Ruined an amazing product. New version fails by midday.
I have been a loyal, long-term user of the Sweat Guard Extreme formula for years. It was the only product that consistently kept me dry and gave me my confidence back. Unfortunately, the new version (the scented Sea Moss roll-on in the new packaging) is a massive downgrade.
The company claims the core effectiveness hasn't changed, but the actual results prove otherwise. Even though I follow the new instructions perfectly and apply it twice a day (both morning and night), it completely fails. Every single day by 12:00 PM, I am breaking through it and sweating.
The original formula was a true, heavy-duty clinical block. This new version feels like a weak, regular cosmetic deodorant. They have clearly changed or diluted the formula to make it milder, completely ruining its strength for people who suffer from heavy sweating.
If you relied on the old Sweat Guard to keep you dry all day, do not waste your money on this new version. It does not work. I will be looking for a new clinical brand.

Won't Purchase Again
Ordered this product as it described being able to use it on the scalp, where I have bad sweats due to steroids. It stopped the sweat on top of the scalp, but the sweat then came out from lower areas, so this defeated the object. Then my hair went very stiff and horrible to touch. This is only my experience, others may be different, but I won't be purchasing again.

I’m really gutted
I’m really gutted. I bought a bulk order of sweat guard several months ago after it changed my life. Never in 36 years have I had dry armpits. I had for years worn only black and not long ago ordered a full autumn wardrobe full of colour, only to find that the new branding (and clearly new formula) has massively impacted the effectiveness of this antiperspirant. I am now living with drenched armpits like I did before. I am absolutely gutted. Please, please revert back to your old formula and bring back Sweat Guard Extreme. It’s back to black for me for now.

When I peeled off the fabric to remove, the backing of the pads stayed on the fabric so not sure whether to keep picking at it or to put in washing machine to soak off

I've seen the responses from Sweat Guard saying the formula hasn't changed - that may be the case, but I agree with others, it doesn't work as well. Coca Cola has the same recipe across its cans and glass and plastic bottles, yet everyone knows it tastes different...!

Sweat guard cream stick
Saw the details saying new formula new packaging and how they had improved the product, so ordered the cream stick pack of 3 as a previous user of the roll on and what a terrible product for me!!! Does not stop sweat my armpits are soaked this has no effect on me what so ever!!! Contacted customer service to just get told it’s the same as before and they know how disappointing it is to buy a 3 pack and it not be what it was!!! Will look to find another product!!!

We’re very sorry to hear that the Sweat Guard Cream Stick hasn’t given you the results you previously experienced with our roll-on, especially after being a long-standing customer. We completely understand how disappointing this must have been, particularly after purchasing a 3-pack.
As our Customer Care team explained via email, the Cream Stick does contain the same sweat-fighting ingredients; however, the overall formula is not exactly the same as our previous roll-on products, as it has been specifically formulated into a cream-based stick.
We appreciate that this distinction may not have been clear enough and apologise for any frustration or disappointment this has caused. As you had previously achieved good results with our roll-on, our recommendation was to return to the roll-on formula, which remains the same as the product you had used successfully in the past.

I've been a loyal customer for years
I've been a loyal customer for years. I ordered the roll on blush as i had ran out. I've been using it since july! They have definitely changed the formula. I emailed them stating that this one is not effective as the old purple one extreme. Not much help from customer service as they asked if im using the product correctly and they mentioned that nothing has changed! I do not believe this at all. I was confident before all this change, now im having to find a new product. These products are not cheap. Why change the formula when it was working for so many people. Im glad im not the only person who has noticed a different. I really do think a free trial should be given so that we can see if it works for us or not. Really disappointing sweat guard!!

Not impressed
Easy to order and delivered quickly and very securely packaged. The Serum leaves my skin feeling very sticky for what seems quite a long time. I'm careful not to use too much but, at the same time, you need to use enough to cover your face. The dropper is quite fiddly to control. The Matte Defence Cream is very thick, almost a paste, and takes some blending in although it is completely invisible afterwards. I haven't tried either whilst putting makeup on. Neither product seems to have had any impact on my facial sweating and I have used them religiously every morning and evening since receiving them. It hasn't been quite two weeks yet and I was advised to wait for 14 days before seeing results but I honestly expected seeing at least a slight improvement but so far there has been nothing. I will continue to use both products and hope for the best but, to be honest, I think I've wasted my money.
