I had my boiler and roof top insulation done by simplyeco. The experience has been truly amazing both in term's of service and communication with office. The office has been in continuous touch with appointments and aftercare.
The surveyor has been really nice and did the survey with consideration to respect to property.
The engineer installing the boiler is professional and completed the job tidy and nicely.
The team dealing with the insulation were great guys and handle the job with care and maintain the respect for the property.
Overall experience is really good. Great people to work with.

Despite being a bit skeptical when first applying, Simply Eco have been fantastic from start to finish! Applying was easy and quick, once they had confirmed our details and eligibility they explained what would be getting done and when it would be happening. We had loft insulation, window vents, extract fan and a new boiler (complete with new radiator valves and a new thermostat). The electricians came first to do the loft and windows and were friendly, polite and very efficient. Once this was completed, Simply Eco confirmed when the engineer was coming with the boiler- we had a little wait but soon it arrived and the gentleman was again very polite and efficient. Everything was explained how it all worked and they tidied up any mess they made. We would highly recommend Simply Eco, they have been brilliant from start to finish, thank you so much!

Sorry I didn't take any names but im hoping you will know who the people concerned are from the dates I will give you.We are very happy with the service from Simply eco starting from the initial survey back on February20th.The surveyor was very thorough in his assessment.He explained we would need the loft insulation and trickle vents and extractor done before they could go ahead with boiler fitting.He also put our application forward as urgent as our 34 year old boiler was completely broken and couldn't be fixed.The loft insulation was completed on the 28th April.The3 lads that did it were very pleasant hardworking young men.They did a great job after explaining exactly what they were going to do Cleaning up after finishing the job .We then received a certicate to say it had been completed .
Moving on to June when we thought the boiler would be fitted we got a message to say that there was a delay with the funding and it wasn't clear how long it would take before it could be fitted this was quite worrying for us but as soon as I rang customer services and explained we hadn't had a boiler since February as it was completely broken and it had been put forward as urgent The lady I spoke to sent our application directly to the person who deals with funding and fitting and we were then given for fitting for July 30th.The 2 young men who fitted the boiler worked extremely hard from 08.30-6pm.They cleaned up well after the job was done and didn't leave until they had checked that everything was working and made sure we knew how to work the boiler and we were given all the completed paperwork.
Going forward we didn't hear anymore about the fitting of the extractor until after the final inspection was done on 8th September and was told the work couldn't be signed off until the extractor had been fitted Within 2 days we had been given a date for it to be done .It was fitted within an hour by Harry I was given a number if there were any ongoing problems.
All in all we are very happy with the service from Simply Eco we only have one thing to pass forward to the young lady (not sure if she was designated as our first point of contact) I spoke to her on a couple of occasions this is definately not a negative against her I just want to say she came across as a little uptight and for her to be a little more relaxed on a call as she was overall very helpful .
Simply Eco you have taken alot of stress and worry off us and we can now go foward knowing we have heating hot water and the house is ready for the winter .Thanks again to everyone concerned.

The entire experience from start to finish was seamless. All communication was thorough, clear and I was given so many options for installation to ensure Simply Eco worked around me. They were aware that I had no heating at all and ensured that the boiler and insulation was completed as soon as possible. The guys were friendly, completely professional and above all else, tidy! For years, I had been putting off replacing an ancient heating and hot water system that came with the house; it comprised an ugly old system boiler in the kitchen coupled with a Gledhill BoilerMate that dominated the upstairs airing cupboard.

Why had I put off updating my system? Because I am a fussy engineer who cannot stomach the over-inflated prices charged for the straightforward job of plumbing in a modern, self-contained combi boiler; I felt compelled to explore the possibility that I might qualify for a grant, but I did not hold out hope as I was not on benefits or a low wage.

SimplyEco was top in a Google search for boiler grants with a great Trustpilot score and reviews. I called them, and within minutes, to my shock and pleasant surprise, they assured me that I definitely qualified for the grant owing to a combination of the age/efficiency of my boiler, the current energy efficiency score for my property and my high blood pressure… and it would be 100% funded!

The next step was a survey which was completed by their surveyor, Abdul, who conducted the most comprehensive survey of my home. In my case, in addition to the boiler and Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs), additional loft insulation was required together with an extractor fan for the downstairs toilet and trickle vents for a number of the double-glazed units; all of this work was covered by the grant. Thanks to Abdul's excellent insight and answers to my probing technical questions, I made the decision to make a small contribution to upgrade the boiler from that offered free by the grant scheme. My thanks to Suni for his help with accommodating the boiler and controls upgrade.

Following Abdul's survey visit and approval for the grant, these were the next steps:

1. Loft insulation and trickle vent visit: Owyn did a fantastic job of installing additional loft insulation and trickle vents. The days following Owyn's visit were some of the hottest at the beginning of the summer, and the additional insulation kept the top floor of my house cool, so I have absolute confidence that the insulation will make a massive difference to keeping heat in this winter!

2. Toilet fan visit: in about a one hour visit, a fan was fitted in my downstairs toilet. It runs at very slow speed to keep air flowing as well as speeding up when it detects higher humidity levels.

3. Boiler installation visit: Phil Turley and his team worked magic over two days to: remove the old boiler from the kitchen and Gledhill BoilerMate from the airing cupboard; route a new gas pipe to the airing cupboard; fit TRVs to my radiators; and install a top-of-the-range Worcester Bosch 8000+ 36kW condensing combi boiler to the back wall of the airing cupboard.

