I ordered and paid for tiles £800. And now they are bankrupt the store I place the order contacted me to collet when I got there the doors were closed and I won’t get my tiles or money back I have no idea who the administrator is. I can’t afford to get any more tile

Visited the Croydon store today and Brandon was welcoming, polite and extremely helpful. He went over and above to help find the tiles I was looking for. Thank you!

Recently placed an order for some samples through their website. I was really happy with the product and placed the order. Easy website to navigate and excellent customer service. Tiles look fantastic in the bathroom!

To Cody.F who left a 1 star review… was wondering how you called and ordered tiles from the Poole branch when they got closed down in October yet your review is for this month.
The store hasn’t been open for 8 weeks.

Do not use this company many stores are in the process of shutting down in September purchased 700 £ worth of tiles to do bathroom and always a problem with delivery but was fine as haven't started project then realising I need more call up the poole store to order more and was told if pay £50 extra can guarantee delivery within two days ! So I did pay another £310 to include the extra tiles and fast delivery so gave card details over the phone , very next day realised I had again no email confirmation so called the store the line was dead they had shut down the very next day ! I was extremely stressed and panic called all other stores who can not find my order now speaking to customer service via email which is useless keep asking for head office and they say they have passed it on ,this has been going on for months now spend nearly £1000 and no tiles -finally they found my first order and said it was picked up which it wasn't, and they said they can not send the tiles I've choose because they no longer supply them and come from Spain, so my next step is to contact fraud team from my bank basically my only option.stay well clear

I ordered 4 tiles online, paid with PayPal. I've had no confirmation that the order has been received, nothing from a courier to inform me of delivery. The PayPal transaction came out as Stiled rather than Tile Giant but I know I was on the legit website as I applied a discount coupon which essentially covered the cost of delivery - otherwise I would have gone to my local store to collect them. I've raised a dispute with PayPal but the company still haven't responded. I'm gutted, the tiles are beautiful and I thought I was going with a reputable company but sadly I've been let down and am seemingly out to the tune of £211, as well as knock on impact of having to delay my bathroom installation.

We went to your Lincoln branch for the second time today. We were helped by Dave G, who was very friendly, cheerful & patient. The variety of tiles was amazing & Dave G deserves employee of the month for the service he delivers for you. We would recommend you to everyone.

Exceptional service from all staff in the Norwich branch-Jack, Ian and Chris. They went above and beyond on helping us choose the right tiles and making sure everything went smoothly from start to finish with the purchase. Would highly recommend going to tile giant in norwich as these guys are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating and will go out of their way to help!

Unfortunately the tiler we booked to do all our bathrooms D K Didwell Ceramic Tiling @dkdidwelltiling was awful.

Damian Didwell guaranteed the tiles and grout would never crack. We have floating floors and he said he would put concrete boards down first which would prevent cracking.

He brought his builder friend with him and told us they would organise everything between themselves and the plumber to do all works required.

Sequence promised -
Builder to remove tiles & prep walls.
Plumber to move & replace pipes. Plumber to plumb in both baths.
Damian to prepare floor with concrete boards.
Damian to tile.
Plumber to continue with plumbing.
Builder to fit vanity units etc.

He completely mismanaged the whole project.
The plumber was not booked in.
Damian passed the job of laying the concrete boards to the builder.
Damian tiled the bathroom without any plumbing so the bath would not fit back flush against the wall and we had to purchase a new one. The new radiators did not fit as the pipes were not moved.
Damian tiled the bathroom without any care for the end result even though he said everything would be done properly before he started to tile.
He complained about the poor workmanship his friend did everyday, even though he told us to use him. He also told us he had taken on another large job and that was probably the reason his workmanship was inadequate.

There is a large step to get into the bathroom due to all the adhesive he put on the floor to try and level it. The floors are still not level. He said he would cut the door down to fit but did not.

He did not order enough tiles for the bathroom and when asked if he had enough as he knew they were out of stock online- he said he wouldn’t know until the last day which left us without enough tiles. Again the guys at Tile Giant were amazing. They knew we were completely let down because of Damian and they contacted the warehouse and found the last 4 and got them delivered as soon as they could!

