First time visiting the new Tenpin in Wakefield with my Daughter and it was brilliant! Thought everything was well thought out and loads of room to walk about in between different games, also the staff was great too

Great facility
First time we have visited the Tenpin in Wakefield - great to have a new tenpin facility in the city. Very impressed with the facilities there - 24 lanes for bowling plus lots of other arcade games. Had some gift vouchers to use but the online booking system doesn’t accept gift vouchers, so I had to phone to book our lane - luckily there was no fee for our booking. Enjoyable bowling experience - would recommend. Would be even better if parking in Trinity Walk was free with a tenpin booking.

Really had a good time at the brand spanking new Tenpin in Wakefield. It's really what the area needed and was great bowling with undamaged bowling balls and bowling isles.

We were disappointed with our visit
We were disappointed with our visit. During one of our games, the scoring system stopped responding, which meant we had to wait for a member of staff to come over and eventually move us to another lane. As we had only booked a one-hour slot, this ate into our playing time.
Initially, we weren’t given the lost time back, so I had to go and ask for our session to be extended. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem particularly attentive, and having to find someone and explain the situation again wasted even more of our allocated time.
Overall, the experience felt rushed and poorly managed. Based on our visit, I wouldn’t recommend booking just a one-hour slot, as any technical issue or delay significantly reduces the amount of time you actually get to play.

Only 2 minor negative was don’t have larger bowling balls - finger holes were too small for my husband. Also, took time to find help when our lane had a problem.

Booked for 5.30 did not get in til 6pm sat round waiting to go into laser tag for video to be 10 mins long and only get 15 mins actually playing kids were disappointed

Enjoyable experience
Clean, bright, no queues, friendly staff, plenty of choice for things to do for a fun night out...only downside was bowling balls need to go up to XL fingerholes as my friend struggled to get his fingers in large holes, we asked staff but they confirmed large was biggest they have available.

Totally brilliant experience after 3 visits. Staff so helpful. Exceptionally clean facilities and arcade prices reasonable. Air hockey,pool ,table tennis great time fillers,fun and reasonable. Boys loved laser tag and bowling too. An all round great time

Visited today for the first time in Wakefield tenpin.. what an awesome place ,clean and tidy, arcade games a quid , bowling was brilliant, toilets clean , will definitely be visiting again .Just what Wakefield needed.
