointing. I use to love SI in the day.
Very Dissappointed with Sharper Image
The product, a gift, was expensive, cheaply made, and did not fit together very well. Never used it, mounted it, or removed all from the box. It went right back immediately. They will not refund via original payment, but offer only a "gift certificate" which is unwanted. In other words, once they have your money, goodbye Jack! $100+ gone. Merry Christmas. Who does this?

Do not buy their towel warmer! It had to be replaced 3 times and on the 3rd time, we opted for a refund based on the shoddy product with their brand on it, and they refused to refund our money.
Bought the misting fan
Bought the misting fan. What a piece of junk. No mist and a hand held fan gives off more air. They charged me $70 to ship back and restocking fee. This was the second item I bought from them that didn’t work. All their products are GARBAGE!
