I had a dreadful experience at St Lukes. I had been assured that any Oralb head would fit an Oral B toothbrush - but no, the replacement heads I boyght didnt fit. It took over 15 mins for them to agree to then process a $20 refund. Their knowledge and customer service are dreadful. And no apology for inconvenient incorrect advice in the first place. Awful. Will never return.
When simple becomes impossible
When simple becomes impossible. Went to order online and CC payment would not go through for click and collect. My wife went into store to purchase and use the 10% discount for new member code I could use online - store staff member would not honour discount code and told my wife to sort out online issue with ‘online support’ team ?!
Wife called in disbelief as I check online again and saw I could get delivery by Christmas if I ordered that day. Tried payment with Apple Pay and it worked….. with 10% discount applied. Didn’t try this early as I wanted click and collect.
Happy days - so I thought. Got postage details to see it will not arrive till after Christmas and the irony, it was posted from the store my wife was physically in!
Ordered on Amazon, will come on Christmas Eve and will return late Shaver Shop one for refund.
When these ‘bricks and mortar’ stores complain about a drop in sales, they have none to blame but them selves with this level of incompetence.
Christmas Shopping.
Today (21/12/2025) at around 1:30 pm, I visited your Castle Hill Towers store intending to purchase a spray trimmer cleaner and a few other products. The store is quite small. One staff member was assisting two customers, while another staff member was standing behind the counter, moving around without appearing busy. I walked through the store several times trying to locate the items I needed but had no success. Despite this, the staff member behind the counter never asked if I required any assistance.
After waiting and searching for over five minutes without any help, I decided to leave the store. I later purchased the items online from a different company.
This experience was disappointing, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning to the store again.

The WORST website I’ve ever seen in the modern age. Shaver shop you’ve missed out on a simple sale today because your outdated CRAPPY website doesn’t work on a mobile device, wouldn’t give me the option to actually pay for the item in my cart, so bought off Amazon instead! You might want to put some money into this area or you’ll be left in the dust!

Don't buy online they give you the old product, I purchased some new cutting scissors can't even cut through shit. Useless asf products here that's the last time i buy from there. Even the clippers I got are trash for cost not worth it at all.
I encountered a staff member
I encountered a staff member, Manpreet, at the Highpoint Maribyrnong store who was unbelievably rude and outright obnoxious. Her behaviour was unprofessional and disrespectful, and her attitude reflects extremely poorly on the entire store and customer service.
I also witnessed her interacting in the same dismissive and discourteous manner with another customer, which made it clear that my experience was not an isolated incident.
Management should seriously review the conduct of this staff member if they value their customers and their reputation. I will not be returning to this store again.

My wife and I bought a Pitbull head shaver for me for Christmas and it is the best shave I have ever had! The store staff were friendly and helpful with my purchase. I recommend anyone to shop there. My local shop is at Greenhills shopping centre at East Maitland. 10/10 overall!
Bad costumer service
When I asked the salesgirl for some assistance she first said to me that she would point out where the product was because she had to get back to the counter. Mind you we were the only ones in the shop. There was no other costumers. Then when I asked her if she had any more of the product I wanted she proceeded to tell me that she first she doesn’t know and second that it was her roster day off today and she had to come in to work. She ya getting paid Sundays rate. That is not my fault, she is there to work and assist customers. If it’s not for her costumers she would not have a job to go to and definitely would not have a salary. If she didn’t want to come in to work she shouldn’t have. Not good enough.

I ordered a bottle of 'Beautiful' perfume. The price was much less than other retailers, so I should have been wary. It came,in the correct bottle,but smells terrible. I have been using this perfume for years, so I know what it smells like. Its awful! If its too good to be true, it isn't. I learned my lesson. Dont buy from this company.

Shavershop is Australia & Newzealand's one of the good retail industries to work in. It's basically all about how good you are at 'sales' & 'service'. They take KPls very seriously. They track each & everyone's individual KPls to team & store's KPIs. The targets are easy to achieve it you breakdown in parts. Online orders to a big sale in a day to few small sales. Recruitment process & Human Resource were the best part i could think of in comparison to anyother retailer. HR replies to you within 3hrs but generally in most of the case they reply just in few mnts. The interview process is so generous & point to point. No drama nothing stupid at all. After the interview they do make sure that they are hiring right people so they do go through background checks & police check which is great because you know that you are working in safe environment. Pay scale is good too.
When i joined i had an amazing induction & training from my area manager in person. They have ample of knowledge & resources of giving you video training tutorials online too. It's like bible of shavershop. Their policies are fair & amazing to work with. Work culture is great. Its more like a friendly than being bossy. Team is well trained. You feel heard & valued by ur management.
They do take care of you a lot by doing proper HR roadshows & Expo & awards every year to keep the morale up & to celebrate the success plus they invest a lot into each individual. No matter you r full time or part time, you get all the benefits & all the training that is necessary for you to get successful. Mental health is well sustained in shaver shop's work environment. Love to be part of such wonderful company. Do join us & see the difference. :)

Bought a 400 dollar clipper set, the very next day they put it on sale for 300 bucks... Total BS, they should credit the value back like other stores do... For that very reason I won't shop there anymore.. so unethical

They keep asking me to send it back to braun they have a money back guarantee which is BS why should i pay for postage when your products were not stored properly and probably were part of a flood or something and have been harbouring all kinds of disgusting bacteria. They need to own up to their mistakes and ensure customers are happy. It's my first time shopping there and will certainly be my last.

Brought this 30/11/24 from Shaver Shop…
Brought a trimmer 30/11/24 from Shaver Shop in Auckland and the shaver head 34mm trimming blade has fallen to pieces. I have use this less than ten times and oil it. Shaver Shop will do absolutely nothing to honour the warranty. I don't want a new machine just replace the shaver head. Person behind counter said that this product is cheap and nasty! So I asked why do you sell it, his response is "it's for people on a budget" $100 and lasts 10 uses is not budget!

Very poor outcome
After a failure to contact me after I had quite some difficulty in trying to buy replacement blades, and head office said they would ring me back. I tried once again. I had spoken to several store representatives over the phone, about what type of blades for what type of razors. I was always told each time that they were out of stock and I should order on line. At no stage did anyone tell me that there were two tyres of razors of the series 5000 wet n dry. The Web site only shows one type. So I got thre wrong blades. Thanks Shaver Shop. Your Web site is confusing and your staff need to brush up on their product knowledge. I feel like sending it all back. Razor and all

They sell Panasonic 3 in 1, and then replacement blades are $69.99. More than half of the value of the unit. You can get replacement blades for $29.95 on line.
I had excellent service from Karley the…
I had excellent service from Karley the Manager at the Robina store today. I called to ask if the Wahl clippers were in stock and asked her to put them aside as I would pop in within the hour to purchase. Karley said no problem and explained she had some other great options I may be interested in. I ended up buying the Tranform U clippers which were light weight and work fabulously. I also ended up buying a Revlon one step style booster from her as well.
So impressed with her customer service and happy smile.

Not a complete Philips Lumea 7000
I bought a Philips lumea 7000, which was a great price, but seems to have been made especially for Shaver Shop, excluding the face and bikini attachments. Still good for the body applications, but useless otherwise. For $13 more, another online retailer had the proper setup with three rather than one attachments. Shaver Shop suggested i could contact Phillips Australia to purchase the attachment after market, but they're useless and haven't responded. Been a bit of a bummer, frankly...
