The product was ok but customer service appalling.

Ordered a palette of Greetland stone and a palette of Greetland flags. The great thing about this company is the communication. I was informed throughout what was happening with my order. The stone arrived first (albeit a day late due to issues with the haulier). You really do get a lot of stone for your money and I was able to make a large raised bed (about 18 inches high and over a meter square). There was a delay in getting the stone flags but these need to be cut. I also ordered 30mm thick flags but got 50mm. Heavier to lift but they are a very nice colour. I got three on a palette (1 square meter) - enough for a step. The driver was happy to drop the palette where I wanted it. Overall, a great (albeit slightly expensive) product and brilliant service from the Yorkshire Stone company. Would definitely buy from them again.

initially had difficulty with how much dry stone walling i would require, a quick e-mail and prompt responce did the trick. delivery swift and arrived via pallet. quality of stone good considering i ordered random walling. needed to order addition 2 tonne to complete my prodject again delivery arrived as specified. not the cheapest on price, but would recommend as service very good. easy to e-mail or talk via phone.

Everything from the firm itself was excellent, clear and helpful advice and messaging. The stone was just what we wanted.The problems we had were with delivery. It probably is down to the lack of drivers at present but the first delivery which we expected in the morning came at tea time and the second delivery came a day later than expected, again later in the day which meant the landscaper has to reschedule our job.

Sample was nothing like the ordered stone. I was then told the stone would not look anything like the sample for months due to a quarry issue.

Stone was sent to the wrong address and then I was told it was my responsibility to repack the stone for backward shipping.

I recently wrote a review of our purchase dissatisfied that the order was caked in mud and that some of the stone wasn’t Yorkstone as ordered. I’ve been contacted by Yorkstone Supplies who were quick to rectify the situation by offering replacement stone. Excellent customer service showing that they care for their customers and that they wanted to quickly amend on an error. Would use again.

Everything was so easy. I ordered it over the phone and 3 days later it was delivered, exactly when promised.

Good clear web site and the stone arrived promptly. It was a good selection ideal for building dry stone wall and well matched the website pictures for colour and texture . I also found the stone easy to work with in terms of cutting with angle grinder or by hammer and chisel.

Stone ok. Disappointed the delivery driver had to offload by hand as no equipment to offload pallet in one go.
