Do not order from sharper image
Please don’t order from this company. They are no longer the same one we older folks remember. Service is non existent. They don’t honor returns. In fact, they haven’t checked this site in over 12 months but keep posting because now when you Google them this will cone up first and warn other people.
Their products are shoddy so don’t waste your time.
Awful experience
Ordered a Christmas gift on Dec 11,2020 (in the year of shipping disaters). Waited weeks knowing shipping was a mess. Called 1/3/21. Was told that FedEx delivered it to the wrong address and it was sent back to the distribution center. They could not explain why I was not notified, it was not immediately sent back out to me or refunded. I was told they would reship it and it would arrive in 1 to 2 weeks. On 1/25 still no package. Called back. It was never sent out nor was anything written in the computer. Melissa in customer service kept talking over me and implying that because I did not know the name of who I spoke with that it didn't happen. I canceled the order and not trusting them to follow through on the refund (given their track record) disputed my PayPal payment too. The degree if incompetence displayed was unbelievable. Save the aggravation and order from people who know what they are doing.
Don't buy from this website
I bought a blanket as a gift for someone. This was back in early or mid December.
I received an email confirmation stating I would receive another email with a tracking number when the item is shipped.
2 weeks later, still no email, no tracking number, no merchandise.
All email and phone calls to their 888 number went unanswered.
1-2 days after I filed a dispute with my credit card company (so I could get a refund), I got a reply from Sharper Image for the email I sent weeks earlier inquiring about the package.
They sent me a FedEx tracking number indicating the package was delivered.
I then told them that I don't know where it was delivered to but I didn't receive it.
I also told them that FedEx never contacted me about any delivery.
Long story short. They said they could not and would not issue me a refund. That they would look into it and maybe in 7-8 business day send me a replacement.
They said they will not send any tracking number for the replacement either.
Long story short.
I paid $145 for a blanket I never received.
No follow up email, no FedEx tracking number given. All email & phone calls to Sharper Image went unanswered.
More than a month later, after filing a dispute, I finally heard from them.
This time they told me they would send a replacement in 7-8 or more days, without a FedEx tracking number.
What if I don't like the merchandise and want a refund? What a joke.

I will never order from this company again
I received 2 items from this company for Christmas. One was purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond. It was a hand sanitizer and it did not work. I returned it for a refund. The other item was purchased directly from this store's website. It was the Streadi Pedi, a non returnable item. It was scratched all over the inside, the light did not work, and it was missing an item. Because it is non returnable, I couldn't deal with this online. I tried to call customer service 4 different times but couldn't reach them due to the extended wait time. Today I called at 9:10 am. They open at 9 am. I waited on hold for 30 minutes before an agent answered. She was nice and offered to send out another Steadi Pedi but the wait time every time I called was too long, which is unacceptable. Because both items that I received were defective and the extended wait time, I am giving this a 1 star review. I will never buy from them again.

DO NOT NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a full body pillow for $119. When the pillow arrived I was very disappointed with the quality of the item. I immediately packed it back up, went marching to the post office and shipped it right back to the company. Expecting to get a refund, I was in for a rude awakening(literally). Instead of a refund I was emailed a gift certificate with no expiration code on it. 1 month later I attempted to use this "gift certificate" but it wouldn't accept it. So I called the customer service line and was told it was a 44 min wait time to speak with a rep. So I waited only to be told that the gift certificate had expired and I needed to call the customer service number. I informed her that the number I dialed was customer service. She told me to "please hold on" only for me to here the recorder say, "You've reach customer service. Currently, all of our representatives are busy assisting other customers. However, your call is important to us, please stay on the line and your call will be answer in the order in which it was received" Your estimated wait time is 33min. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!!

I actually never made a purchase - my mom tried to order something, and was clearly a little confused, but just needed a little patience and help. Instead, the operator was incredibly rude and treated her like a moron. At times ignoring her questions. I would never order from these.

