The web site for this company is very well designed. It makes it easy to find products and it offers plenty of advice. Unfortunately some of that advice turned out to be incorrect in my case so I had to return a walking stick and that is when I discovered that the administration/customer service offered are very very poor. I would not use this company again and wish I hadn't used it at all. Long story short.
1) Guided by the web site which says that Derby Handle was "Elegantly shaped, comfortable to hold and easy to carry, Derby Walking Sticks are an ever-popular choice for both special occasions and everyday use." I ordered walking stick with Derby Handle on 31st May 2026
2) When the stick arrived the width of the Derby handle was too small for my hands. It was impossible to hold the stick because there was not room for all my fingers between the stick and the end of the handle. I emailed the company on 4th June asking where I should return the stick. I also left a message on their answerphone
3) On 5th June I received an email with a returns note, giving me the address and recommending that I use Royal Mail's tracked signed for service.
4) On 8th June I returned the stick by the Royal Mail service.
5) It is now 22nd June and I have still not received any refund. I have chased the company by email and by phone several times. They initially said they would come back to me the same day but they didn't .
6) On 17th June I managed to speak to Cliona on their helpdesk and she promised a refund and emailed me to confirm that "we have now processed a refund ...totalling £92.98". This hasn't materialised.
7) The company refused to refund postage even though their web page expressly says they will bear return postage cost for 'defective product'. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where goods re not fit for purpose they are legally considered faulty and the buyer is entitled to a full refund and must not be charged for any return postage I have politely pointed this out to the company on the phone but they are still adamant that they won't refund the return costs.

An excellent item was delivered well-packed and speedily. I am very satisfied with my purchase and my experience with your company.

exceptional service throughout

Nice enough stick but arrived all batteted and scuffed. Not acceptable. As it was a last min present had to give it all marked and chipped.

Prompt response and offer of a refund which seems reasonable. If this happens i would be happy to amend rating as mistakes do happen but will await my refund first.

As expected,no refund arrived and given false promise for a better review. Makes the experience even worse!

Fast delivery and a good quality product

Prompt and efficient. Exactly as described.

Very good walking stick with seat. A little high for me, can be adjusted to be higher but not shorter. Still useable and helpful for me if I am walking a long way and need to sit for a bit. Delivery was on time and well packaged.

Strong and ideal as an emergency seat the stick looks so much less like an aid than many on the market which is just what I wanted Thankyou !!!
