Have recently purchased two sofas and a foot stool from Vale Furnishers and very happy both with the products and the customer service. The purchased items were delivered earlier than estimated and when we noticed a small pulled thread on one of the sofa cushions, Vale Furnishers immediately sent out one of their customer service staff to remedy the issue. Great service from Steve during the sales process, the two gents who delivered the sofas and the follow up customer service team.

Vale has always been our first port of call when looking for new furniture simply because of the wide range stocked and the occasional opportunity for a genuine bargain. They are always friendly and helpful but recently went out of their way to assist. We had bought a nest of tables. One broke after a few months due to poor design. We picked up a replacement as we were due to be passing. A second one broke when over a year old and again they replaced and we agreed to pick up but they then proactively offered to deliver as they had noticed a delivery near us. The delivery team kept us informed, arrived earlier than we had dared hope and cheerfully unpacked and assembled the table.

Great range of tables and chairs and excellent customer service, both by sales team- John and his colleague . They made excellent suggestions and observations that really helped me decide. Superb after sales service when an issue was spotted on delivery . Delivered a month early- real bonus! Thank you

We have dealt with Vale Furnishers for 40+ years and have always been delighted by the knowledgable staff who have assisted us. This has to be the ‘go to’ store for furniture and furnishings - every style and design imaginable is there to view.

Helpful manager allowed me to pickup my furniture early before opening hours.

It feels very rare these days to find a store that will go the extra mile; Vale Furnishers is unparalleled in putting their customer first in our opinion. I could not recommend them highly enough and are always our first choice to shop at.

I purchased an expensive piece of furniture which broke after a few weeks of using. The company insisted on a repair job and would not replace the item even though it needed repairing a second time. Instead of a new piece of furniture I now have a repaired piece of furniture. They kindly gave me a store voucher, but if course that means the customer would have to pay a lot more in order to make use of it.

Truly disappointing: 3 emails to obtain information regarding a clearance item, despite the original email sent had a link and a request of availability of the item enquiry. On email 3 which finally confirmed: the item was advertised at the wrong price with an increase to the original listing of £3900.....Sadly, my custom will be shopping elsewhere. The absolute minimum would be to list the items at the correct price.

We’ve been to Vale a few times across their various locations. Every time the people were incredibly knowledgable and not pushy in any way. We feel like the furniture is really high quality. So far we a sofa, a coffee table and dining table

Yesterday, our gorgeous Bow sofas arrived. The bright pink velvet looks stunning in our Drawing Room in Torquay and we are thrilled with the quality. They were delivered by Aaron and Andrew who were really lovely. They took loads of care (it was pouring with rain and the only way in was through a sash window!) They were cheerful, polite and very helpful. They are a real credit to Vale Furnisher's. Please pass on our sincere thanks to them. The whole experience of buying from Vale Furnisher's was all positive. Thanks to Chris Cleary as well. We have now moved away from Ash but we will be back! We have our eye on a chrome cocktail trolley!!
