Just back home from a 3 night UK Cotswold's walking Holiday, Scott our Solo's Rep was very Professional and informative of the plans for our walking trip, especially when a group member found the walking too difficult Scott made sure the group member returned safely to the hotel. The organisation of the Hotel, the tour guide and transport to and from our walking points was fantastic, this is my first time with Solo's and I have been very impressed the with whole experience, I will us Solo's again.

Excellent group leader and tour guide. Couldn't fault them! Scott is personable and attentive to any issues and really made the group gel. Cheryl is knowledgeable and encouraging and led two great walks.

What a fabulous few days away in the Cotswolds. Lovely hotel, well planned walks and great organisation. Scott our tour guide joined everything together wonderfully and his good nature and humour really added to the holiday.

I returned from Nessebar Bulgaria this week and am still smiling.
I enjoyed being with a lovely group of people.
I have been on several solos holidays and Christine has been the best tour guide. She was very friendly and listened to what each person needed. I was impressed that Christine had sourced so much information and was very knowledgeable about the area, despite not having been there before. I particularly enjoyed our day at museums and churches learning about Bulgarias rich history.
The hotel was lovely and we had some fun nights. The entertainment wasn’t the best but our group was great and we chatted well into the night.
I would highly recommend this trip with Christine.

I have just got back from Bulgaria, this was my first holiday with Solos and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The group were great and we all got on really well. Christine our host was amazing, she suggested various visits and trips which we were free to join in with or not as we wished.

The tour was great. Gary the solos rep was very attentive and always looking to optimise activities and handle any problems. The local guide was very passionate and knowledgable about her country. The 4 star hotels were very nice, efficient, clean and well managed.

Only issues for me were a few too many temple visits.

Solos Holidays are the best singles holiday company. I've just got back from Nessebar in Bulgaria, our tour leader, Christine was excellent and as a group we didn't stop laughing from start to finish! Been going away with Solos holidays since 2014 and I highly recommend. Don't ever worry or be nervous about going away as a single person with them, you'll never regret it, as you will have a great time, meet new friends and will want to book again as soon as possible 😊

I had a great time on my holiday to Bulgaria. I met so many lovely people there, we got along so well many people thought we’d known each other for some time.
Our tour rep Christine was lovely, very thoughtful taking care of our individual needs. Great company as was the group as a whole.
The hotel was good though a couple of things not working properly in my room it was ok. I was disappointed to miss the banquet as the season had ended the day before our arrival however the main restaurant provided a variety of cuisines. The staff were friendly, the main beach lovely but the immediate beach below the hotel had large rocks to cross to get to it so I little dangerous. I would recommend this holiday.

I recently went on my second holiday with Solos, this time to South Korea and can honestly say it was one of the best holidays I’ve been on, even surpassing the first one.

Booking my own flights was easy, Solos were very helpful when I contacted them about this. The whole booking process was so straightforward.

The tour leader Gary Bailey was excellent at putting us solo travellers at ease straight away, meeting new people can be intimidating but Gary made it easy. He was also particularly good at herding all the guests (it was worse than herding cats at some points!) and keeping the tour on track.

Our South Korean guide, Lucy, was lovely and when she found out I was learning the language decided to become my personal tutor.

The hotels were all very comfortable and in excellent locations. Any problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently and the whole trip ran really smoothly.

I don’t think I stopped laughing for the entire two weeks, I was really lucky with the group, the majority were lovely fun people.

I will definitely use Solos, and hopefully Gary, again.

The whole experience was great. We arrived as individuals but left as a group of friends. It was a smallish group of 10. Christine, our tour leader, made sure everything was just right for us during our holiday. Eventhough it was a beach holiday she organised daily meet ups, outings, walks ,excursions etc.The location was beautiful with lots of history as well as great food.Hotel was lovely and spotless. Staff were accommodating and friendly. We had great weather so daily sea swimming was a must even though there was a pool at the hotel. I had a fantastic time making new friends in a new location.

