Kamil our driver was very friendly and informative, as well as helpful and punctual. Good driver for our tour to the Bochnia salt mines. Information provided before pickup was excellent. Salt mines tour lasts pretty much all day and involves a lot of walking underground with audio guides and accompanying mine guide. Mirek was also with us from another tour bus from 1000Miles and gave lots of info and took pictures which were shared with the group. This tour focuses more on the histoy of Poland, salt mining in general and this particualr mine. Perhaps a little long but still interesting. Ate our lunch at the underground cafe - zurek soup is delish! Lots of carvings and chapels, lots of interactive, multimedia displays and artefacts. Good day, if a little long. Boat and train ride included too!

Our guide Michal was amazing on the zakopane trip, he was thorough, exact, gave the correct amount of information needed without over loading people, and he did this in a gradual way as we progressed throughout the day. He was polite, happy, approachable if someone in the party needed something. He made the day even more enjoyable.

A brilliant guided tour led by the fabulous Fabian who greeted everyone with a smile and a handshake ably assisted by Stanley our super safe driver. We squeezed so much into one day. The journey itself was itself pleasurable because of the scenic bus ride through beautiful Polish countryside. We haven't seen so many trees and mountains since we went to Canada in 2012. A timely comfort break had been scheduled before we got to our first short stop at Chocholow. Lots of information from Fabian regarding the history of the wooden houses. The free tasters of vodka and cheese, although small was most enjoyable and welcome. We sampled 3 different flavours of vodka, all were very nice. Our journey continued onto Zakopane for our ride up the mountain by funicular railway. Gorgeous views as you would expect. A trifle commercialised but to be expected. Places to eat and drink at the top of the mountain especially if you choose to walk the long 'esplanade' of booth's selling all manner of merchandise. We had a delicious meal in the town before we left Zakopane. One thing that is not a part of the trip is the single seat sledge down the twisty 'cresta' run. Given more time, one that we would have done. The final part of the tour was the thermal baths 45 minutes away with plenty of time, 2 hours, to enjoy all the different aspects including the slides and the pools. A modern and beautiful swimming complex with a state of the art technical locker system to store your clothes and a wrist band to allow access to the lockers and to purchase food and drink without having to have money on your person.

All in all a great tour, well organised and guided. Good value for money. Well done Thousand Miles Krakow.

I have booked a shooting activity today and been informed that it starts at 9:45 am. I have a told that i have a flight to catch in the afternoon and been informed that i will be able to make it. The day before it, i have got a message saying that the pick up time is late and and i wont be able to catch the flight and wont be able to catch it even if start at the previously informed time. I have asked to cancel it and been told that they wont be able to cancel in short notice, eventhough the information was given to me in short notice.

Vi bookede og betalte en tur til Auschwitz med afhentning på vores hotel- efterfølgende blev vi desværre nødt til at aflyse hele vores rejse pga. at Ryanair aflyste vores fly. På trods af min. 6 e-mails til arrangøren har jeg intet svar fået tilbage og heller ikke beløbet på de ca. 1000 kr. 😡

Did the Zakapone tour on 5/3/25.Brilliant day out from start to finish.Both Simon and John the driver were great .Beautiful places to see ,great laughs at the Spa.Couldnt fault it.Worth every penny.

Thousand Miles is a local Krakow tour operator owned by two young entrepreneurs who have in just a few years catapulted into one of Krakow’s most highly rated & reliable tour agencies. They offer excellent excursions, transfers, walking tours & activities for a very fair price. I found Thousand Miles through a Google search of Krakow tour operators. I read online reviews and theirs were consistently excellent. Raters commented on their small group tours, excellent organization & communication, hearing devices for walking tours, knowledgeable English/speaking guides, safe drivers and, most importantly, competitive pricing (especially after you get a 10% discount should if book everything with them directly). Read on.

Send them an email and ask for a discount explaining you will book everything with them. Their prices are nearly identical to those offered by third party sites (e.g., GetYourGuide & Viator) BUT by booking directly, you’ll get that discount which you won’t get if you book through third party sites. Non-brained.

I ended up booking my entire 6-day visit to Krakow with Thousand Miles to get the discount. (Their email is on their website). I booked my airport transfers (both ways), Salt Mines & Zakopane (spectacular) excursions, Schindlers Museum, Rynak Underground Museum and the walking tours through the Jewish Quarter Kazimierz, the Wawel Castle/Cathedral & the Old Town. On each activity, I had knowledgeable guides who spoke English well. We were provided with hearing devices on each walking tour. In the end, I saved quite a bit as the discount applied to each tour, excursion and transfer.

I rarely recommend a tour operator but my experience with Thousand Miles was great and … I paid approximately 10% less than had I book with a third party travel activity site.

We had a great day out to Zakapone with our guide Tomek. He is was very friendly and everything ran smoothly. Would highly recommend.

We have used this company twice now .once last year to visit Auschwitz and today to visit. Zakopane and the thermal spa .Both times they have been excellent in their service .Kept us up to date with messages of what’s happening and the tour guide Margaret was lovely and very informative.
The whole experience was great.I would 100 recommend and use this company again .

We did the trip to Zakopane with thermal baths and it was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Pawel made the experience so much better by being so welcoming and accommodating for everyone’s needs. Highly recommend this company and tour guide! He arrived exactly on time and made everything run so smoothly

Boek NOOIT een excursie bij deze organisatie!
Wij hadden een excursie naar Auschwitz -Birkenau geboekt. Op de dag van vertrek zouden we om 9 uur opgehaald worden bij het hotel. Om 8.50 stonden we buiten. Om 9.15 was er nog niemand. Toen we belden werd er gezegd dat de chauffeur er elk moment zou zijn. Hierna werden we terug gebeld met de mededeling dat de chauffeur ons had gebeld om door te geven dat hij eerder zou zijn, maar dat we niet hadden opgenomen. Later werd er van gemaakt dat we ons telefoonnummer verkeerd hadden doorgegeven. Opvallend dat er meteen werd gezegd dat ze bewijsmateriaal hadden verzameld. Een ander opvallend punt was dat er genoemd wordt dat de chauffeur om 8.57 weg reed bij het hotel, terwijl wij om 8.50 buiten stonden..
We voelen ons opgelicht!

Fantastic day out at zakopane highly recommend! Such value for money. Great to see and do things you wouldn’t normally be able to get to on your own. Our tour guide and driver were amazing!!!!! Ari and sebastian (I think) if you’re going to book anything while in krakow please book to go zakopane with this company!

The guys made our krakow experience special. Great arrangement of go karting followed by vip entrance and drinks to the best club that we wouldn’t have gone in without them. Would use again.

Thousand Miles call themselves an 'adventure company', and they definitely live up to the hype. Much cheaper than other companies, and loads of activities to choose from. We did shooting, go-karts, and got our stag fake 'arrested' (so, so funny). Top stuff, and would defo use them again.

Great trip! Shooting is the best activity, we choose advanced weapons. 50 shots are defenitly enough.
