My sister and I were very well looked after by Yellow Zebra and their local southern Africa tour company, Desert & Delta Safaris
First of all, their welcome and assistance at airports was much appreciated (Johannesburg, Victoria Falls and Maun).
Sam and team in the UK found us excellent accommodation in three locations - Batonka Guesthouse in Victoria Falls fitted the bill, and from there we thoroughly enjoyed the walk and boat trip at the Falls.
Then on to Camp Moremi on the edge of the Okavango Delta, which was superb - a huge thatched hut along a boardwalk, beautifully furnished and comfortable - with the sound of nocturnal wildlife below!!
Our second safari camp was at Savute with similar accommodation, beside a waterhole where plenty of elephants came to drink in the evenings.
At each place the food was delicious and very generous! Fresh ingredients and thoughtfully prepared menus. The public areas are lovely in both camps, a large bar and large restaurant area, a fire pit outside and swimming pool (too cold for me in winter!).
The pattern for safari holidays is Dawn Game Drive, midday rest, Sunset Game Drive, interspersed with lots of meals. At dawn we were kitted out with hot water bottles and blankets (which were necessary at this time of year) and at sunset, we enjoyed cocktails with a view.
The animals were not always easy to find, but in our time there, we saw four of the Big 5, only missing the rhino which have been evacuated to avoid the poachers. It was such a thrill to witness the African animals in the wild - the leopard being particularly special!
The staff at each camp couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Absolutely charming.
All in all a definite 5* holiday. Thank you to the team at Yellow Zebra and Desert & Delta!

Everything promised was realized! Smooth transitions from airports and among campsites. All employees were prompt, curious and seemed to care about our comfort and welfare. We felt safe and cared for!

Aidan Dunlop was the major factor in making us choose YellowZebra. He brought many years as a guide in SA and a former resident of Cape Town to bear on our discussions about options. He proposed a number of trip options and was patient as our group considered the options, and remained flexible throughout our various discussions. Top notch advice at all times.

We were a group of 6 people who had never been to Africa but knew what we wanted to see and had an idea of where we wanted to go. Yellow Zebra gave us options and helped us narrow down our itinerary until we had the perfect vacation - not easy when working with 6 people. The camps were excellent and fit our budget. The transportation - from bush planes to air port transfers were all arranged and on time. The guides for our safaris were excellelnt, knowledgeable and answered every question we had about animals, birds and plants. Staff at the camps went out of their way to provide us with everything we needed. This was definitely a five star experience and Yellow Zebra put this all together for us. We just return from an amazing 13 days Africa adventure. We had a few days in Uganda, gorilla trekking in Bwindi where everything was organised exceptionally and we were extremely lucky to find the gorilla family in about 30 min. After Uganda we continued to Kenya were again, the accommodation, food, views and game drives were amazing. The staff and guides were brilliant, food better than in a 5 star restaurant and what to say about our game drives except that our guides were doing their outmost to find lions & leopards and the rest of the wildlife.
The booking was also extremely easy, Jecca our agent was great, giving genuine advice and recommendations..sometimes in life you just have a feeling about a person, that you can trust on what she/he says and that is what happened with us and Jecca. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we were still in Kenya, relaxing on the beach when we asked our selfs where should we go next?

Yellow Zebra put together a fantastic trip for our party of six to Victoria Falls and then two safaris in Kenya. They had people to meet us at every stop to help with customs and baggage. Everything went very smooth and easy.
The team kept us informed all through the booking process, helped with vias and other documentation and always were responsive to all our questions, no matter how stupid they were. I would not hesitate to use them again when we are ready to return to Africa for more.

Yellow Zebra has been easy to work with and both safari trips (2024 & 2026) have been planned well and gone without a hitch. The company’s offices are in London, so working with them required for us remembering that they are 5 hours ahead of EST. Great support during the trip over What’s App.

Our trip is not till October 2027, but the initial research, prep and booking have been excellent. Strong support and answers to our questions, timely, and direct.

We were a group of eleven including our children and grandchildren ages 13-21 years on this adventure of exploring Tanzania and all it has to offer. The accommodations were all very special in different ways; the food prepared for us was delicious and there were special dishes for our vegetarians; the staffs were warm and ready to take care of our every need even baking a cake and dancing and singing for our grandson's 21st birthday; the guides were excellent drivers and so knowledgeable about the natural history and animals and their own culture and history; and we were able to see not only the "Big Five" and the migration across the Mara River and so much more. The trip was so well organized and we were always met on time and taken to our next destination. For us this was a trip of a life time and more memorable than we could have ever imagined!

We want to end with a shout out to Matt Gammon who planned such a spectacular trip for us. He planned where we would go to see different habitats with all the amazing animals we wanted to see; he chose our excellent accommodations and guides; he planned our village visit; he planned our transportation and he stayed within our budget. The support staff and Wilderness transition team were also excellent!