Just back from South Korea an amazing country, with a fascinating history and culture. The itinerary covering cities, national parks and the coast was ideal.  Our tour leader, Gary Bailey, ensured it all went smoothly - keeping us informed, patient with a head-strong group, attentive to differing needs and able to organize meals and activities for those unsure how to. His excellent hosting then allowed Lucy are local guide to take us through the itinerary, providing all the information we needed, past and present, on the markets, parks, temples and even the  DMZ etc. Together they ensured we had the best holiday. Definitely one for everyone's bucket list.

I have just returned from an amazing holiday in South Korea. Booking a holiday can be daunting for some people it was for me, but you encounter really lovely people from the moment you pick up the phone to book the holiday. Gary was our Tour leader a great guy, who organised our day to day but also was there for us if we encountered any issues nothing seemed to much for him. we also had Lucy who was our local guide she shared her extensive knowledge about her country, which gave us a great insight to the country. It was a wonderful experience shared with a lovely group of people, we had lots of fun.

Very well organised good quality hotels, transfer coach, The Solo’s tour leader Gary was very attentive dedicated dealing with any issues the local company that was hired to provide the itinerary were very well represented by their guide and coach they supplied

So for my second Solos holiday experience it was a first time trip to Villa Maistrali in Santorini, and a very good experience it was too! Would definitely recommend this trip for an “exclusives” holiday. It’s a lovely environment in which to spend a week, both the Villa and The island itself and a great way of getting to know fellow like minded travellers. We were accompanied by our TL Lynne who was always on hand with a calming smile and helpful advice on locations etc, and nothing was too much trouble . Thanks once more to all the team @ Solos.

Lovely hotel, owner was friendly and a great cook. But hotel up steep slope, opposite a thin strip of beach, and on a busy road with intermittent pavement

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Angela Studios in Alykanas, Zakynthos.
Location of hotel is near to the beach, harbour and within walking distance of Alykanas' shops, bars & restaurants.
Angela Studios is basic Greek accommodation but clean and well presented in internal & external areas. Breakfast is simple but if you need a more substantial one, there is a great bakery nearby and local restaurants offering a more varied menu.
I travelled with Solos Holidays and the two Tour Leaders, Mark Osland and Bee Appleton were excellent. Both were friendly, approachable, helpful and were happy to go out of their way for members of the group.
A great couple of weeks !!!

I had a great holiday in Crete and then in Santorini.
Both locations were very good and the tour leaders made my experience amazing 🤩

Sailing in Turkey is simply amazing, the views, the swimming, the food, the company - in no particular order. This was the 2nd time I have done this and I absolutely love it.
The living is a tad basic, but if you love swimming, not wearing shoes for a week and belly laughing loads, it’s the perfect holiday for you.
Sarah the TL is so knowledgeable about the area and a great support for anything you need as well as being great fun.
Highly recommended - but not too highly recommended as I definitely want to do it again so don’t all be booking it 🤣

Just returned from the Ancient Wonders and Greek Islands tour with the exceptional Tour Leader Debs , which proved to far exceed my expectations . The quality of every aspect of the holiday was excellent from the hotel locations , standard of accommodation , restaurants chosen , planned excursions , taxis and fun events all included in the itinerary … all superb. But the real Jewel in The Crown was Debs herself, with attention to detail and planning , kindness , enthusiasm and nothing was too much trouble to her , even in the more difficult situations that inevitably arise , Debs dealt with everything that was thrown at her with a smile and professional determination to overcome all problems . Thanks Debs for delivering such a wonderful adventure.

Had a fabulous week at VIK San Antonio Hotel, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. You can sit by the pool all day, if you want to, but there are lots of activities in and around the hotel, for those who want to burn-off some of the inevitable extra ‘holiday calories’ from the excellent food. We just had to speak to Mark Atherton, our Tour Leader, who would not only arrange something, e.g. cycling, tennis, padel tennis, mini-golf etc, but join in as well. Great chap
