After an initial disappointment when a landlady decided to sell instead of let, Strakers pulled out all the stops to find me exactly the home I needed.
They have all been a pleasure to deal with, but special thanks go to Guy, for whom nothing has been too much trouble.

We had excellent service from Strakers Corsham office. Sales organisation with Matt, David & Cody was straightforward and knowledgeable. Good communication and a great understanding of their local market helped us achieve an efficient sale.
Eleanor managed the challenges of probate with us to good effect, and her expertise and communication was invaluable.

Strakers were very professional in all their dealings and negotiations on my purchase and were very accommodating in arranging post offer viewings and access which they had to accompany. I think they did a good job of navigating the fine line between representing the vendor and encouraging realistic negotiations which fostered trust with me as a buyer without compromising their or their client’s interests.

They did their due diligence without pressure or officiousness and minimised the stress of buying as far as was possible.

i would have no hesitation in recommending them as a knowledgeable and effective agent whether you are buying or selling.

Heard that it wasn't as good as the hype, however, the hype is REAL. The flatbread with burnt chilli and scallop was a 9.5, the partridge was an 8.5, the Tagilioni was a 9 and then JESUS CHRIST the iberico pork (pluma) was a joke....gave it a 9.7 but it could have been a 10. They do a naughty Japanese slipper cocktail which isn't on the menu but they were happy to make it. Straker popped his head in and around which nice and was super friendly inviting us for a photo. Overall a solid 9.5.

I contacted K at the local branch to ask for help in finding my son a rental as he was due to start his first job mid January. We live a long distance away therefore being able to view rental property's as they came onto the market was virtually impossible and were being rented so quickly he didn't stand a chance of getting there in time. However K at Strakers went above and beyond, providing him with a virtual viewing the very day I contacted her. He knew it was a property he definitely wanted to rent and was able to arrange a quick in person viewing asap. Happily he was able secure the rental and is moving in next week.

Many thanks to Eleanor, Matt & Rosemary for their efforts in the recent sale of our property in Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire. The property had a number of quirks (not least solar panels owned by a 3rd party on the roof) and the sale required a great deal of thought and persistence in bringing matters to a successful conclusion. Not living in the area we particularly valued Matt's weekly visits to ensure everything at the property was OK and also Eleanor's ability to problem solve and keep the sale on track.
