Terrible "service". Ordered specific tyres, paid for them, booked a time only to get an imperious email saying tyres weren't available - alternative offered to be fitted two days later than requested. No apology. I was informed that if happy I should do nothing or call "customer services" - what a joke - took 25 mins to answer - still no apology. Cancelled forthwith. Never again.

Order four tyres through tyre shopper with mobile fitting. Originally booked in for a Friday morning. No one turned up so phoned them only to find the job wasn't assigned to anyone so no one would be fitting them. Rescheduled for the following Wednesday only to receive a call from the fitter to say two of the tyres hadn't been ordered so again they wouldn't be fitted. Having had to take time out of work for the rescheduled appointment and now again so they can fit the tyres for a further rescheduled appointment. Very poor experience.

I decided to use Tyre Shopper for 4 tyres on my car. The price was exceptionally good and their communication was faultless. I wanted a home fitting and they arranged it through National Tyres & Autocare. The service was superb and I will happily use both parties again.

I recently attempted to purchase tyres from Tyre Shopper, only to find out that they were unable to fulfill my order. Despite their website allowing me to book, the tyres were unavailable, leaving me in a frustrating situation. When I inquired about this discrepancy, I was met with a vague response about a supposed technical issue, which only added to my disappointment.

Not only was I not provided with any alternatives, but I also received no response to my email complaint addressing the issue. This lack of communication and effort to rectify the situation reflects poorly on the company's customer service.

Furthermore, the fact that no alternatives were offered and I was simply issued a refund demonstrates a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. Even though I suggested an alternative tyre option at a slightly higher price, Tyre Shopper failed to accommodate or even acknowledge my request.

Overall, this experience has left me feeling let down and inconvenienced. While I had heard positive things about Tyre Shopper before, I cannot overlook the poor service and lack of communication that I encountered. My review of Tyre Shopper will reflect this disappointing experience.

Dreadful service. Changed my appointment to a day later with no phone call. Took over 45 minutes to answer call. Not even an apology from them and quite rude on the phone. Avoid, use Halfords instead and they are cheaper.

I have been using tyre shopper for years now and during that time purchased a variety of tyres for various vehicles of mine and my wife. Now other family members and friends use them too. Not once have I ever had an issue with tyre or fitting. I can't recommend them enough. They are always the best value, no matter how much I search Tyre Shopper always comes up trumps.

Like many other negative reviews on tyre shopper I too booked a slot for new tyres and was twice let down having taken time off work to be told the tyres hadn’t arrived on my arrival for the selected fitting date/time. On both occasions there had been no communication from tyre shopper nor any acknowledgement or apology received from them despite emailing them. Avoid - for the sake of a tenner difference in most cases use blackcircles instead.

Response to tyreshoppers message: you have not reached out and have still not responded to my email. Another reason for people not to use you.

Ordered 4x tyres 09/03/24 to be fitted the following Saturday. I recieved a text on Wednesday stating that they couldnt get the tyres until Saturday, but would be able to fit on Monday. Thought to myself, fair enough...Monday will do. Recieve a text on Friday saying they can no longer get the tyres....but they are on their website at £41 per tyre more? If you like wasting your time, they buy tyres with Tyre Shopper.

Terrible service.
We initially booked to have X4 tyres of the same brand fitted by a mobile fitter.
We were told the fitter would attend on the Monday (order placed on the previous wednesday).
One day later we were told that the rear tyres were out of stock but could be replaced with different brand tyres. At this point we just needed new tyres so we agreed.
On the day the tyres were due to be fitted (Monday), we received an email stating "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the mobile fitter is not able to attend today as requested online".
This was an inconvenience but we thought to give the company a chance so we accepted the next date of attendance of the following Friday.
On Friday we were then greeted to the same email, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the mobile fitter is not able to attend today as requested online".
At this point we had had enough, so we decided to call and speak to someone.
After waiting 30mins on hold, we spoke to a representative of tyre shopper, who couldn't be less interested in the issues caused by tyre shopper. They suggested another date of attendance for the fitter but we decided to get a full refund and go elsewhere.

I would not recommend this company if you need tyres in a short timeframe.

What a joke took my money then emailed 3 days later to say tyres out of stock and changed appointment to the afternoon rang and spoke to someone who was as helpful as a chocolate fire guard agreed with her to take it to my nearest halfords with dangerous tyres but hey she didn't care. Halfords have now had my car for over 2 hours changing 4 tyres maybe they are on their lunch now?

