I wish I could post pictures on here so I could warn of how bad the windows and doors where that they done for my pensioner mam in Middlesbrough, they were wonky, they left holes in the wall, drafts pulled skirting boards off. I think because she was old they took advantage, she’s now going through legal channels that’s leaving her really poorly at nearly 70 year old. I’ve shared their poor work on social media to hopefully save some other elderly person. And looking through these reviews that are 5 stars they belong to their staff, ie: Geoff longstaff, this has been screenshot for trust mark as well as flagged

Hard door-to-door selling while I was round my mother-in-laws; had she answered the door I'm fairly certain she would have been sold new windows and doors, even though they're less than 10 years old, and probably even get her to pay for the neighbours.

Instead, after establishing that this wasn't my house, "perhaps I could interest you in getting your own house done...."

The company were in contact before coming out, and the guys were on time and really good, I can't praise Mark and Vaughan enough, two really good workers who knew what they were doing, and they made a really good job, of fitting the whole house with windows, me and my husband are thrilled with the results, and the company phoned after to see if we were happy with the results.

We were contacted by smart homes regarding a battery to add to our solar system there senior consultant Paul came to see us who was very pleasant and knowledgable with 20yrs experience surveying and designing solar systems to suit your home Paul explained the benefits and how the lastest technology works inc an app so we can monitor the system inc insurance guarantees etc we have seen an immediate increase in savings and returns If you are considering solar panels and batteries do not hesitate to contact Smart homes

Dave came to our house and from the first moment we started to talk about solar panels everything made sense. Every question answered, all information which we needed was provided. Even when I wasn't quite sure if I understood correctly Dave took time to explain everything again so I was in no doubt that we are getting the best deal possible. Everything was done on time and up to best standard. Very happy with the whole process and care. Thank you so much Dave for your time and care and for answering my calls always.
I should also mention that I would recommend Smarthomes Energy to anyone who's thinking of getting solar panels. We had a few representatives from other companies but Smarthomes came top.
Very professional service from boys who fitted our panels. One of our roof slabs was damaged (we didn't even knew about it).They replaced it with gerat care.

A person called at the door one evening from smarthomes an asked if we where interested in solar. We then made an appointment for someone to come round at 8pm, to which a lady called louise came on time, she was very polite an explained the whole procedure involving solar panels and battery set up .telling us what was the best way for setting things up,an that she would guide is through the whole procedure.we agreed a set up an within 7 days the whole package was installed by friendly proffessional staff i highly recommend louise an the smarthomes staff for friendly proffessional attitude to their costumers , with louise helping out with the set up which helped greatly many thank to all

All I can say is from my initial interest to a canvasser conversation, the smooth sailing began when we meet Louise the same night, she was open, informative and half the reason we proceed l. Which also was quick hassle free and well explained and well executed great workmen’s ship. I wud recommend to anyone looking into solar to really consider smart homes and give Louise a call 👍🏼

We were door knocked by Alan who was very polite and knowledgeable who contacted the sales person who was amiable and efficient they came back with a very reasonable price a surveyer came a few days later to measure up. We picked a date and all 7 windows were replaced in one day the installers we very professional and polite. I would recommend this company to anybody.

We are very pleased with the windows and doors. The quality and workmanship was second to none. A big shout out to Kris and his bro, the installation was flawless. Both lads were very helpful and polite. They never stopped, they cleared and cleaned up along the way. Good lads, proper grafters!

Smarthomes put a roof on my conservatory afew weeks ago. The job was carried out on time and very professionally. It was a 4 day job fully completed in 4 days.
The crew were efficient, left each day clean and tidy. Were very polite and helpful.
We are delighted with the finished job. Would recommend them

If anyone is thinking about getting a door or just a window or the whole set replaced, then I’d highly recommend Smart Homes Darlington. Took 2 days from start to finish. They were a day behind schedule, which was no fault of their own as the job before mine proved to be more tricky than expected. They kept me updated as soon as they knew they couldn’t make the first day. They were very considerate and tidied as they went. The workmanship is 5 star and I’m so happy with the finished product. They even replaced my front door step for free which I absolutely love, as it was falling apart and it’s saved my dad a job! Don’t always listen to the reviews you hear online or the people that troll your posts when looking for recommendations. Had so many negative comments, but I went with my gut anyway and I’m glad I did. Couldn’t be happier. Anyone that knows me knows I’m picky AF and I pay attention to detail. I have a 10% voucher for 5 units or less or 15% off for anything over that if anyone is considering an upgrade (and no, I’m not getting anything out of singing their praises) people are too quick to leave a negative review nowadays, but it takes just as much time to leave a positive one ❤️

Got cold called this morning from someone canvassing the street, gave my contact details because I am looking for quotes for new windows and doors in the foreseeable future. Got a call from a mobile number, saying they were calling from the office and could arrange for an estimator to call round to measure up and provide a quote. Estimator call round about an hour later. Seemed very pleasant and chatty, went through our choices for styles, window opening directions etc. The estimator was with us about 3 hours, but had a complete character change when the price was discussed. We said we'd need to have a think about it and maybe do things in piecemeal given the quote price, but wasn't taking the hint, pushing finance options and throwing monthly payment prices around, heavily pushing for us to commit to time scales etc. in the end I said we aren't prepared to commit to anything and he left.. luckily I play my card close to be chest when it comes to sales people but I can see how other people may fall victim.. never be pressured into a sale!

Really happy with my new door. Looks amazing. Had to wait in 2 days as lads couldn’t get here on the Monday but they were excellent on the day. They also adjusted my French doors which were sticking as a kind gesture thankyou x

From the sales consultant, surveyor and team of window fitters every thing went smoothly. The fitters turned up on time they were very polite and tided up at the end of the day they also layed down dust sheets, the office staff also rang to ask if every was OK 👍

Wish I read the reviews first one of my family members decided to use this company absolutely shambles can't communicate even if they tried. They say everything is getting done on one/two days bullsh#t!! Be prepared to chase them for it to be installed.they turned up with windows and doors but no glass pane for the door then didn't have the sills, organised to come another day then glass wasn't ready then said sills weren't on the order when they were.numerous phone calls to try and see what's happening honestly a JOKE SO DO NOT RECOMMEND. When mentioned it to manager they said was rare this happens what a total lie AVOID!!!

Scam company , avoid at any cost !!
Sales representative came with demonstration and all rubbish hard sell.
Payed deposit and we set the date 6 weeks or less to fit new door which they claim they buy from German factory. 5 months later no door no deposit back, rang them and they don’t know which door I ordered and I have to wait for closest available fitting day another 2 months.
They set fitting day and twice nobody turned up. Every time they give another date.
Scam avoid at any cost !! And don’t pay any deposit
Also did my research and the company changed name multiple times , that tells a lot

The Project from start to finish went like a dream from the sales rep to the final cleaning down of the site.
everything went so well, super work so we are very "Happy Customers"

This company is a scam. Employed this company to build a brick porch which consisted of foundations, brick both sides, a glass front and a pitch slate roof. They advised planning person was not needed and building control not needed. Half way through the build, planning was in fact needed and the current build was done by 2 window fitters who did not have a clue about building regs. The entire porch which was built was done wrong. The company came back and took down the build and left all materials in my garden and now are ignoring my calls and emails. This has been going on for 4 months. They get your money and run. Do not give this company any money up front. Almost £6000 out of pocket and I have a reckon of a garden and nothing to show for my money. Now needing to go legal with this which is such a hassle.
