I appreciated that they put a coat of paint on my ramp. they were able to service my EMC hand controls which is why I initially went there because I could not find anyone else in the Southeast Michigan area who could. One star is too good for Superior Van & Mobility in Fishers, IN.
I ordered a lift in May, 2023. In July, I still had no idea when my lift would arrive. I called Superior several times leaving messages, no one bothered to return my calls. My daughter went to Superior to see if she could get some answers. She was told that several calls were made to me and messages left on my phone to let me know the lift had been there waiting for me to contact them. I have an iPhone. All calls incoming and outgoing can be viewed in the history, in addition, the bill shows the history.
Finally, the lift was installed in July. I was told it would take several hours to complete installation, and they would call me when it was completed. Several hours passed, again, I heard nothing from Superior, I had to contact them. When I got ahold of someone, they said it had been done for a while.
When we arrived to pick up our van, we were told that the wrong license plate light kit had been ordered. They said they ordered the correct kit, and should arrive in about a week. I heard nothing. I called and called. Again, we had to physically go to Superior for any answers. They kept saying “soon” or “next week”. We were leaving for an extended trip in August without a license plate light.
About five days into our trip, we attempted to use the lift and found it had no power. There we were in Colorado with a brand-new dead power lift. I had no idea where to go for repairs.
We spent about five days in and out of service departments waiting for repairs to be completed from Colorado to California. The General Manager from each location agreed that the lift issues were caused by “improper installation”. The wiring harness had been installed too close to the exhaust pipe melting the wires completely through.
Poor installation caused us so much stress and money. We had to extend our hotel stay while repair were done. We had booked a cruise, several shows and dinners that we had to cancel.
The lift wobbled so bad, bolts and washers came off somewhere in the mountains. My mobility scooter slipped half way off the lift while driving in the mountains. I had to purchase ratchet straps to secure the scooter to the lift. Without power, the lift had to be raised and lowered manually with a tool I had to purchase. We had to extend our hotel stay several times, cancel a cruise, dinners, shows and more. Again, Superior in Fishers, IN deserves less than a 0.

The financial advisor called me and would not let me get a word in edge wise to ask about financing someone appeared at her door within 20 seconds into the conversation and she talked so fast and I kept trying to interrupt her to ask about financing I was unsuccessful she couldn’t get me off the phone fast enough and said she would email me the information. This encounter could not have been more unprofessional and rude. I’ll guess I’ll look somewhere else I don’t like the way I was treated.I spoke to someone by the name Karen? At the Madison Avenue location.On the website it clearly states they can assist with finding government funding.

Toyota Sienna Purchase
We just purchased a Toyota Sienna from Superior Van & Mobility. David was AMAZING throughout the entire process. Since we were purchasing from out of state, we needed more assistance with getting familiar with the van from afar, as well as transporting the van across state lines after purchase. David was so forthcoming and accommodating with our every request. Videos of the entire van (inside and out) were sent to give us an "in person" vantage point. The process was seamless thanks to the professionalism of David, as well as the other Superior Van & Mobility staff that made this purchase possible. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of a mobility vehicle.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!! I trusted them when they told me my sons chair would fit so we purchased a brand-new Chevy Traverse our first ever handicap vehicle. When we got his powerchair and realized that it didn't fit the first thing I did was contact Superior Van and Mobility thinking that they would make it right with us. WRONG!!! They never once backed up the fact that they said it would fit. Instead, they said it was a used car now and that I would be losing money on the buy back! It was not our fault, but we are the ones losing money because we trusted them. NEVER buy from them unless you have it in writing that the wheelchair will fit. These cars are already expensive and then to lose our hard-earned money because a company doesn't care about their customers or handicap families. Apparently, all they care about is getting a sale and making money off people. Shame on them! If I could give a rating lower, then this I would!

Calvin was really great to work with. He made everything about the purchase very clear and he is very friendly to work with. I traveled to purchase a van and we had a really great time during the transaction. He is an asset to the company.
The team in Fishers
The team in Fishers, Indiana were awesome to work with in helping me to find a replace Qstraint replacement strap needed. We have used Superior alot in the past and they are great with repairing our lifts. I would definitely recommend them to others.
Reeatablishing Mobility
Rear loading chair lift was lowered without trouble, then failed to function. Stranding me in my garage. I was unable to identify what was wrong. Called Superior Van & Mobility since they had installed it originally. Response was quick in coming, accurate in discovery of the problem caused by a broken wire, corrected the problem, and thereby enabling my mobility again. I appreciated the speed of repairs, and the politeness of agent.

when I first wrote I had a bad experience when they put in my hand controls to the point I had to put it in the shop plus i was treaded like I was a thief but when rob the general manager heard about what happen to me he was not happy to say the least. he called me personally and said he was sorry about what happen and he told me he would make it right and he did, he show me that superior van and mobility cared about their customers and promise me that it would not happen to anyone again. Rod show me that the customer come first in his place of business and that each and everyone will be treated with respect. with that I will do business next time with superior they are the best company you could ever find

A Great. Big Thank you, to Superior Van & Mobility at Lexington KY. We were traveling to the State Special Olympics. We had got out of the van, ramp went up, but the door wouldn't slide shut. We pushed, pulled, shook, and pressed buttons. Good thing we stopped at Cracker Barrel,Yum-O!!
