Poor quality of hair
Poor quality of hair - very thin which compromises longevity. To their credit I complained and they were responsive, but I still had to buy another bundle to add to the unit. Sadly, would not buy from seller again

Read reviews before you go. I had a nightmare experience and would not recommend them to anyone.
I booked jumbo lemonade stitch braids and sent in a photo of this style as I habe had it done several times before. I decided to try this salon as it was local as my usual stylist is in Crystal Palace. I took the day off work as I had to do my nails as I was flying off for my birthday in a few days. Therefore, this was supposed to be my birthday hair. They agreed that they could do the style and that I should purchase Impressions hair. Which I'd never used and that should've been my first red flag. I just thought this is what the stylist preferred.
I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early amd no one was at the salon. I waited until dead at 11am until someone arrived. Second red flag. The stylist arrived so after and there was no gummy wax to do the style. She was a little frazzled and said she was going to have to go and buy the 'gel'. That should have been my third red flag as my stylist never uses gel to do stitch braids.
After waiting for 15 for her to come back. She asked what style I was doing, I showed her the photos and asked her if she would be able to do it and she confidently said yes.
It was evident through the way she was braiding my hair that she was not familiar with hoe to do stitch braids. I had booked Jumbo Nd I kept having to direct her on the size as she kept doing them too small. After three rows at the back I asked her to take a picture of how it was going as I could tell she wasn't too confident. I was horrified at what I saw. At this time, I was trying to be graceful and asked for another stylist to do my hair. But I was informed that this stylist was the braided. My head was sore as she kept pulling it too tight amd at thos point I asked her to take them out as this was not the standard I expected. The owner/co owner came to try and resolve the situation but I reiterated that I felt I had Bern misinformed or boomed under the guise that a Service I wanted could be booked. However, they had let me down. Eventually, I agreed for the stylist to do large knotless as that was easier and she stated she could fo them. Fourth red flag, I should have left at that point but I realised I had no other options so I let the stylist do the knotless braids. If you ever see the mismatched braids this girl did in my hair I was furious. To tip it off she used so much gel that my hair flaked within hours. I spoke with the owner at the end and whilst they agreed I shouldn't have to pay the whole place is a mess. Their service appears good but they neex to refine wo many things. What mDe it worse is that another customer had an issue whilst I was there. In terms of my hair, I took it out before I flew out as my scalp was in pain and mostly because it was completely white flaky from all the gel. Never again will I return and its a shame as I wanted a local hairdresser but now I know that my braider in Crystal Palace is worth the journey. They shouldn't agree to do styles if they are not confident that they can offer the service. If I could have rated this 0, I would have.

Delivery Issues
Silqmist didn’t ship out the hair until after nearly two weeks when I chased up to find out what’s happening. This was after it took a separate two weeks to process the order (fair enough). But by being uncoordinated in sending out the hair for delivery once it was ready, it means I didn’t receive the hair until about a month after order. They have good customer service so I’ll be buying from them again, but just heads up - not the best service to use if you need the hair URGENTLY.

As always, this company never fails to please me when it comes to my hair extensions. I’m sure my hair will defiantly last a long time.
Also, I wish I could purchase some lace tints from this company I feel like it would make my lace look even more seamless than it already is.

Hair colour is different, quality resembles synthetic mixture and arrived over a month after ordering
Hair arrived a month later. The website has a picture up but doesn’t say it will look nothing like the picture unless you pay for the styling , then the “custom colour” but you can’t see the colour (bare in mind that’s the whole point) and if you escalate the fact it doesn’t look like what they displayed they will just tell you that their website says colour may differ *even if it obvious to everyone that it is completely different*. They don’t accept refunds no matter what they do ie. when they haven’t even processed the order yet or when they are late to send it (they said 10-15 working days. Didn’t happen) OR it arrives not as described. Not happy at all.

Amazing hair!!!
This hair was purchased over 2 years ago, has been dyed, straightened, curled and yet still has maintained a silkiness and quality. Although it may be on the pricier side, you are definitely paying for longevity and quality and is a great investment!

I can’t fault the customer service
I can’t fault the customer service. I was gifted some gift cards from for Silqmist and placed a few orders, I contacted the company about getting my order before Christmas as this is when there were strikes etc and they got the orders to me ASAP.
The water wave hair quality I’m not overly impressed with. It has been dyed a red tint but it’s so so dry, sheds a fair bit and I’m not overly impressed. I use water and a leave in to hydrate, sleep on satin pillows, use a wide tooth comb etc and it just isn’t giving me the impression this will be hair I have long term which was my intention. I know obviously after dying it’s not going to be the exact same as virgin hair but I feel like I’ve had cheap bundles from Aliexpress/China that have took colour better than this.
Yesterday I removed the bundles, deep conditioned them and reinstalled so I’m hoping I can sort this dry issue and at least try and make the most of them.
