A very disappointing experience – photographers should do their research before signing up
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Whitespace.
I paid £600 for a 12 month membership, with the expectation that I would receive the services and business opportunities that were presented as part of the package. Unfortunately, my experience has been that the service has not delivered what I understood I was paying for.
I have received very little meaningful value from my membership, and when I have raised concerns about the service and attempted to resolve matters, I have found the process extremely frustrating.
What has been particularly concerning is discovering that I am far from the only photographer who has experienced serious issues with Whitespace. There is now a large community of photographers discussing their experiences with the company, and a significant number of photographers appear to be pursuing formal legal action regarding their own disputes. I cannot comment on the merits or outcome of other people's cases, but the sheer number of people reporting similar concerns has certainly made me question my own experience.
I am leaving this review because I think other photographers deserve to have access to a range of experiences before committing a significant amount of money to the service.
I would strongly encourage any photographer considering Whitespace to carefully research the service, understand exactly what is included, and consider whether the value being offered is consistent with their own expectations before signing up.
For my small business, £600 is a significant amount of money, and I do not feel that I have received the level of service or value that I was led to expect.
Please also note that Whitespace will do their best to remove negative reviews - so if you are warning others, please be careful about the language you use. They are very adept at making sure all of their reviews are positive.
Do NOT pick up the phone to these people.
