Smooth experience

I had an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience with Yescapes/Travel Services, and I would strongly advise against booking with them. Their unprofessionalism caused unnecessary anxiety, additional expenses, and a complete lack of trust in their service.

I initially booked and paid for a flight on 28/12/2024, with a scheduled departure for 14/02/2025. Despite repeated requests—both from me and a relative in Leicester—I did not receive my tickets until 21/01/2025, nearly a month later. This delay alone was infuriating, as I needed my confirmed tickets to arrange accommodations and airport travel.

When I finally received the tickets, I checked them online, and everything seemed correct, so I proceeded to book my hotel and airport transport with confidence. However, less than a week before departure, I checked again and was shocked to find my reservation marked as "incomplete." After contacting the airline directly, it became clear that my booking was not secure.

After yet another frustrating phone call with Yescapes/Travel Services, I was sent new tickets on 11/02/2025—only to find that my departure date had been moved up to 13/02/2025, and my return flight had changed to a different airport. This last-minute change, without any prior warning, caused significant disruption, forcing me to rearrange my airport transport and hotel reservations at an additional cost. This kind of negligence is unacceptable, especially when travelling with children.

What makes this situation even more infuriating is that I strongly suspect Yescapes/Travel Services resold my original tickets to someone else who paid more. Given that I don't live in Leicester, I also believe they took advantage of my location, assuming I wouldn't be able to monitor the situation closely.

Had I not double-checked my reservation, I could have easily shown up at the airport only to be turned away. Yescapes/Travel Services provided no warning, no apology, and no explanation for their reckless handling of my travel plans.

This level of unprofessionalism is beyond unacceptable. If you’re considering booking with Yescapes/Travel Services, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. The stress, added expenses, and complete lack of accountability are simply not worth it.

“Anamazing adventure”
Just spent two weeks on a Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam holiday. This was more than a holiday this was an adventure that was so amazingly organised. Travelling across threecountries all guides were knowledgeable all excursions were executed flawlesslyall timings were met. I saw sights that took my breath away. Highlights for meI could easily say the whole experience but the special mentions should bewalking on the bridge on the River Kwai - Thailand, Angkor Thom - Cambodia(where the filmed tomb Raider), Cu Chi Tunnels - Vietnam. There were many manymore. If you are thinking of doing something a little special, I highly recommend this

Amazing! Trustworthy!

“Grand Tour of India - loved every minute of it”
Doing all the booking via the internet and not having any personal contact with anyone does not seem reassuring but everything on this holiday went very smoothly. Our 18-day holiday consisted of two separate tours in the North (the Triangle) and the tropical South in Kerala. Both sections had a separate guide, driver and driver's assistant. They were all very very good and nothing was too much for them. We felt very well looked after at all times, almost too much. Sometimes a little freedom would have been welcome.
The programme was very well chosen and extremely varied. Apart from the obligatory Taj Mahal, temples, churches, palaces, forts and towers we saw the amazing Step Wells (never even heard of them), we went to two National Parks, and we stayed in a village resort. We were transferred from the coach on tractors slowly driving through the village. They laid on a wonderful programme: camel cart ride, visit to a small farm with cookery demonstration, evening folk dancing. Even through this resort was quite basic I would not have wanted to miss out on it!
All of the hotels were very good, some of them absolutely outstanding with delicious food and the best service ever!
We were really worried about getting Delhi belly but in our group only very few people fell ill.
We were taken to private houses on several occasions for a meal which was a wonderful opportunity to meet people, see their houses and taste their food.
What convinced us to travel with Yescapes was the varied programme: we went on safari drives, boat trips, nature walks and the highlight of our holiday: the houseboat trip! Our group was distributed amongst several houseboats, and off we went: on our houseboat there were six of us with three members of staff. We felt like royalty sitting at our table on deck with the world floating by. The boat anchored by the side of a lake for the night which meant waking up to lovely bird songs and the fishermen working around us. It was magic!
I very much enjoyed seeing the hustle and bustle and listen to the permanent tooting of cars in the North: cows, Tut Tuts, lorries, rickshaws, the odd camel, pigs, dogs. You can only admire our driver. We were unfortunate that the smog was hitting the area quite badly, so we were glad to get into the countryside for a while.
The south of India was quite a contrast to the north. Kerala is a communist state and people seem to be better off there. Also, the scenery was stunning! We looked at a fishing village and had a guided tour with a local, the coach went off the beaten track to give us a better experience. We drove through agricultural areas, up and down mountains, through tea plantations.
The experiences were wonderful, the hotels were great, the staff were very helpful.
My only gripe would be that our group of 31 was too large. Everything took that much longer to get in and out of. Luckily our group got on very well and we had lots of fun together.
But overall: full marks to Yescapes for arranging such trip

Travel Services has been my booking agent for over 8 yrs and in all these years i have been given a service second to none . The booking is seamless and you are given flexi time in case one’s circumstances changes before the day of travel. Not so many travel agencies give this option.

You don't always know who to trust these days but I have had two experiences using yescapes now and i have to say they are briliant
