I'm glad to have chosen Simply Easy Refurbs (SER) to lead on my loft conversion. I received a clear and competitive quote, as well as the guarantee that SER would have acted as guarantor for issue resolution as the job was performed by a sub-contractor company.
As always happens in construction, issues are around the corner, and this needs to be accepted by whoever decides to take on with renovation works. The thing I liked about SER is that they did work in a proactive and positive way to resolve issues flagged with them.
The final result is great. The loft was built at high quality standards with attention to details, and the 10 years warranty gives me peace of mind.

The team set up a WhatsApp group which proved amazing as we were all aware of what was happening every step of the way. If you don't have plans in place, get these guys to do them. Much better service than anywhere else. The builders who did the frame work, the roofers, carpenters, electrician, plumbers, plaster etc., were all so professional, clean, tidy and worked very hard. Any issues were addressed straight away. We could not be happier with the outcome which turned out to be a double bedroom on suite and an extra room for my office. I cannot fault any of the work. Thank you to Aldo and the Simply Refurb team for a brilliant loft conversion. We are really pleased with the high quality finished result. The process was smooth and Aldo was always very responsive if we had any questions or queries. The loft has added so much extra space and includes a master bedroom with en suite. The space is wonderfully light. The team also helped us redesign our family bathroom on the floor below which we are really pleased with too. I was referred to SimplyEasyRefurbs by a friend for a loft conversion, and the company name couldn’t be more accurate. From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth and well-organized, making the renovation process far easier than I had anticipated.

The customer service was excellent from the very beginning. They kept me informed at every stage, which really helped ease my nerves as this was my first major home renovation project. The project took longer than I initially expected due to work overlapping with the summer holidays. However, this was understandable, and once again, the communication was excellent, there were no surprises whatsoever in terms of timeline or pricing.

SimplyEasy Refurbs were recommended by Fast Plans, who did our drawings. They provided one of the 3 quotes we had shortlisted. You hear of so many horror stories from botched building works and deposits being paid and builders disappearing, so we nervously proceeded with caution when deciding who to entrust to build our extended loft space.

Laura made an initial visit and helped reassure us of SimplyEasy Refurb's credentials. Sebastian was then patient and non-pushy as we edged towards paying a deposit. Throughout the build he remained readily contactable and willing to take a call or answer an email. The project was completed around 6 months ago – on time and without any issues or problems. We've had time to let the dust settle and paint dry on the project, and we can't fault the quality of the work or any part of the build process. The builders on site were efficient, polite and professional, and the finished product is just what we hoped it would be.

You can't sugarcoat the facts – having the roof of your house removed is a big decision and a disruptive process. However, I'm not sure it could have gone any better and trouble-free. We took the plunge, have no regrets and wouldn't hesitate to recommend SimplyEasy Refurbs!

We had a great experience with Sebastian and his team. Our mansard loft conversion has added a whole new floor to our flat and provided an amazing new bedroom for our daughter. Our builder Loren and his team were excellent - the work was done on time and to cost; any issues were swiftly dealt with. As expected, we had to get a fire sprinkler system installed - with hindsight we could have started shopping around for a company to do it before building control confirmed it would be necessary; but we were lucky - we found a company who could do it quickly and that meant there was no delay to our project. The aftercare has been fabulous - only today their electrician came back to move a fan in the new bathroom ceiling that was in the way of our new cupboard doors. We couldn’t have asked for more from SimplyEasy Refurbs: we’d recommend them 100%.

Simply Easy Refurbs built a wonderful loft room and ensuite bathroom atop our small end-of-terrace in New Cross. The result is better than we had ever imagined and was delivered in good time at a good price. Stas, our project manager, was reliable and a pleasure to deal with. He really listened and was able to guide and reassure us whenever we had questions or worries (of which there were a few, this being our first time having any substantial building work done). Seb was also great to deal with and the negotiation process was smooth and fair. The couple of small issues we had along the way were thoroughly rectified, and I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for a professional finish. Cheers!

Very happy with our new loft conversion! We had a one bedroom and separate bathroom installed.
The work commenced last June and lasted approximately 4 months. Sebastian who we met initially to discuss the project was friendly, helpful and professional. Marius the project leader again was friendly professional and always answered our queries as quickly as possible. There were some minor issues along the way but these were rectified fairly quickly. The workers were punctual, respectful and very hardworking. They are like magicians! Thank you so much SimplyEasyrefurbs team 😍

Seb and the Team at Simplyeasyrefurbs completed the work extremely quickly and completed the works ahead of schedule which was excellent. The standard of workmanship is very good and I would work with Seb and the team again without hesitating.

We used George and the team at Fastplans which I would recommend as they work with one another a lot and have a good understanding of the planning and building control process.

The whatsapp communication is extremely helpful and everyone responds within less then 24hr which is fantastic. I can't fault the communication which you can with a lot of building companies.

This was our first experience of any renovation works and after hearing so many horror stories, we were quite nervous to pick a company and get started.

We feel so lucky to have found Simply Easy Refurbs - the entire process has been remarkably straight-forward and so quick. Marius has been a brilliant project manager, with a particular shout-out to Constantin who completed so much of the carpentry works, and our builders who were beyond professional, polite and efficient. We couldn't believe how quickly the main frame was in place.

The WhatsApp communication group made any quick questions so easy to resolve, and we were particularly grateful for their flexibility - arranging for the staircase to be put in ahead of schedule because we'd be away for the weekend.

Honestly couldn't recommend them more (and won't really have to try very hard - we've already had multiple knocks on our door from neighbours eager to have a look!).

Recently underwent a dormer conversion of our rear outrigger and it's been a pleasure to deal with SimplyEasy and ICS. A lot of credit must go to Stas, who is such an efficient and helpful project manager that he is a credit to the industry. The team supporting him were also great though, with particular shout-outs to Lile and Roberta.

Our project ended up being more complicated than first envisaged, necessitating a new steel beam and new staircase alongside a critical timeframe to work to ahead of the birth of a new child. To say it was essential for our family to move out for a couple of months would be an understatement. Throughout everything, though, Stas went above and beyond on so many occasions to support us at all stages of the process and keep us informed. He really did care and acted like a good friend, not just an employee of a commissioned loft conversion company.

Customer service, good results, transparency and effective communications are obviously important to Seb as a business owner and this is what really sets SimplyEasyRefurbs apart from other companies. To keep that at the forefront of the customer experience, one bit of feedback I would give is there should perhaps be a more proactive effort to ensure all tradesmen work from the same hymn sheet on this.. we did encounter a few challenges along the way with the PM before Stas, also the plumber was rather incompetent and we saw some inconsistencies in quality of work, but what was commendable was the passion for resolving everything to a satisfactory conclusion.

Thanks again for all your hard work in amongst some very challenging circumstances and we wish the teams continued success in the year ahead.

Great loft conversion: emma was super helpful from the start and the plans that George created were very quick. We only expected to get 1 bedroom and bathroom (previous architect had said that’s all we could do) with planning etc but thanks to their advice, we got 2 double bedrooms so have added extra value to our house!! The build was really quick and the guys worked round the clock to get it done, very impressive. The internals dragged on a bit and there were quite a few extras but the finished loft is absolutely beautiful and the tradesman were incredible at every job. Really happy to recommend them for your loft. We need to extend downstairs next year and will definitely consider them.