No customer service whatsoever, I tried to place an order for a gift and as soon as I clicked paypal it said the order was complete, it never let me put in the gift address and sent it to my own address. There is no button to cancel an order. I called customer service and they would not cancel it, they say I have to wait till it gets here, and then ship it back at my own expense. This is ridiculous. DO NOT ORDER from them. They don't care about their customers and won't help you in any way.

Do not order from Sharper Image for Christmas or gift giving. You will be disappointed. I ordered 2 gifts, with giftbag/cards on December 13th for delivery before Christmas. 4 days later they sent an email labeled "Order Update" that I may not have even read thinking it was a shipment update. However, it stated that they canceled one of my items because they were out of stock and they would offer a 10% discount and free shipping if I wanted to reorder. I could contact them by email, or call their toll free number. I did both today. No one has responded to my email yet, but finally after an hour hold I spoke to an agent. She informed me that the gift bags were out of stock too. So, the reason I chose Sharper Image instead of Amazon, was to have the items gift bagged to send to Grandpa and Grandpa in the same delivery on the same day. There was nothing else I could find for Grandma's replacement on their website, but I asked the agent if she could provide a discount to an order I would purchase for my husband. She agreed to take 20% off, but not free shipping. So, the current promotion online was free shipping and 20% cash back rewards and a $25 gift card. Her offer was worse than the existing! I decided then that I could and would not ever shop with them again.

Ordered a gift for grandsons. Product was listed "In stock / ships with-in 2-days". Two weeks later, still no gift or shipping information. Called four times with ONE HOUR WAIT TIMES, promised it would ship, has shipped, don't know why is has not shipped, etc. I was lied to continuously. Make other gift plans, as this company cannot meet your orders, but certainly can TAKE YOUR MONEY!
Disappointed with Sharper Image's Confusing Promotions
I am very disappointed with Sharper Image. I recently purchased a treadmill from them which I like but what I don't like is the false advertising and false promises made regarding discounts and promotions.
I was told I was getting a $25 gift card and that never showed up so I had to ask twice for it. Once they sent it, it was not a gift card but a "promotional" code which cannot be combined with any other offer and has to be used on $50+ of merchandise. I was also supposed to get $60 cash back (as promotional cash to spend at Sharper Image) but instead they sent me $48. I was also supposed to get free shipping with the order of the treadmill which I let slide since the shipping amount was the same as the supposed $25 gift card. Overall, I won't shop with Sharper Image again. Their promotions are confusing and they should not be stating that they are sending a Gift Card when they send a promotional code instead. I have taken screenshots of everything.
Sharper Image can non-opener
Bought a Sharper Image can opener, expecting a decent product that would last for a few years, as it is after 9 months of fairly light use - 2 or 3 cans every week, it has stopped working with the teeth on the wheel having worn down. Pathetic!
Violated and Disrespected
I feel so violated. I was not familiar with this company at all, however I saw an advertisement for some solar candles that were so nice so I went to the Sharper Image site and gladly placed an order; as matter of fact, I ordered two of them (over $100). It has been a month ago now and still not a word. I have been extremely patient. I have tried contacting them on their site, concerning this situation. What has caused the insult is that they are not responding to me at all; which makes me feel like they; one, do not value their customers; and two, their company does not have a level of integrity or respect. I feel like if you know that you do not have an item in stock why not state that instead of taking people's money. I know that their are some delays because of the pandemic, but not even informing me of what's going on is utter disrespect and poor business practice. At this point I don't know if I've been scammed or what. No form of communication on their part. I have ordered other things from other companies, on line, since and have received all other orders; maybe a little later, but nothing like this, and was communicated with. I am so offended. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, and will fight to get my money returned. At this point I do not want anything from these people. It's so much scamming going on during this pandemic; who knows what is real anymore. People run like water. Very disappointed.
the portable scanner
My recent purchase is the portable scanner.. this was perfect to get photo copies of family pictures. It's a great size. It does not do 8x10s but I guess I have my full size scanner for such tasks.
The scanner was easy to use. transferring the.JPGs to my PC was simple.

Be careful when ordering, they told me an item in a particular color was no longer in stock, i ordered a different color. They sent me two of the items in each of the colors, charged me 2xs and cannot seem to return one of the items i didn't order! SCAM!
