Never do business with them. They will extort you for cancellations fees and overcharge at every chance.
I wish there was a mark lower than one.
I’ve had nothing but a bad experience with this company they’re SCO marketing isn’t Marketing all it does is allow them to pull money out of your pocket through misleading contracts one of the first things they’ll tell you is advertising isn’t guaranteed and what they’re actually saying is we’re guaranteeing. We’re not going to do anything. We’re going take your money and pretend like your company is being advertised.
As soon as you have a dispute with the contract, they immediately just send you the collections. There’s no talking about it. There’s no reviewing the contract there’s no showing anything.
Their service is overrated and way overpriced.
It’s embarrassing to say that this is a Canadian company
My most recent threat came from Adam Ackerman when he contracted me demanding $800 and when I asked him to produce a contract, he immediately sent me to collections and no more communication and then idle threats saying check your credit score you’re gonna get phone calls total scare tactics I don’t understand why they can’t just deal with things like adults
But anyways, please steer clear from this organization. It’s not gonna do anything because you headaches and harassment and drain your pocketbook. You’re not gonna get any phone calls from this company SCO marketing you’re not gonna get any contacts. You’re not going to get any communication and then as soon as you have a problem, they’re going to ghost you and charge you And when you question the bill they just immediately send you to collections
Going forward make sure you ask if anybody’s affiliated with yellow pages before you dive in.

Well I was convinced and lied to about what I was supposed to get with yellow pages representatives.Even after that.They could not find my websites.After weeks call I g everyday speaking with several reps.One was able to find my website in Grand rapids Alberta.Website was a disaster with interior pics and I am a stone mason 42 yrs and buisness 37 yrs.I could see my free old ad from yellow pages book from 25 yrs ago listed free still.now on line.But still cannot see my website.Only when I put company name I see my website.Been over 10 months.Still cannot see it or got any calls or emails from it.Told them to cancell it with in the first week since I could not find it anywhere.Relized they lied and I had to build the website my self with a rep that called over a month later.Still did a bad job.No pics of stone houses on my website and I send them over 30 pics of custom homes and subdivisions I build.before and after during construction.They wreck my car edit score putting collection of $1700.Still have not fix website to perform.
No calls or emails in yr on website.I paid over 400$ plus at the start.$170 a month.
Which I never got nothing from them.Website is useless nobody cannot see it.To be honest thought they would cancel it since all their mistakes.Requested cancellations within days of dealing with them.Instead of helping my Company.They caused mired problems for company.Stealing money and distroying credit over advertising which I never got.How do you take action against that.

I tried to list my business with them, they want all the details including ABN. Got a call from some middle man, wasted 5 minutes of my time repeating they can't provide any information of any services THIS business provides as they're only the middle men and would need to book another call with someone from the actual business.

did advertasing with them, and the ad was not doing well. I wanted to cancel or lower my budget, and yellow pages wouldnt let me. The ad was doing really badly, and they say that the ad would do better, but it never did. i contact them multiple times to cancel, and they wouldn't let me say that I signed up for 1 year, but they also said that the ad would perform. I was spending so much money every month, and the ad didn't bring me any money.

My company was with yellow pages for over 30 years. I didn't start having issues with the yellow pages until recent when I wanted to upgrade my website. They had informed me I would have to basically have a new website made in order to fulfill my wants and this service would cost an upfront price of over $1000.00 with monthly fees to follow. I shopped around and found a company to make me a website for free that Had everything I wanted with a monthly fee that was approximately the same price I was paying with yellow pages. Months later I called yellow pages to cancel my account with them and they had told me I had 3 months remaining per our agreement. They sent me a verbal recording from 6 years ago of me agreeing to a list of terms outlining an agreement. I proceeded to ask if they would let me out of my contract 3 months early considering I've been a client for over 30 years and also I've been paying for a service (the website) they haven't been providing for the last 6 months. Sadly they refused to let me go early and proceeded to sell me more services and try and trap me in another contact once I was finished paying the remainder of our current agreement off. The new contract they tried to trap me in was $70.00 per month that only included my company listed on their website.
I gave yellow pages over 30 years and 10s of thousands of dollars and in return they couldn't give me 3 months back valuing $693.00.
Yellow pages has burnt a bridge with me they could never rebuild and its kinda sad because in my experience they weren't really all that bad until the end. My customer service agents name was Oliver Saab, he was very argumentative and pushy trying to sell me another contract when I was trying to cancel.
Anyone thinking of doing business with the yellow pages, enter contracts at your own risk. There's no leniency in yellow page contacts even if you have been with them for 50 years as Oliver informed me. As a business owner I would have done more for my long term loyal client given the situation.
This company is very very deceiving. Please, please, please be careful of them. They are useless.

If I could give it a zero, I would. This is a scam at best and fraudulent at worst. They do not deliver what it promised at all. Save your advertising dollars and spend them elsewhere. Staff are rude.

I had a very disappointing experience with Yellow Pages Canada. No measurable results or leads were generated from the service.
Despite requesting to stop service, I continued to receive repeated payment demands and invoices. The cancellation process was unclear, and resolving the issue required unnecessary time and effort. I did not authorize ongoing billing after cancellation.
Communication was frustrating and did not lead to a timely or transparent resolution. This created stress and disruption for my small business, with little value received in return.
I would strongly advise other business owners to carefully review any agreement and be cautious before committing to their services.
Poor communication and unresolved billing issues. Services were never properly set up as agreed, and repeated attempts to resolve the matter were met with silence. Even when I called to get it resolved, instead of resolving or directing me to someone who can, they were trying to sell me other services. After formally disputing the account and escalating the issue, invoices continued to be sent without acknowledgment.
After going through this process, I noticed many other reviews describing similar issues with billing and communication. I wish I had done this earlier. This has been an exhausting experience marked by lack of follow-through and professionalism.

