I had a great experience with using The Moving Portal for organising a level 3 survey on the property I am purchasing. The online platform is particularly useful for staying in touch with the team who were always attentive and responded quickly. The team worked quickly to a tight deadline and went above and beyond to make sure I received the report in time. Would highly recommend!

I received fast and efficient service. The surveyor appointed was excellent and comprehensive, it was easy to contact him to speak about the report and his responses to my questions were informative and very helpful. Overall a very good experience and well worth the fee!

The overall experience with Moving Portal was good. They passed on my case to Elite Surveyors Limited. The booking process and the survey itself were so smooth. I never had to follow up once. When I booked, I was given a date after Martin from Elite coordinated with the sellers. One day before the survey, Moving Portal sent me a reminder. On the day itself, Martin gave me a call asking if I wanted him to look at something specific; gave me a report the very next day report. And the report was detailed and highlighted all the right points. Highly recommend.

Booked a level 3 survey, which although insightful, was often vague or inconclusive, even after a follow up call. Lots of references to contacting a specialist to gain further information. So much not tested and therefore automatically highlighted as needing attention. Not sure what I gained for the money over a level 2 survey really. It was useful to raise some issues that I could go back to the owner to gain more information. But they gave me more answers than the survey in some cases! A lot of money for less of an insight than I had hoped.

I would highly recommend using this company. The report was extremely detailed and as I was looking to buy a real project property it was very very helpful. I ended up pulling out of the buying process as there was a lot of issues the survey picked up that I couldn’t see.

Company admin called me on the same day as the survey was requested to discuss my needs and any specific concerns or requirements I had. Surveyor (Roshan) called me on the day of the survey to check these and whether I had anything further. Also talked through what to expect from him - confirmed he would call to advise if anything adverse discovered as may take a few days for the full report to be prepared. Once the report was received he called again and was happy to clarify anything I was not sure of. Excellent and prompt service - highly recommend and would use again.
