Really positive experience with Tailfin from start to finish. The product itself is excellent, high-quality, well designed, and once fitted looks like part of the bike while remaining lightweight and solid on the road.

What stood out most, though, was the customer service. I ran into a few installation issues (completely down to me being new to bike mechanics), and the support team were brilliant. Quick responses, clear explanations, and genuinely helpful guidance. Dan in particular helped identify the issue straight away and pointed me to the right solution. Even arranged free delivery on a replacement part, which was a nice touch.

Their website is also packed with useful information. If you take the time to read through it, most questions are already answered, which shows how much thought has gone into the customer experience.

Once everything was sorted, the system has been faultless. Stable, reliable, and performs exactly as expected, even in poor weather.

Not a cheap product, but the quality, support, and overall experience make it worth the investment.

Excellent customer service. There is also no products anywhere near as good as their carbon racks on the market. Plus they look really good even on a racing bike.

Ive owned a tailfin carbon rack for a few years now and love it, for what ever reason the threading had seized with my rear hanger. I contacted tailfin and they were ever so understanding and helpful, offered to have my bike sent to them, or take to a local bike shop and they would reinburse me.. that, they did.. without quibble, also sent out a new axel with a couple extra bits as a way of an apology.. blown away. I cant speak highly enough on the quality of products these guys produce and their aftersales care is second to none.. in tailfin i trust, i have nothing but love for this company, they do things right.. thank you

Have ordered several items. They were delivered after 3 days despite the order being from another country. Product has been tested for several months and works flawlessly and without errors. I have also returned items, as after receiving because it was not what I had imagined. Returned a friendly email that the money was returned, all within 5 days. This is the first place I will look for when I need cycling gear. Highly recommended.

I bought axle without a rack, I wanted to cancel and redo it with rack. Even though I used thier procedure on the page to cancel order it took them one week to answer and axle was sent anyway.

Possibility of buying sole rack was removed from the shop and support told me to either buy rack with 2nd axle and then return the axle (and waste money to send package back) or buy seperate parts which are more expensive than rack with axle in bundle.

Each mail took one week to answer, reaching conclusion took 2 months. My opinion on Tailfin is bad, they are inflexible and stuck in procedures.

Finnaly I bought Ortlieb XL quick rack and put it on Tailfin axle.

Bought an aeropack with panniers and carbon arch and will buy all my bags from Tailfin in the future. I thought that there was a piece missing in my package, but it just fell out of the box, while unpacking and even though I wrote a not so nice mail to the customer support, they replied fast and professionally. The Bags are out of this world. I still can't believe how sturdy everything is. Every time I ride over a large bump I brace for the wobble I know and hate from traditional seat packs, but there is nothing, not even a rattle. Looking forward to buying more bags in the future!

Excellent product and customer support. Having tried both Toppeak and Cyclite, I have to say that Tailfin produces the most high-end and thought-through bikepacking products I've ever used! Bought an Aeropack, 2x 5l mini-paniers, small downtube & toptube bag, and the 3.8l frame bag. All absolutely excellent in quality and function. Just zero rattle - rock solide, even on very rough gravel, almost seems glued to the frame! And you don't even need frame protection tape like with other brands, that make your bike look kind of weird when you take off a full kit. Only downside I could think of is 1. Price (quality costs money people!) and 2. A bit heavier than Cyclite (which is more than compensated for by zero rattle, zero leg rub, perfect one-handed zipper-action and absolute waterproofing). Also, their customer support is very forthcoming. Yes, they take 3-5 days to respond but with a solution and do everything for you, even taking care that you don't pay for import or anything else. Very happy with Tailfin!

I bought a 1ltr top tube box for my new Cervelo Aspero. The one supplied with the bike - although it looked good - was too small to be of any practical value. It wouldn’t even fit your ‘phone inside. I decided to replace it with a Tailfin box after looking at all the options online. I bought the flip-top version and it’s absolutely brilliant. Ok., they’re not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for. It’s a superb bit of kit and a perfect size for my gravel bike. Delivery was extremely fast too. I’m absolutely thrilled with it and highly recommend this company and brand. If I ever venture into the bike packing world then I’ll definitely buy my luggage from Tailfin.

They make very nice stuff, very well thought out, you can tell it's been designed by a rider/bikepacker.
the top tube bag & cargo cages are incredible and well worth the money.
I will hopefully get the rack one day, but for now funds will not allow.
Need to get better at Instagram so they might sponsor my adventures. 😂

I bought a carbon aero rack with bag about 12 months ago now. In that time I have had a couple of problems likely of my own doing, the biggest issue was that the bag fell into the rear wheel and got all bent out of shape, I must not have done up the clamp correctly as this is the first time that has happened in dozens of bike packing trips and it happened in the first few minutes of riding.

I contacted tailfin and explained what happened, they responded quickly and sent me out a replacement part, free of charge, without me even asking, I would have just paid for a replacement part.

Excellent service and really what I expected of a more premium brand.

As for their actual products, I have found them exactly as described and do the job well. I have other bike packing bags and will simply never go back to seatpost bags again. They not only sway all over the place but they hold less. Not worth the lower price for me.