If I could give zero stars I would.
Received and email advising our current 18 month contract was due to renew and emailed them and requested to not renew our businesses Yellow Pages subscription and requested that it be cancelled.
They cancelled the Yellow Pages PUBLICATION subscription at the end of the 18 month contract but continued to charge us for DIGITAL services.
Contacted them and advised them we cancelled the service and they told us that was only the PUBLICATION subscription not the DIGITAL and they will not accept the pervious email we sent requesting to cancel the service as we did not state to cancel ALL services.
They are a money grabbing offshore scam.
We would have thought a bit of leniency after 40 odd years of us supporting Yellow Pages would have been given.

STAY AWAY!!! I signed my small business up in Dec of 2024; I was promised great representation to help me get my name out there. I did not see much of an increase and decided not keep YellowPages. I was informed that I was locked into another year, even though the contract states it will automatically renew. It was never disclosed that renewal locks you into another year.
They hid a rate increase in one of my statements; they stated the first page stated there was information for me to read on the third page, but this was at the bottom of the first page, highlighted, but so is half the page, so it did not stand out. They did not put it on any other statement or separate notification. They are now threatening me if I do not pay my monthly subscription for 90 more days. Here is why this is wrong, and I recommend that you avoid this company or contact consumer protection in Canada. I am a practicing Arbitrator.

Under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BPCPA), suppliers are required to provide clear, prominent notice of material changes to a contract, including price increases, giving the consumer the opportunity to cancel the contract without penalty.
This company is not acting in good faith; i recommend hanging up the phone if they come calling.
I would give them zero stars if i could, an absolute scam. The old owner was paying for it and i dont want the service they are trying to make me pay for a whole year. They are scammers and frauds stay far away

I went in to this knowing that there are issue with customer service, but what I did not expect was for their entire service to be a complete waste of time and money. Incompetence was shown at every level with them. I had them build a website and paid for specific very services. The website was completely amateur, the process to develop it was atrocious, they started charging for the monthly website related services weeks before the website was approved and live, and then launched the website without approval. I never managed to get them to correct the spelling mistakes or copywriting throughout the whole process. Then, to top it off, I spent a year trying to get access to the backend so I could make changes and do optimizations. The entire experience was atrocious. My account manager changed twice in that year, not that it made any difference, communication was horrible. Then I spent weeks trying to get in touch to cancel all service before the cancellation deadline, including in writing, and didn't manage to reach or speak with anyone (account manager was no longer working there so the email address was not in service). They auto renewed the contract. It took me another 9 months on top of that to official get the service cancelled, which btw means I'm still paying till the end of the renewed contract without receiving any service - the website was deleted "by accident" and they wouldn't recover or replace without paying for a new site. On top of all that, I still haven't received control of the domain I own from them and will probably be many more months of chasing them down for it - this holds me hostage on creating a new website with that domain, which once again I OWN. Don't waste your money with these guys, go purchase a website elsewhere so you own the website and choose the team you want to host, optimize, and maintain. Yellow pages is the biggest scam in the marketing world.

Today I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dental office ( palmetto oral Florence SC). I was already on edge because my 13-year-old was having her wisdom tooth pulled. She was nervous, and so was I.
When I walked in the front door, I was greeted politely and told to wait until they called her to the back. Eventually, she was called back, and I waited up front.
The nurse came in and explained the aftercare instructions and how to handle things afterward. She initially seemed nice. My daughter continued to cry, although Miss Gail stated that she was not crying. Miss Gail then put her hand in my daughter’s mouth and said, “You’re not going to bite me.” I thought she was joking and simply doing her job with humor, so at first, I didn’t think much of it.
However, my impression changed when Miss Gail yelled to another nurse to come help get my daughter out of there because she was “making all this noise.” I told Miss Gail that I didn’t think my daughter could help it. Miss Gail responded by saying that she could help it and that she shouldn’t be acting that way. I told her that my daughter was uncomfortable and that people should not be treated that way.
By this time, the situation became louder, and if I am not mistaken, one of the doctors came down the hallway and said, “She’s been out for 15 minutes, and teen girls look at TikTok.” I asked him if he thought my daughter was faking, and he shrugged his shoulders.
I do not believe my daughter was faking at all. The assumption that she was exaggerating or pretending was unfair, especially since they did not know her mental health history or personal background. I honestly believe the bedside manner was unnecessary and inappropriate.
I was so upset by how my daughter was treated that I called the police because I felt she was insulted and mistreated. I have never experienced anything like this before. Two nurses eventually helped my daughter to the car and assisted her inside, but I felt they viewed me as being dramatic rather than acknowledging how poorly my daughter had been treated.
I had been recording my daughter so we could laugh about the experience later, but by accident, I actually captured video footage of her being mistreated.
Coming off anesthesia does not happen in just a few minutes. I am not a doctor, but I know that much. Being treated as if my daughter was being dramatic or faking was completely unacceptable. While I was sitting there, I could hear another patient nearby talking. Although he was calmer and my daughter was more whiny, that does not excuse how she was treated.
It felt as though they believed my daughter was too loud and were rushing to get her out of there because she made other patients uncomfortable. Miss Gail appeared to have been doing this job for a long time, and I am certain my daughter was not the first child to cry loudly after anesthesia
