I went on Tecovis website and looked at a pair of boots. That was it now they continuously send me emails and I have continuously asked them not to but they have ignored me so I give this company a D minus for harassment and will certainly never buy a product from them in the future.
Shocking customer service and terrible quality of boots!!!!
I bought a pair of the doc in Bison on December 20th and have worn them a couple times and the internal heel liner of right boot has come away from the heel leading it to pinch up and practically be unwearable. I contacted customer service about this and since I’m from the uk they say I have to pay for postage and all fees to exchange/replace FAULTY BOOTS. Boots that cost $355 should not be unwearable after two wears. They then tried to offer a 20% refund saying a cobbler can fix them. I’ve asked about no cobbler can guarantee it’ll last. Boots that cost that much should not be faulty, should be offered a replacement free of charges!!!!
Poor Experience with Performance Snap Shirt
While their boots and belts (although boots are wide) are high quality - their performance snap short sleeve shirt is Not high quality. The snap closures popped off of mine after just a couple of washings. You won't see this in the reviews because it appears that they only post 4 and 5 star reviews until they have a critical mass of reviews to bury the bad ones, or at least they haven't posted my 1 star review! Also if it's past 30 days they make you jump through hoops to prove it's their quality issue! I will be avoiding their apparel Indefinitely.

I own 3 pair of boots, and my wife has multiple dresses from Tecovas I was absolutely going to be a lifelong customer, until I ordered a pair as a gift for my stepfather. When they arrived, they were too narrow. I ordered an exchange, and shipped them back immediately. The exchange never came. I kept looking on the website for my exchange, and nothing came up for a month plus. It said their warehouse was having issues. I finally wrote about it in their chat, and found out they didn’t have the correct size. Instead of letting me know, they just held my money. The chat took forever to find out that they couldn’t make things right. They held my money, with no intention of refund or notice, just hoping I would forget about it. Now my father-in-law has no gift a month later, and Tecovas absolutely refused to try to make things right. I will NEVER buy from Tecovas again, and I hope this review holds people back from making the same mistake. This website is absolutely untrustworthy.

I contacted Tecovas regarding a pair of boots I purchased for $279 after a small rip developed in the leather near the arch/heel area within a few months. Based on the location and appearance, it seemed consistent with a potential material issue rather than standard wear.
Initially, I was informed that manufacturer defects may be covered under warranty and was asked to submit photos for review. After review, I was told the damage appeared to be water related and normal wear and tear, and therefore not covered. I was also advised that the boots appeared worn and that their age could not be determined.
I have owned and worn leather boots for many years and have not experienced this type of tear before. While I understand companies must follow policy guidelines, I was disappointed that there was no alternative solution offered — such as repair assistance or a goodwill accommodation.
Given the brand’s emphasis on craftsmanship and durability, I expected a more customer-focused resolution process. This experience has influenced my view of the company’s warranty support.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my wife and I received at the Tacovas store located in the Tanger Outlets in Sevierville, Tennessee.
We entered the store intending to purchase boots for both of us. There were approximately five sales associates present. One associate briefly asked if we needed help and then walked away. As we continued browsing, we asked multiple times whether ostrich boots were available in my size. Each time, different associates responded dismissively, stating that “whatever is on the shelves is what we have,” and then walked away without offering further assistance.
During this time, we observed one associate providing very attentive, personalized service to another (non-Hispanic) couple—answering questions, checking inventory, and actively assisting them. In contrast, my wife and I, who are Hispanic, were repeatedly ignored despite clearly asking for help. At one point, I tried on three different pairs of boots and made eye contact with sales staff, only for them to look away.
What made this experience even more troubling was that the associate assisting the other couple actually asked his coworkers to help me, and they still chose not to engage. At that point, feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and unwelcome, we left the store without making a purchase.
This was not a matter of the store being busy or understaffed—it was a clear difference in how customers were treated. The experience made us feel singled out and disregarded.
I contacted your 1-800 customer service line afterward. While the representative apologized verbally, no follow-up was provided—no email, no acknowledgment, no corrective action, and no attempt to make things right. It felt dismissive and left the impression that my concern was simply brushed aside.
This was the first formal complaint I have ever made about a retail experience, and it is deeply disappointing that it involved a brand I had expected to represent quality and professionalism. Based on this experience, I do not feel comfortable shopping at Tacovas again.

Sold me merchandise they didn’t have in stock and then handled the situation terribly, creating a terrible holiday experience. Customer service is flat out incompetent and rude. Unwilling to solve problems. Wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy
Bought a pair of boots a few years ago…
Bought a pair of boots a few years ago now and still love them. I don't wear more than a few hours a week, but they've held up great for what they've been through and look really good. Definitely feel like the quality was worth the value. Went back this November for some apparel and am happy with it.
You get what you pay for!

Comfortable and easy break in but with quality issues.
1) first 3 months one of the heel counters losing formation and annoying.
2) first year, had to cement heel cap as rubber was lifting off heel.
3) within year and half, dark blue color of of shaft has faded to grey.

I have 4 Tecovas with a fifth on the way. I have only pleasant things to say. Comfortable quality good looking products at decent prices. Customer service has always done right by me.
Quality and customer service
I now have 5 pair of boots from Tecovas. All are well made and very comfortable. Their customer service was fantastic on the one pair I returned (due to improper fit), the return and refund were processed very quickly. Their shipping is quick, it has never taken more than 5 days to receive an order. Most have been delivered in 3-4 days. I’m sure that I’ll be ordering from them again.
Boots would not fit won’t honor pre Christmas price when returned for another!
Purchased boots as a Christmas present for my son who has wide feet. Ordered wide boots but he could not get into them. Returned boots and while on route noticed they have a zipper version and they would not allow me to exchange.
Would not honor the discount I got when I purchased pre Christmas told me to repurchase at full price!
