My daughter has been preparing for her GCSEs and Chenai has gone through her work to date and past papers. She is focused and asks the questions that help my daughter to gain in depth knowledge of the topics.

This was my first time trying to find a tutor online for my daughter, and I feel very fortunate to have chosen Tutor Hunt. Zobia is a very approachable and trustworthy teacher. My daughter now feels much more confident in maths and is no longer afraid of it. I honestly didn’t expect my daughter to show such improvement in maths so quickly. I was lucky enough to find a suitable maths tutor for my daughter on the very first try.

Elmo is cheerful and nice, with a positive attitude towards tutoring. He did not only explain the topics to my son, but also told him the marking schemes which is very helpful to my son’s preparation for his GCSE next year. I particularly appreciate the notes he prepared after every lesson which are very useful to my son’s revision.

Appalling. As others have mentioned, tutorhunt do not respond to emails - in my case about the fact that my DBS was rejected despite the fact it is less than 3 months old. I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher with 9 years experience.
Added to this - they take a huge hourly cut from each hour worked. Tutors and parents alike, please avoid this site.

If you are a Tutor looking at going to this site, be extremely careful uploading any information. I am employed by a UK major college based on my DBS. They took my DBS and have rejected me based on it. It is less than a year old. I believe they are a scam organisation collecting people's data.

Like others, I have had a very terrible experience with this website. Tutor Hunt do not respond when you have a DBS and are a qualified teacher trying to join their website. They kept rejecting it from being uploaded onto their website and failed to accept the DBS (Which was done with another agency). I sent it to them via email and also gave them my details so they can check my details on the updated service. I also noticed they say they have permission to use all documents uploaded so be careful with the personal documents you upload on Tutor Hunt — they are an untrustworthy company.

Rachel has been very patient and supportive with my son, who finds maths difficult.