4. Final inspection visit: SimplyEco booked in a brief inspection visit; this was to check that all aspects of the various improvement works had been undertaken to the required quality and standards required under the grant scheme.

In conclusion...

1. In case you are in any doubt: this is NOT any form of scam or way to get you to pay 'hidden charges'; it delivers energy saving measures, including a new boiler, fully-funded by the grant scheme if you qualify.

2. The grant is NOT reliant on you being in receipt of benefits/low income; common health issues also qualify.

3. What is SimplyEco's differentiator and value proposition? They have deservedly earned a market-leading share here by being highly efficient in putting together the grant application together with pulling together the stringent evidence required to successfully support that application; the cornerstone of that is the initial home survey, and it is essential that you support that couple of hours of someone looking over your house to save you thousands of pounds.

4. SimplyEco do all of the hard work of applying for a grant; there is no stressful form-filling, and all you need to do is answer a few simple questions, evidence your benefits or health condition and allow access to your home for the survey and installation work.

5. Finally, there are no 'catches', 'gotchas', commission etc.; if there had been, I can assure you that I am the kind of person to call out that kind of nonsense on review sites such as this. However, as always, you do read a few negative reviews, but I hope that, like me, you can read those in the context of what the majority of intelligent customers of SimplyEco have written in glowing praise.

Thank you so much to SimplyEco for keeping my faith that there are still companies out there offering genuine, professional and comprehensive services to access grant funding and undertake the improvement works to a high standard and a successful outcome for the homeowner.

I was looking at getting a new boiler installed and found these guys online, i read the reviews and thought, why not give them a go. So glad i did, super easy to get in contact with and liase with, if they needed anything from me, it was a quick WhatsApp message ( love that) and vice versa. Very professional from start to finish and they let me know that, unfortunately i didn't qualify for a new boiler but i did however qualify for
1. loft insulation
2. trickle air vents on windows,
3. extractor fan in kitchen/bathroom and
4. new radiator valves and heating thermostat! WOW!
To get all these installed for free was honestly the best news, especially at a time we are at now.
Simply eco were very informative and nothing was too long of a wait at all.
Would very much recommend this company and the tradesman that come out to fit these things etc, in fact, i have already recommended them to a few friends who are in processes of getting things moving.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. During all there visits every person was respectful, tidy and completed there just efficiently. Couldn’t recommend this service enough. No daunting long winded processes or forms, all really easy to understand and complete and as I’ve said extremely quick. Ever person even on the phones I dealt with were fantastic and professional. My brand-new sparkly boiler was fitted in October 2024 numerous problems with pressure ever since. They directed me to Worcester Bosch after numerous engineers came they sent a senior engineer who cancelled my warranty stating the control panels have been put in an unsafe area and until are moved my warranty is invalid. And the filling loop was unsafe I have since had a private engineer service my boiler he stated a chemical clean was simply not good enough and in his opinion, it takes more than a day to change a complete boiler system. I continue to live with this dodgy system I was advised to contact gas safe which I’ve done today and looks like I’m going to have to pay out again to have the system flushed properly. If the report from gas safe comes back identifying problems I will be contacting legal representation to reimburse the costs I have now spent.
Since writing this review simply eco contacted trust pilot to have it removed claiming defamatory content. Yet failed to comment or contact me!

From first contact to excellent after care i cannot fault Simply Eco .
What stood out for us when we had a state of the art modern boiler fitted was the professionalism of all staff , but what really impressed me was the high level of knowledge of their engineers who installed our boiler….oh very tidy aswell

Very efficient in setting things up. Little disappointed on aftercare as not as swift

I am very pleased with what i have got from Simply Eco, the loft installation, extractor fan in bathroom and of course the new boiler which is excellent so far. I was very pleased with the man who fitted it who was always pleasant and polite and from what i can see did a throughly professional job in only two days! The office staff especially Alicia Walker, were all excellent as well. I cannot praise them enough and all i can say is that i feel so fortunate to come across Simply Eco, which incidentally was only by chance.

Simply Eco provided exceptional service for our new boiler installation. What stood out was the consistent professionalism across the board. The office staff were efficient and polite, always a pleasure to deal with. The surveyor was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, answering all our questions thoroughly. I recently had a new boiler installed by Simply Eco Energy and I couldn't be happier with the service and my new boiler. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.

The engineers arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and completed the installation efficiently. They took great care to protect my floors and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. I was especially impressed with how smoothly the whole process went. It did take longer than I was expecting but this was purely down to the availability of Government funding.

I had Hassan allocated to me and he came and did the initial assessment visit and he explained what would happen next and spoke to me about the advantages of upgrading the boiler which I did in the end. He also gave me his mobile number which made it easier to communicate with him directly.

For the last two weeks before installation I had no hot water meaning that we had to take a shower at the local service station which wasn’t ideal and Hassan brought the date of our installation forward.

The new boiler is working perfectly, and they even took the time to show me how to use the thermostat and answer all my questions.

It’s amazing now that I can turn the hot water tap on in the kitchen and hot water comes out which hasn’t happened for quite some time.

Very pleased with SimplyEco after being initially very skeptical however I had fantastic service, prompt replies to queries and issues and now have a new efficient boiler along with trickle vents and PIV. Would recommend.
