I was sent to Wickes Widnes for some building materials (I did not have a clue what I was doing) every member of staff were so helpful. However, I received absolutely outstanding service from Phil! Phil showed me what I was looking for and helped me with the damaged goods offering them to me at a reduced price, he then took me to the checkouts and even helped me to my car and loaded the materials for me. I can't believe how amazing he was, such a pleasant gentleman, nothing was too much trouble. I have never been to Wickes before, but this will be my go to place now. Thanks Phil

When we went into wicks they were like every other business trying to sell something, really attentive and very helpful. Happily this continued right the way through when. Lyndsey came out to measure and plan our kitchen she took everything we said on board never trying to push her own opinions. She answered all our questions brilliantly and helped immensely with what would and wouldn't work.
We got our own fitter and Lyndsey said that she would make time for any questions from him and to nip on to the store and speak to her which he did.
Everything came when we requested and the delivery lads were great.
Now the kitchen is finished we can't thank Lyndsey enough for bringing my wife's dream to fruition. She now wants Lyndsey to design a bathroom for her.
I know it's her job but the fact she made use of every usable inch is brilliant. We couldnt recommend her enough. From what we had to have now is mind blowing.

Not only that, we have been given some top horticultural advice to ensure our garden area thieves.

A nightmare !!
Do not buy a made to measure kitchen from wickes. We have had nothing but trouble since we bought one. The sales assistant hayley at widnes branch came out twice to measure up and when the kitchen arrived it was to small. A made to measure kitchen she measure twice was small!! She has no empathy for us and tried to say it wasnt her mistake. Also the delivery company appalling delivered our kitchen and dropped the island and cracked both my flooring and worksurface the driver said I should keep it as it was only a crack no apology for cracking both my flooring and island. He also had cracked the sink which we later found out and also it did not matter as when we went to see if the sink fitted it did not so she measured that completely wrong. The service from a large company has been awful. I only gave one star as customer service have been helpful. We went to wickes as we had headed good things but I wpuld never recommended them to anyone stay away

Wickes WIDNESS Branch are a total bunch of (Please insert the most foul profanity word you can think of here).
An order was placed for delivery and money taken.
Delivery arrived with only 1 sheet if wood. The stud timber was not delivered. This is the 2nd time in a week WIDNESS has screwed up with delivery's. There was NO e mail or text message letting me know of the missing items of which the sheet of wood was no use without the stud wood. Delivery was refused and driver took away the one sheet of wood. CCTV recorded this as evidence. I called the customer complaint number and after 20 minuets wait got through to them. Customer service then had to call the Widness Branch to find out what was going on.
Having called them once last Sunday & twice on Monday and once on Tuesday earlier this week with the first order having been messed up. I hope she has better results than I did. (That's if she can wake them up!)
I have requested a refund of the full amount and after the customer service rep got through the branch she came back and stated a FULL refund will be given.
I don't know how bad other branches of Wickes are but if possible A V O I D Widness!

I did a click and collect order and overbought some tiles. It was just over a month when I took the extra back for a refund and thought I’d call first to check it wasn’t too late. Albie answered and was very friendly and helpful, offered to double check for me before I made my way to the store. When I entered the store he remembered our conversation and dealt with it for me. Great customer service

We have recently had some renovation work done on our kitchen. We asked a number of kitchen suppliers to provide a design for us. We were amazed at the design Lyndsey Matthews, kitchen designer provided at Wickes in Widnes and so we decided to go with it. Lyndsey listened to everything we asked for and included it all in her design. We are absolutely delighted with the end results.
From the start of the project until completion nothing has been too much trouble for Lyndsey who has answered any queries we have had. Wickes customer services have also been very professional and organised, keeping us informed of deliveries etc. along the way.
We used Wickes installation service to fit the kitchen and Arthur and his team have done a great job, completing the fit earlier than expected.
The quality of the kitchen is great and we are so happy with the clean fresh look.
If you are considering having a new kitchen I would highly recommend going to Wickes and talking to Lyndsey Matthews, kitchen designer.

Looking for a plumbing fitting, asked Tom and he said he wasnt very knowledgeable but came anyway. Kept looking and hubby found item number. Tom looked and found position but the item was wrong size he then removed front item and found the correct item behind. Would not have done that. Although he knew nothing about plumbing he stayed and was able to sort us out. Many young people would have walked away. Kudos to him.

Called into the Widnes store today for some help with my kitchen units. Kevin the manager was very helpful and sorted it no problem. I use the store a lot and always find staff helpful. Kevin is outstanding for customer care. If you have an issue, ask for Kevin.

Hands down the best Wickes store I’ve ever been to. Friendly and helpful staff, well kept and clean store, lovely atmosphere.

Ben designed the kitchen and was excellent at advising us on it. We had the hob, oven and cooker hood provided in the cost. The fitters fitted the kitchen in 2.5 days. They were excellent. The gas and electrician people came within the fitting period and were excellent. I will advise anyone to use Wickes as I had no faults within the whole process, and it will be the first place I look if needing this service in the future. Thank you Ben.

I came into wickes Runcorn store , I needed to buy 6bags of top soil . Great member of staff helped me put them in my car . I then went back into the store to purchase a garden leveller and the same man went to the trouble of finding the item and again kindly put it into my car . Great service , very friendly and cheerful member of staff helped,

Well what a disaster from start to finish. Items were delivered minus plans and quite a few parts. Driver assured us he had checked it off and everything was there. Once the fitter come it was evident that a number of items were missing. Not a problem you'd think. They can just be sent out. We'll think again. Items were apparently ordered but never turned up after waiting 7 days. On 4 occasions. Items came damaged. Spent a long time chasing customer services. Items eventually all came approx 6 weeks after initial delivery. Fitter had done the days hed quoted us for so needed another date to finish off. Wickes attitude is we shouldn't of instructed a fitter until all Items delivered and accounted for and therefore were lucky to be offered a £200 compensation to cover the £420 cost plus all of the inconvenience and stress. On a plus the units are lovely now in. Im my opinion it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to get the parts we paid for and the sheer incompetence of wickes customer services. I won't even go onto the design mistakes from the widnes branch. Really poor customer service and bang average design service
