Awful journalism, regurgitation of articles, it’s basically an advertising site with no honest reviews

Trying to buy a printer that uses MacBook Air. Tech radar had several recommendations claiming high performance, only, the reviews on those products were awful! Why the disconnect? $$$? It seems it’s no longer trustworthy.

I used to trust Techradar, and it was my go-to for any tech-related reviews. But the content quality has decreased, and the final straw today was the fact that none of the posted voucher codes injst searched for are valid. The Techradar page claims it was updated today, and that the codes are current. But it's clearly just to drive traffic to the site.

Too many pop-up adverts! I get that they need ads in order to keep the office lights on, but fck me dude.

It’d be better to just have the ads on the sides of the articles, while allowing us to zoom in on the text. Rather than throwing pop-up ads at us every 10 seconds.

Tech Radar keep on sending me pop-ups on my computer screen. I don't think that I am stupid, but I don't know how to get rid of this shit. I would very much appreciate any help on this stupid problem. Anders Svenhed
P.S. I have a brother and a brother in-law who are good friends. Maybe any of these chaps can help a desperat e relative.

Professionally written, no doubt about that. But heavily biased towards Apple products. And therefore untrustworthy. Possibly AI generated content.

They bent their words. The best part is they're on one sided of the coin. I noticed all their article headline are missing leading. They pretend two be fair when reporting the news, but 3/4 of down their news article true colours are shown with all the dark tinted rainbow.
This is 101 for reporting news no?
News articles should report verifiable facts and should not include opinion, bias, or misinformation.

Apparently TecRadar takes some sort of kickbacks from Samsung because if try to criticize Samsung (without profanity, threats, or anything remotely questionable) your post is censored from posting! Definitely will be boycotting this garbage site going forward, already blocked them from my Google feed. My advice to TecRadar is just don't accept comments whatsoever if you are going to be censoring all criticism of companies you take kickbacks from. You will seem a lot less like the big tech authoritarians you actually are. Anyhow happy to contribute to your ONE star review, well deserved!

Just when you think this site couldn't get any worse. I've not been on it for a while, but:

The content is absolutely dreadful. There is nothing of interest to read. Their hatred towards Musk has become very boring now. It's just a bunch of ex-writers with gripes. They should just give up on this and go and find something more constructive instead.

Techradar helped me at first, but now it turns out that a lot of the things they add on their website makes no sense at all.

be careful of their top lists. as they list any software. I think they list the software that pays them. I tried the number one software they recommended for file recovery but the site was a scam and their software doesn't work at all. The software is EaseUS (do not pay for this app) And do not trust anything from Techradar.

Plus they do not have a comment section on their site. The email they list is incorrect as well.

I used to read TechRadar (TR) as one of my prime technology news sources, but in the last few years, their relentless bashing of Microsoft/Windows and deification of Apple has repelled me from them.

Yes, Windows/Microsoft isn't perfect, but neither is Apple. Both systems and platforms appeal to different types of user groups, which means many nuances and complexities to consider when observing them. To do so in the unnuanced, reductive, and embarrassingly fanboyistic way TR does is rather unbecoming of a supposedly reputable news source.

Sadly, though, TR still pop up quite high in my searches whenever I seek reviews of upcoming tech. I just skip them now. Having read the other reviews on here about other cringey practices they partake in, I'm surer my dismissal is a wise choice.

If this is the tech radar doing the reviews on the NUKI lock it must have been a paid advertisement as has no resemblance to what the NUKI does in real life

Techradar is misleading potential customers looking for a Black Friday VPN deal by stating that the likes of Nord, Surfshark etc are giving FREE extra months with their offers whereas they are just giving extra months that you have to pay for and are included in their stated prices...

Biased, superficial and technically inaccurate untrustworthy reporting.. If they used to have any credibility it has now been well and truly compromised.

Many of their writers are known in the industry as 'guns for hire' - who produce negatively slanted or biased articles to manipulate public sentiment on behalf of the biggest names in the tech industry.

It doesn't take long to pick up on this overall technically inaccurate and negative editorial bias.
