My husband passed away on 6/28 and I’ve been unable to get any information in reference to his policy. This is heart breaking that I can’t get information about his policy during this time. Also, they’re leaving the most insensitive voicemails in reference to my inquiries. This is unacceptable

We have whole life insurance through TruStage since 2021 and have automatic payments set up. Never had any issues until this month July 2026! They did not take payment this month! I have been trying to reach TruStage for over a week with every phone number I can find related to them! With no resolve of anyone answering! I hear they are having tech issues! But don't understand why you can't even reach them by phone! It's been more than a week for repairs! What's going on? Makes me Nervous! This is their mistake, no fault on us! Darrell

I want to cancel my policy and I want a refund the next stage is getting hold of a lawyer and finding out what I need to do because I'm getting no good answer from Trustage.. should not be taking you this long to fix your cyber problems

Horrible customer service and non USA based call centers.

I am trying to connect with TruStage (CMFG Life Insurance Company) for last 10 days to cancel my AD&D policy. But no luck. I could not able to connect neither my online account and not able to connect over the phone to the customer care which they have provided online. Very worst service. Please don't go with TruStage (CMFG Life Insurance Company) for any type of insurance. Very very worst Insurance provider.

Do I need to cancel my policy and will I get my money back. No one is reaching out. Have I been scammed. Should I get in touch with a lawyer

I made this post yesterday and for some reason it was removed. So I’m posting it again due the cybersecurity issue that’s going on willing the following happened? And can someone please respond .Will policies be canceled or lapse because customers cannot make payments during the system outage? If a policy lapses and must be reinstated, will the two-year contestability period restart? Will coverage remain active, and will customers receive refunds or credits for payments affected by the outage? Please explain exactly how you are protecting policyholders.

ETHOS LIFE is a TOTAL SCAM. I was tricked by one of their agents to switch my policy to them after pretending to be my current policy’s company. As soon as I realized what was going on I had them cancel the policy with 10 minutes of signing up. At that point they refused to cancel the payment. They refused to let me talk to a supervisor, told me they would call me within 48 business hours and they withdrew the money out of my checking account. They told me they couldn’t cancel the payment even though it was cancelled within 10 min after they fraudulently signed me up they said it could take a week for a refund. I teach continuing education for agents and adjusters and in my state they are required to take 3 hours of ethics. I’m not sure if their state requires it or not, but if they do it’s obviously they didn’t attend or pay attention. I am also contacting the insurance commissioner and the Attorney General of California. Finally spoke to a supervisor and was told even though I cancelled in 10 minutes it would be 15 DAYS until I got a refund. Let me repeat I was fraudulently signed up on a policy in which I cancelled within 10 minutes and THEY WON'T GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK FOR 15 DAYS!!

I have been trying to file a claim since 07/12/2026 haven't gotten in touch with anyone from bad business.

TruStage claims to be hacked and cannot be reached via internet or telephone. Not even sales agents.

Wake up people. Our money is GONE. This is a SCAM. My premium is due today, and they're more than happy to advise me it will be cancelled if not paid today - but there is no avenue open in which to make a payment.

One everybody gets cancellation notices and starts to shout - it's too late. Every asset is off-shore by now.

I have contacted this company several time without any real results. It's going into the second month now. She has a life insurance policy with this company. I submitted all of the documents they asked for and i haven't gotten any useful information from them. I had to pay for my mother's funeral out of pocket. This is a sad feeling to loose a love one and this life insurance hasn't done it's part in all this time.

Site has been down for 5 days now. Unacceptable, someone it IT needs fired. Hope appropriate measures are taken to hold those accountable for this incompetence.

Have tried to reach their customer service since July 10, 2026 to enroll in Whole Life Plan. No telephone contact or website contact giving me the impression that either the company is non-existent or its a fraud.
Reading all the past reviews from other customers, I have decided not to do any business with TruStage.

The process was very easy to navigate and explained everything very clearly

Garbage Website! Won't allow you to create an online account. You enter the requested personal info and it doesn't allow you to move to the "next" screen. On top of that, they provide no phone number to contact anyone. If the upfront service is this poor and they hide from their customers this effectively, I can only imagine how they will respond (or not) when there is a claim. I will be cancelling my policy immediately. I strongly suggest you do to.

website has been down for several days-need to change payment options before auto withdrawal goes through

The website has been down since Saturday! Today is Tuesday. There’s been no transparency on Trustages end. I’m highly upset and concerned!