Damian walked out of the job leaving:
one bathroom that needs plumbing & fitting. One bathroom that needs plumbing, fitting and tiling, one bathroom that needs a full renovation and the whole downstairs prepped and tiled.

We purchased all materials and tiles that we will no longer need as he walked out because the job was poorly executed from start to finish.

He said he left because he felt we blamed him for the problems the other tradesmen caused as the standard of work was unsatisfactory. The reason we booked him was because he promised a professional top quality service which was not provided.

We requested Damian return the tiles/boards/adhesives etc as he has a van and they were purchased for him to complete the job. He refused!

We have offered to pay him minus the collection fee even though he walked out of the job and did not provide what he guaranteed. He will not accept this and has threatened to take us to court when we have been advised that it is us who should be taking him to court for breach of contract.

Apparently floating floors that have lots of movement can only really be guaranteed by taking them up entirely and not just putting concrete boards over the top which was what he was going to do.

Please be cautious in getting someone experienced to quote for any works and not someone who will promise and guarantee things they cannot deliver.

Wonderful company. Been shopping there for years, they have the best range of grout colours, good range of tiles at good price.

Terry at Brixton is a wonderful manager who cares and makes the shopping trip a real pleasure. We need more Terry's in this world. He is a credit to tile giant thank you .

Tile giant have great choice of tiles and grout, better than anywhere else I have been.

Terry from the Brixton store helped me with such kindness to choose the right products and get them in the car. He is a real credit to the giant and I wish there were more kind people like him in the world

As a former employee for tile Giant:

A really really poorly ran company.
Bills never settled with suppliers which resulted in customers waiting up to 4 weeks for orders and stores were never told of these ‘issues’ which would result in stores getting many complaints.
Other suppliers, well they got rid off a brand which traders LOVED for a brand that was rubbish and no one liked plus twice the price and then would go weeks without getting the stock in resulting in huge losses to the store.
Company then went into administration resulting in no rent being paid and I ended up with a debt collector at my store, looked like rent hadn’t been paid for couple months before administration was applied.
So why did I apply for this job?
Well having re located I needed a job and the tile industry is my thing so when I was told how much the company was/has improved and how good my store was, I was in dream land…. Then I started and wow what a pile of rubbish. From day 1 I knew it wasn’t as I was told.

Anyway, my store is now closed down.. oh and I was told about store closure on the DAY IT WAS BEING SHUT DOWN.. who the hell does that to its staff when they have been working tirelessly to improve the look in store and get money in…. Had the company not been run the way it is, I’m sure the money would have been flowing nicely so here I am 22 days after being closed down, still nowhere near finding a job and struggling to pay my mortgage and feeding my 3 children.
Shame on you Tile Giant and co.
The lies and everything else is just not acceptable in anyway.

Brilliant customer service. Ease of ordering, prompt delivery. 2 tiles had slight damage. Informed customer service and they sent replacement within 48 hours. Would definitely recommend this company. 5*

I Asked for information on a tile I had seen in a branch a while ago and I got a very quick and informative response from Matthew who told me although tile now not available there are some tiles at the Brixton branch so I am hopeful I can buy them all

After browsing at a Tile Giant local store I bought online and paid for a pallet delivery. I was very satisfied with the delivered tiles, well wrapped and all intact looking great once applied.
However, I bought too many tiles and decided to return the surplus boxed and unopened. The conditions Tile Giant stipulate prohibit returning goods to a nearest store instead shipped to their main warehouse in Wolverhampton. I had to pay for carriage. The correspondence with Tile Giant's internet sales advisor was coherent and competent and I promptly received a refund for the returned goods.

Don’t use this company terrible returns policy. I spoke to a nice man in the south shields branch who told I could return any unused tiles, even single tiles. Even the sample tile I bought.

I ordered them online as not in stock at the store. I ordered an extra pack just in case I ran short.

I have one unopened pack of tiles.

I requested to return the unopened pack of tiles, to be told in the most rude one sentence reply. No you can’t return a partial order.

So I have a £70 pack of tiles for nothing.

Terrible customer service. Do not buy your tiles here
