Ski lifts provided an excellent service. We were delayed as our luggage was left behind but Alice our driver waited for over an hour while we sorted out the problem. She also stopped at a shop so we could by some essential supplies.

Very disappointing experience with…
Very disappointing experience with Ski-Lifts.
Our return transfer failed completely – late pickup, incorrect vehicle provided, and no second vehicle as promised. Despite multiple calls throughout the day, they were unable to provide a workable solution.
We were eventually offered a very late alternative requiring €800 upfront with only a verbal promise of reimbursement, which was not acceptable. We had no choice but to arrange our own transport and missed our flight.
The company has refused to take responsibility, relying on “weather conditions”, but this does not explain the poor handling, lack of coordination, or failure to provide a reasonable alternative.
Would not rely on this service for important travel connections.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and the disruption on the day.
As explained in our correspondence, the situation was caused by road closures between Grenoble and Alpe d’Huez, enforced by local authorities until further notice. This meant the driver was unable to reach you, and no alternative vehicles were available due to the wider disruption. Unfortunately, this constitutes a force majeure event and was outside of our control. We understand how frustrating this was, particularly with your onward travel plans.

As previously explained, the details of your chosen service are clearly outlined prior to booking and in our terms. We are unable to take responsibility where bookings are made incorrectly or details provided are inaccurate.
On this occasion, the request was made at short notice and fell outside our operational capabilities, despite our efforts to assist.
We understand this was frustrating and regret we were unable to help further.
Best value, reliable transfer
This was the cheapest transfer company I could find for our transfer from Chambery Airport to Arc 1950. The booking procedure was straightforward and customer services very easy to get hold of and helpful. The vehicles were spotless, modern and comfortable and the drivers friendly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that there was some confusion over our pick up time for the return journey between the central office and the cab driver with one saying a 4:30 am pick up and the other a 5:30 am and the cab driver asking our advice on where to pick up, what time and the weather conditions, which as he spoke no English and my French is basic caused some confusion and uncertainty! However, all in all it was an excellent, prompt, reliable service.