Low cost, quick and easy to order on line , installed within 2 days at National tyres

Guy turned up today to fit two new tyres, after an hour said the tyre he'd been given had been 'squished' so he could only fit one tyre, suggested i'd need to take the tyre into a depot (20 miles away!) The guy was a nice chap and it wasn't his fault but not ideal at all.

Now to add insult to injury!!! They have refunded me but now charged me for mobile fitting when it was free before, what a total bunch of jokers. In essence they send a defective tyre that can't be fitted then are looking to charge me an extra £25 because they can only fit one tyre which is entirely their fault.

I would steer clear they don't know what they are doing

UPDATE - Chantelle has responded claiming she has reached out to me (she hasn't!) then asking for my email address and contact details - which shows they haven't reached out to me?

Given that you can't reply to responses on Trustpilot can I ask that Chantelle gives me a contact to send my details to or otherwise this is just a sham of a response?

Ordered tyres on Friday 19 January for fitting on Sunday, then on Saturday I got an text and email saying they didn’t have my tyres in stock but could fit a different brand on Monday, or I could cancel. So I cancelled but still got a call from the fitter on Monday, by which time I’d had the tyres fitted locally for cheaper!

I’ve still had no refund from tyre shopper, even though I sent them another email and still got no reply.

Tyres-shopper is just a front owned by Halfords (we all know what great service they’re known for in their stores!🤣🤣🤣) and they use National Tyres as the fitters, which is also owned by Halfords, which is also a renown brand for their trustworthy and excellent customer service! Haha not!

If I’d known Halfords was behind this shoddy outfit I would never have placed an order in the first place!

In the future I will be supporting my local tyre shop! I advise you do the same.

I find it absolutely shocking that you claimed to have contacted me regarding my complaint when in fact you have made no attempt at all to contact me! 🐂

As you claim you always pride yourself on high level of service, then stop playing games and just refund what I have paid!!! You have my order number, surely that should be enough for you to know I’m due a refund? I will await your email confirmation that it’s been paid, without any further delays!

Had 2 tyres fitted at Halfords through tyre shopper I will never use Halfords ever again for anything while I sat there a gentleman came in with a problem with his lights, he was told they didn’t do electrical work and he left , then someone from the garage came in to reception giving the lad behind the counter a bit of a telling off for letting him leave saying that is easy money don’t let people leave without us looking at his car !!!
As you can tell he didn’t see me in the reception area around the corner

Great service, efficient and excellent prices

Purchased 4 tyres for home fitting 3 weeks before fitting date told 2 days before no tyres available and no alternative even though still being sold on they're site 3 calls in excess of hour and a half on HOLD! And told refund only option and 3 to 5 days for said refund shocking company ill never use them again and if the tyres havnt been taken off they're site by next week going to trading standards.

I booked for them to come and fit at my home. Nobody turned up and there was no communication.

First and last time I will ever try and use this company.

Ordered 4 new tyres on 15th Jan for mobile fitting. Recieve an en email on 22nd Jan PM to say there is a supply issue with the tyres ordered and they will swap my tyres to another brand but XL tyres for fitting on 24rd AM. I was provided with a phone number to call should I not want the alternative tyre. Attempted to call this number, only to be put through to halfords/National tyres who said it wasn't them who dealt with it as it was a mobile fitting order. I was provided with another phone number by them to call instead, which I did. Over 1 1/2 hrs on hold I gave up. A Google search later and I find another number, so call that. Eventually after another half an hour on hold, I get through.

The lady was lovely, however said someone would call be back with possible options for tyres instead. 2 hours later, no call back. So I ring up again and get passed from pillar to post. Finally speaks to a gentleman who couldn't do much as 'someone is in the system already' so he can't see my order or what he can replace them with.

I have had to now cancel the order 2 days before its due an MOT and try and figure something else out instead. All in good faith that he can 'get in the system' after I put the phone down to cancel the order and get my refund within 5 working days!!!!

Absolutely awful service, baring in mind I allowed plentiful time between ordering and fitting. I would give 0 stars but it doesn't let you.

Customer services never get back to emails. See a price from a comparison site for tyres liked the price clicked the link to tyre shopper, price jumps up £25 per tyre more. Trying to ask customer services to match no response. Chat bot is usless. Is anybody even there???
