Used swapz many years ago and it was dodgy then. Just gone back on to sell a cheap car and it's even worse. Just full of people with no money swapping the same scrap and trying to make money without even trying. Every click brings up an advert that's basically AI porn. Imagine gumtree but far far worse.

The most annoying site ever you just get bombarded with pop ups.
Advertises guns and rifles dispite stating they dont.
Should you get a response from the people who use the site you are doing well.
Have a time limit of how long a advert can run i.e clean up years old adverts..
Check this site (take a interest) of all the scammers.

I was considering using Swapz to swap a car but their computer software is so bad I could not do so. When I complained and told them that their software was rubbish and asked them to get themselves organised, I was accused of making scolding and abrasive remarks. It would be a waste of your time to use this firm.

If I could give Zero stars, I would.

Came back on here after a while to see if this place has improved a bit and put a couple of motorbikes on there to test the waters.

It is still just as bad on there, full of the same old bellwhiff's that have zero interest in what you have, though it would be a different ballgame if you were giving something away or wanted to swap for some crappy car worth £300.

This site was the total opposite back in 2011 but seemed to start going downhill around 2015.

It's 2023 and still cars on there from 2013, I've been a member since 2009, I can even remember when it was a swap site.
Now it's full of wannabees who want to know what deal you're after, FFS it's a swap site.
One car per person unless registered as a business, some private individuals have 15 cars, Paul in admin is a waste of time he just don't care he has every chance of putting this right.

As most of reviews state, 10 to 15 years ago this was a great site full.of genuine swappers , now it's literally just full of morons. The website itself was great and still could be , its just let down by 99 percent of the absolute weapons that use the site.

This was a pretty good site about 10-12 years ago but over the years it seems all the decent, genuine users have jumped ship and is now full of deluded muppets who want something for nothing and overvalue their items.

And what is it with these bell-ends that message you just to say how nice your item is but that is all they say ?

Clearly there are a lot of d*cks on here now with too much time on their hands and clearly live sad, boring and pathetic lives and who still live with mummy and daddy.

Stick to ebay !

Swapz is run by Paul who is abusive disrespectful no wonder the site is full of Pedofiles Drug sellers and Gangsters listing there Hand Guns Small Machine Guns Knifes Swords Crossbows Etc yet if you complain,your abused by Paul and Removed from the Filthy site for trying to make it a safe place

timewasting chavs and dealers pretending to be private individuals trying to pawn their write off or stolen vehicles upon you
Paul in management removes your adverts for no reason other than some personal vendetta
Yet the same individuals can list a see main advert with foul language
Over and over day in day out
The swapz website should be shut down
I personally have Reported many many Adverts with Hand Guns Small Machine Guns Swords Crossbows many times yet these users are allowed to keep being active on the swapz site
But when you complain Paul abuses you telling you to Fu7k off
And closing your account
Yet the Fire arms are constantly listed

There staff are rude, they move your ads into other categories without notice. When you message them they go on to your advertising and delete it and move it. You can't make a complaint to anyone. Any decent Company that's worth there salt, has a function to report a representative. Not hear your just abused by some light minded idiot who is extremely brave over the airwaves.

I’ve been scammed on the site. Swapz is not responding or helping my case. They could at least hide my information from the scammer. But no.

swapz put my account in protected mode as thay say i did a irregular or false swapz as thay message me saying as i put in the other parties details and not my own when you swap something with someone it comes up put in details of you sending too not my details it wisent clear as a result my account now locked and will forever be locked because it wasn't clear enuff

i wouldent bother selling and buying from swapz waste of time the help team dont help and sometimes never reply even removed my listing as thay acused me i was listing twice but i dident have active listings as you see there so much wrong with swapz and i hope this helps you with deciding weather to use swapz or not i will never use them again and i hope you agree with me

Worst sites I have ever had to deal with, my information is not stored securely, they know your details and password. Also I contacted a person through the site, and asked for better pictures , because the person didn't upload the phone picture without its cover and had a screen protector on phone that had scratches, I asked to see the phone properly and suggested he take them off so I could see the phone it's self, well you don't sell a car with a cover on do you. And then I got a email and they barred my account lol useless app unless company. I believe it's run by incompetent people who are very biased.

After requesting to delete my account I was asked to verify my identity by providing the first and last letters of my password. This information should never be visible to an administrator and suggests they are stored insecurely.

You should assume that any information you send in messages, or add as account info is publicly accessible as I'm sure it will be at some point in the future.

You go on here, see something you like(I was looking at cars), scroll through th ad , THEN you get to the bottom. Date posted.
Lucky if it's less than 3yrs. What is the point if users don't delete when the deals done. Or have a auto delete after a certain length of time.

Ok if you want silly chavvy dreamers throwing odd swap ideas at you that are far less value than your swap then congrats this is the place for you .

Pay to bump listings? why? it was good when it started and even when you got a few free bumps over time but now they just want your money, its also now just full of junk and dodgy wheeler dealers and traders who want something for nothing or want to offload their rubbish.

*Update* I see less and less local adds, such a shame, this is what happens when you get greedy :(

When swapz was first started was a amazing site now it's down to virtually no one to what it used to be and is full of morons who think there 500 car is worth 2000 and havnt got the decency they were born with to reply to a I terest or swap proposal site wants closing down and for someone to open up another one who is going to take care pride pride in the site
