Polite, helpful , empathetic telephone conversation with updates afterwards throughout, especially amazing as Easter Monday! Realistic timing (up to 4 hours) for service engineer to visit who actually arrived only 3 hours after initial report of issue. He was able to fix straight away by replacing the antiquated fuse, he had a new one with him, which meant I could cook dinner and we could still have our roast lamb dinner, excellent service. Thank you 🙏😊

When phoning I spoke to Lee who listened to my problems and put in a plan of action very quickly. Electrian arrived within three hours and fixed wires and got my electric working quickly.
He did say he would make an appointment for other updating needed but I have not heard anything since, been a few weeks now??

Very responsive and quick service. Power cut hit at around 18:20 and a technician was on site by 19:15. Slight trouble with the voice recognition on the phone to locate the power cut, but otherwise excellent and responsive.

Just awful and nothing getting done.. Apparently high Ohm readings don't mean much to them (or aren't as severe as I thought they were!)
Almost impossible to make any sort of appointment, and when you give them access times, they don't turn up, don't contact, and I am left chasing. I'm honestly surprised I am reading such positive reviews as I have three properties I am trying to get them out to and one of which I have been waiting for the job to be finalised since I first made contact in September 2025!
Just awful.

My area recently experienced a series of power cuts over a few days some of which were at night time and lasting anything from a few minutes to a few hours. The first one happened in the early hours and I was one of a few residents who reported it. After making investigations UK Power Networks called me back to explain what they thought the problem was. There was also a further call to check that I was alright-as a pensioner with sight and other health issues I am on the Priority Services Register. I mentioned that I was concerned I would be unable to keep my phone charged and was immediately offered a portable power bank. This was posted to me 1st Class and arrived 48 hours later, at no charge to myself. During the few days of unplanned outages I received regular updates via SMS and a final one to advise that the issue had been identified and resolved. I cannot praise this company highly enough having dealt with them on previous occasions with the same reassuring approach by keeping the customer informed. They deserve 100 stars!

Always advised of power outages + the steps that are being taken to ensure that repairs are undergoing to reinstate services

When our power went out the other day we received a message almost instantly to say that UK Power Networks were aware of the outage, gave a time when they hoped to have it fixed by and sent follow up messages to keep us informed.

I was updated constantly with how things were progressing and then when power would return.. I was very impressed by the service..

Had unplanned power outage 6.30am on a Sunday morning. UKPN alerted me by text and was able to receive regular updates. They were out quickly to fix the issue & power was back by 7.30am. Excellent communication throughout the outage. Can't fault them & thank you to the workers who came out early on a Sunday morning to get us all sorted

I was kept up to date with the progress of the repair which I found very assuring.

I received a message telling me I was experiencing a power outage in my home before I even knew I was. I received regular updates and power was restored within a few minutes. I received an explanation of what had happened and what was done to restore power.

Good communication before , during and after problems, always stay in touch

UK Power Networks were really good they kept us informed through our the power cut and quickly resolved the problem. I think the power was only off for a few minutes. Excellent
